Today we are going to take a step back in time and enter the age of the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs are an extinct species of animal that began to live on the Earth over 200 million years ago. “Extinct” means that they no longer exist. The dinosaurs are some of the most intriguing and awe-inspiring animals that have existed on our planet. The dinosaurs’ colossal size, strange characteristics, and mysterious disappearance make them inherently worthy of study and interest. Even more than these reasons, the study of dinosaurs itself is an incredible adventure which requires thought and imagination. The study of dinosaurs helps you to appreciate just how mysterious and amazing life and nature really is. Our planet supports not only us and the animals that live today, but it even supported creatures as gigantic and strange as the dinosaurs- just think how cool that is! I hope that you bring a spirit of openness and wonder to your study of the dinosaurs, and that you come to appreciate the mystery and value of the dinosaurs. In this book we are going to talk specifically about the Stegosaurus. The Stegosaurus is one of the most well-known dinosaurs because of its peculiar appearance; it had giant bony plates protruding down its entire back. It not only had plates on its back, but it even had a tail equipped with four sharp spikes! We are going to talk about how the Stegosaurus used these plates and tail-spikes and about much more including the dinosaur’s overall appearance, its behavior, and the environment it lived in. We are also going to discuss the age of the dinosaurs and the dinosaurs which the Stegosaurus lived with. We know what we know about the dinosaurs from a variety of sources including fossils, biology, and other scientific disciplines. Fossils are the ancient remains of the dinosaurs, the most familiar being their bones. Biological science is the study of life in general, but many scientists compare the dinosaurs to modern day animals to support their theories. Before a talk about dinosaurs can take place it is important that we discuss the theory of evolution. Evolutionary theory supposes that all the animals we know and see today are the direct descendants of animals that existed millions of years ago. The dinosaurs and other creatures that existed millions of years ago either died out or gradually changed into different animals. For instance, birds are considered to be surviving dinosaurs because their dinosaur ancestors survived the dinosaur extinction event (we will discuss this later).

The purpose of this book is to go back in time to the age of the dinosaurs and explore just what exactly the Akylosaurus was, what it did, and where it lived. It is important and fun to learn about dinosaurs because they were some of the strangest and wonderful creatures to ever live on our planet. Exploring the mysteries of our planet is an engaging and worthwhile activity for people to do, and what better mysteries to learn about than the mysteries of the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs became extinct thousands of years ago but we still have access to their bones which scientists call fossils. The scientists which study fossils are called paleontologists. Paleontologists find fossils and study them in order to learn things about dinosaurs. We are going to talk about the things that scientists have discovered and what they hypothesized dinosaurs did. A hypothesis is an educated guess. We are going to learn about the “educated guesses” of scientists. They are only guesses, no matter how educated, because it is hard to prove things about dinosaurs since they no longer exist. Even though they are guesses they are incredibly important to think about because scientists use a lot of information and connect a lot of clues in order to come up with their guesses. They compare their dinosaur discoveries to animals that are alive today; they use scientific equipment to mathematically and chemically test fossils; and they write papers to defend their arguments. The scientists take their guesses very seriously and they are passionate about exploring the nature of the wonderful and strange creatures we call dinosaurs. We are specifically going to talk and learn about the Ankylosaurus. The Ankylosaurus is the famous armored dinosaur. The Ankylosaurus was fully covered in hard-armor, like a tank, and on the end of its tail was a club. We are going to talk about its armor, its tail, and much, much more! When talking about dinosaurs it is important that you are using your brain to think and to imagine. Imagination is really important when talking about dinosaurs since we rely on it to picture how the dinosaurs and looked and acted since we cannot see them in nature- so learning and thinking about dinosaurs is also important since it makes you use your imagination and creativity to really go back in time and “see” the dinosaurs. It is very important to flex your imagination because the imagination is something specific to you as a human being. Imaginative vision is absolutely vital to you as a person because it is connected to how you think through problems and to how you perceive the world. The world should be a mysterious and awe-inspiring thing to you. The very fact that dinosaurs, gigantic animals in all shapes and sizes, existed should fill you with wonder (and hopefully excitement). The very fact that anything exists at all should be exciting enough! Your imagination makes boring things exciting and fills mundane things with significance if you are creative enough.

