Family lived first in Virginia and sometime between 1801 and 1802 moved to Grainger Co., Tennessee. They had nine children born in Virginia, and three in Tennessee. Descendants live in Tennessee, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Colorado and elsewhere.
