Book excerpt: When I first gave my life to God, I never knew anything much about God truly, as I began to Seek for answers, desiring more from God, He began to reveal things unto me, there were the basic things that the Holy Ghost taught me first thought and my Spiritual education has begun.I wonder how many of Gods Children desire, a wonderful walk with God and are truly willing to pay the unrealized price that God requires you to be a Seeker of God so that He may reveal Himself unto you as God. What are you in search of? As I started Seeking for answers and of course, I was looking for God also. So shall we all begin new UN-realized things that God will require of us, to manifest His Will unto all of us a Seeker of God? Shall we then begin our journey of Seeking for, the invisible God that the Bible teaches us about and for the reasons of many, that we have Heard of His name, so many times, even as a Child growing up.How do you begin to Seek after God, that you have only Heard about, I have a clue, why not begin, by prayer, as we gave our life and heart unto God, will you my Dear Reading Friend, begin to be a Seeker, by much prayer, I must confess, that as a writer by the Anointing of the Holy Ghost, that I have already begun my journey, as a Seeker of God, years ago, as God drew me into much prayer and of course, by using my faith, it is required to please God.God's written Word teaches us, that without faith, we cannot please Him and for he that COMETH TO GOD MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS, AND THAT HE IS A RE-WARDER OF THEM THAT DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM.So Gods written Word, gives us our clues, that God is a rewarder of them that diligently Seek Him. I also must confess, once again, my Dear Reading Friend, that, I have found that God is true, to anyone that is a Seeker of Him, for Him to be a good rewarder of them that diligently, Seek Him and I have truly been made rich, in much grace, because I believed that He is, and I believed that He is a rewarder of them, that diligently Seek, Him, however my journey was and has always been a journey of faith believing, never allowing, doubt to creep in, at all, for it is faith that pleases God and without faith we cannot please, Him.I have learned that if I want to please God that I must bring my faith with me and to always use it, as I need to please God, as I Seek after Him, so will you my Dear Reading Friend, if you want to please God, as a diligent Seeker of God.Worldly minds would think, that we are crazy, proclaiming to be a Seeker of God, however though, we are not of the world any more, we are of the Church of Jesus Christ, His Followers. WOW... WE ARE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS. It is by no chance, that we are drawn into a search for God, as Seekers, of Him, because we all are supposed to be Followers of JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. Does not Gods Word tell us all to pick up our cross and Follow Him, being a Seeker of God is truly one way, of picking up our cross and Following Him, my Dear Reading Friend? In being a Seeker of God, you must learn this one very important thing, my Dear Reading Friend, that there is never any turning back, because, Gods Word says that His Soul will have no pleasure in Him.We are on a journey, and it is a journey of faith and a journey of learning to pray and to worship God. I like worship music, but I have Heard a preacher and him being a piano player, that he does not like worship music, but I differ with this kind of statement though, because worship ushers us into Gods presence, just as prayer does also.Prayer is a special, time between you and the Lord. It is through times of prayer that we call upon God that you draw nigh unto God or close to Him, my Dear Reading Friend.Drawing nigh unto God is what Seeking God, is all about; we are on a Spiritual journey, searching for the living God that we serve. All you have to do is begin to pray like you have never prayed, in your life and to learn to always obey the Holy Ghost every time that He prompts you.

As human beings, we cannot live without meaning, satisfaction, freedom, identity, justice, and hope. Christianity provides us with unsurpassed resources to meet these needs. Book excerpt: “This is a series of stories of what it looks like to walk with God, over the course of about a year.” So begins a remarkable narrative of one man’s journey learning to hear the voice of God. The details are intimate and personal. The invitation is for us all. What if we could hear from God . . . often? What difference would it make? We have a lot to sort through on any given day. A whole lot to navigate over the course of a week or a month. Am I in the right place? The right relationships? How am I going to come up with enough money to do the things I want to do? And what about love—is this the one? Will it last? What is causing all those fears I keep pushing down inside? Why can’t I overcome those “habits” that look more and more like addictions? Am I at the right church? Should I even go to church? What is God doing in my life? All day long we are making choices. It adds up to an enormous amount of decisions in a lifetime. How do we know what to do? We have two options. We can trudge through on our own, doing our best to figure it all out. Or, we can walk with God. As in, learn to hear his voice. Really. We can live life with God. He offers to speak to us and guide us. Every day. It is an incredible offer. To accept that offer is to enter into an adventure filled with joy and risk, transformation and breakthrough. And more clarity than we ever thought possible.