Today we are going to embark on a journey back to the age of the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs are some of the most incredible animals that ever lived on our planet. They lived nearly 200 million years ago and thrived for about 165 million years. We humans have only been around for about 60,000 years and we have only been using computers for about 75 years. The dinosaurs mysteriously became extinct and disappeared from our earth, but left their fossilized remains behind. Dinosaur fossils have been constantly discovered in human history; the Chinese thought they were dragon bones and Europeans thought they were the bones of biblical monsters. Luckily, the scientific study of dinosaurs began in between 1815-1824 with the discovery of an Iguanodon fossil. Since then dinosaurs have been discovered all over the world. Their immense size, strange shapes, and wonderful natures make them inherently worthy of interest. The study of dinosaurs requires depth of imagination, analytical skills, and thought. The many unanswered questions about their lives, behavior, and disappearance provoke the curious to seek answers and ask even more questions. I hope this book fuels your imagination and makes you want to learn even more about dinosaurs. I hope you learn to appreciate the value of the dinosaurs and that you bring a spirit of openness and wonder on your journey back to the age of the dinosaurs. The animal we are going to study today is closely related to the dinosaurs. Its name is Tylosaurus. It was a very large animal that lived in the oceans during the age of the dinosaurs. We are going to learn about what it looked like, how it behaved, and explore its environment it lived in. We know what we know about the dinosaurs from a variety of sources including fossils, biology, and other scientific disciplines. Fossils are the ancient remains of the dinosaurs, the most familiar being their bones. Biological science is the study of life in general and many scientists compare the dinosaurs to modern day animals to support their theories. For instance, birds are considered to be surviving dinosaurs because their ancestors survived the dinosaur extinction event (we will discuss this later). Remember that any time you see an * next to the name of a dinosaur, it means that a book has been written about this dinosaur in the Dinosaur Books for Young Readers series. Any word written in bold is an important scientific term which is defined in-text. Italics are used to denote the first time a dinosaur’s name is mentioned in the book.

By reading this book you are going to take a step back in time and journey to the age of the dinosaurs! The dinosaurs are the some of the most amazing creatures to live on our planet. They existed around 200 million years ago and continued to exist for 165 million years. The human race has only been around for about 60,000 years. This means that the dinosaurs lived on earth 2750 times longer that we have! For reasons unknown the dinosaurs mysteriously disappeared 65 million years ago and became extinct. The only reason we know they exist is because we have found their fossilized remains in the earth. Humans have come across dinosaur fossils throughout history, but it wasn’t until the 19th century (1800s) that the study of dinosaurs became a formal scientific study. The first fossil given serious attention as a dinosaur specimen was an Iguanodon* fossil. Since then dinosaur fossils have been discovered all over the world. Right now paleontologists and scientists are doing important digging in China because feathered dinosaurs have been found there, but even the scaly ones are important too. The dinosaurs’ strange shapes and sizes have sparked the imaginations of countless people. The study of dinosaurs requires depth of imagination, analytical skills, and thought. I hope this book fuels your imagination and makes you want to learn even more about dinosaurs. I hope you learn to appreciate the value of the dinosaurs and that you bring a spirit of openness and wonder on your journey back to the age of the dinosaurs. The dinosaur we are learning about in this book is the Pachycephalosaurus. This dinosaur is famous for its thick dome-like skull. We are going to learn about this dome structure, the dinosaur’s appearance, behavior, and how it related to its environment and the dinosaurs it lived with. What do kittens eat and why? Early development Best time to get a new cat? Chapter 2 Fascinating Cat Species Balinese: Chartreux: Egyptian Mau: Chapter 3 - A Cat’s History A Cat’s Life Fascinating Features Conclusion Author Bio Introduction The smallest feline is a masterpiece. Leonardo da Vinci Have you ever thought of a cat as masterpiece in motion? There is no doubt cats are fascinating creatures, from the tip of their ears all the way to their furry little toes! Cats have a rich history going back many years, long before you and I were even born. Many nations, but especially ancient Egypt, worshiped cats as gods and goddesses. Some Egyptians loved their cats like family, and gave them beautiful jewelry to wear around their necks. However, other nations feared this unique creature and tried to destroy them, only to realize much later how important cats truly are. Thankfully, cats survived, and today are one of the most popular pets in the United States. But they are not only pets. Did you know some cats even ran for office? In the small town of Talkeetna, Alaska a fun loving cat called Stubbs won the election! And it has been reported that he’s an excellent mayor. But that’s not all. He even has his own Facebook page affectionately called Mayor Stubbs. Cats and dogs also have quite an interesting history, even though most people claim the animals hate each other on sight! While that may be true in some cases, in others it is quite the opposite. The Journal for Applied Animal Behavior Science published an article in 2008, which explained the problem between cats and dogs. It’s something that affects us as people too! Have you guessed yet? Well, it’s quite simple. It’s called…“lack of communication.” Don’t be surprised at this fact. Just like us, if cats and dogs don’t “talk things out” they won’t get along. So the Journal noted the importance of introducing the feline and the canine (Cat and dog), early on in life. In other words, they should be introduced at less than 6 months old. If they are, then both cat and dog will understand each other and coexist together in peace! Kitten & Puppy playing together Perhaps this plan will not work for every single cat, but it’s worth a try. Of course cats have a very unique personality, and some may even be a bit moody. But on the whole, they are a beautiful expression of nature’s great diversity!

In this article, we will present 10 facts about puppies that you ought to know. 1 - Puppies are born after a 63 day gestation cycle, which means the mom is only pregnant for 63 days. 2 - Puppies are born almost helpless, but they have several natural instincts the moment they are born. 3 - Puppies instinctually are able to nurse right after birth, and will spend a large portion of their time feeding and sleeping. 4 - The first couple weeks, puppies will be unable to open up their eyes. 5 - In the first few months of their life, they will grow very rapidly developing both physically and socially. 6 - Despite an independent nature, they learn quite a bit from their littermates soon after they are born. 7 - Puppies require quite a bit of socialization, meaning you will have to spend a great deal of time with them in order to familiarize them with their surroundings. 8 - Every puppy needs to be taken to the veterinarian within two months of their birth, not only for a check-up, but to get the initial shots that they will need. 9 - Puppies need to be dewormed at an early age, and they should also be checked for potentially deadly conditions such as Parvo. 10 - At some point, puppies will have to be potty trained, something that should start about two months after they are born. Although there are many more facts about puppies that you can learn, the best thing you can do is learn from experience, and also apply all of the techniques that you learn from books, the Internet, and people that have successfully trained puppies before. Having a puppy is a wonderful experience, but it takes hard work and dedication to allow them to become healthy adult dogs that you will love for many years to come.

Author Bio Introduction "A dog is man's best friend, and vice versa." -Anonymous Dachshunds are beautiful little dogs with a big personality! They have a long body, short little legs and belong to the hound family group. Dogtime.com refers to them as “short on leg but long on personality.” Aren’t they cute? At the start of their history, Dachshunds were busy chasing and flushing out badgers. This skill applied to burrow dwellers, which are animals that dig holes or tunnels. Normal size Dachshunds were bred for this singular purpose, but the shorter size breed was another story. They were better at chasing rabbits, so they were bred for this purpose. Some even hunted in packs to track bigger animals. Today, Dachshunds have other abilities apart from game hunting. They are found in many conformation shows and living at home as family pets. Their unique personality and versatile nature is very appealing and they make great family companions! Their coat can be a unique blend of colors. Some are single colored or dappled, which is single colored with spots. The primary color is red. Black and tan is the most common color. There is even solid black and solid chocolate. For a long time, Dachshunds were considered favorites, but especially since the 1950s! Can you believe this little dog has kept its fame for such a long time? No doubt the Dachshunds high intelligence and loving affection has been a great part of their fame. But don’t let their large eyes and soulful glances fool you. A Dachshund is not the easiest dog to train! And if you leave them to their own devices you may be surprised at their stubborn nature. Despite this, these little dogs are big on heart. And because of their variety, colors, and skills, there is a Dachshund for almost everyone! For these reasons and many more, Dachshunds are highly recommended as a faithful companion. Unlike other dogs, they are more of a one - person family pet. This steadfast and loyal nature is well deserving of the title “man’s best friend!”

Why? Well for starters, it’s a disgusting job, but I think you’ll agree that cleaning a bathroom is a task that is not to be taken too lightly, it can cause sickness or worse if you just let it be. It’s a big job most of the time and often we don’t know where to start, a lot of the time and we tend to leave it until it is so filthy that we can no longer stand it. But I think we can all agree that there is nothing more disgusting than going to someone’s house and using a filthy bathroom. I once went to a friend’s house and had to use their bathroom. The stench in that room nearly killed me off! So I decided I would rather go in my pants than use that bathroom (I didn’t if you wanted to know. We left for home before I went to those drastic measures). So even if it’s just for the neighbors we should clean it. Though it doesn’t excuse the fact that it is a big job every single time you clean it.Well, I’m here to tell you that even deep cleaning it can be less of a big deal when you know how to go about it. All it takes is a plan, some rags, cleaners and some desire.