For men and women in the workplace, this was just what they needed: practical help in applying their faith to their work life; encouragement to live out their faith; empowerment to be more effective in their jobs; support to become powerful witnesses at work; and examples of others who experienced the presence of God at work. It has since become one of the fastest growing e-mail devotions on line. Now Hillman has written his second book of devotions. TGIF includes 365 all-new daily meditations, plus a bonus topical index to find devotions that relate to specific topics such as motives, handling disappointments, adversity, integrity, finances, decision making and much more. Whether for individual quiet times, Bible study groups or workplace groups, these daily devotions will help men and women fulfill God's call on their lives in the workplace.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Inspiring Christians to see people as God sees them and make a difference As Christians, we want to make a difference in this world. We want to have an impact not only on our immediate family and community, but on wider social issues. We want to protect the vulnerable and engage with the issues that really matter. But how? This book shows us how wonderful, liberating and empowering it is to be made in God’s image. It will change how we see ourselves and other people. Some will feel the call to run for office... others will roll up their sleeves and join the good work of non-profit ministry... and others might simply find little ways to incorporate this vision of human dignity into their everyday lives, and change their community one word, one action, one person at a time. Dan Darling shows us that each one of us can be, and are called to be, part of this new movement-a human dignity revolution that our societies desperately need, and how we-you-are uniquely placed to join. This compelling book shows you how to join the dignity revolution.

Book excerpt: Putting on Christ is a roadmap of our heroic journey to Spiritual Rebirth, also referenced in the holy writ as "the gate" that leads to eternal life. This gate is the First Comforter which is received and initiated through a "baptism of fire" and manifestation of the Lord's Spirit. The Savior said, "Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able" (Luke 13:24). For the true seeker and truth seeker, Putting On Christ may prove a valuable guide for the journey along this straight and narrow path which leads to obtaining the knowledge of God on the level as if we had seen Him. When we receive this knowledge, we will have been healed and cleansed by Christ Himself of our sins, vices, and spiritual wounds . This knowledge then opens the door to "obtain all other things pertaining to life and godliness" (Lectures On Faith 7:18). Putting On Christ includes the stories of nine people who were born of the Spirit or born of God in our latter day-six of whom are personally known to me. These nine have obtained the same knowledge-even the perfect knowledge as to God's reality. This experiential knowledge obtained is on par with many who have entered God's Presence through a near-death experience. In either scenario, one can never be the same thereafter. Each will have received "a mighty change" or conversion of the heart towards God. This same knowledge is available to all who have come under heavenly contract with God through the ordinances by proper authority. The Lectures on Faith teach that "whatsoever constitutes the salvation of one will constitute the salvation of every creature which will be saved" (Lectures on Faith, 7:9). Jesus said to Nicodemus: "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God" (John 3:5). Being born of the Spirit is much more than receiving the Father's promise through "confirmation" after being baptized by water. There is a broken-hearted covenant and cry of the soul we must each make in the depths of repentance, performed in complete surrender, having a committed willingness to do His will in all things thereafter. Once these and other conditions are met, the fulfillment of the Father's promise can then be made experientially "real" for us in our lives-unto the praise and glory of God. This is when we transition from the knowledge about God to the actual, perfect knowledge of God. Indeed, this is salvation. The path is real and He is coming. Waste no time. -Steven Anthony Bishop LDS Author
