Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Oftentimes, in the process of Awakening, Spiritual Seekers encounter stuck-points like: I get it, then it’s lost. I feel its fleeting nature. I know I am the Soul. But it’s PRACTICE-based feeling, not SELF-EFFERVESCENT. When I am asked to realise IT within, my scientific temperament overpowers my philosophical bent of mind because the world is outside me, after all; I can see it. Do you know why Spirituality seeks us? Is Spirituality your eternal habit of being? If one reads this book with Grace on one’s side, one can move beyond one's stuck-points to taste the nectar of spiritual advancement. You get to access your tangible Soul through deepened silence. You learn to let your mind allow you to discover what you are, all by yourself, without interfering. Where is your breath? Inside of you, within; outside of you, without; or, is it you? Where do you exist when the world ceases to exist? What is Truth in Spirituality? You get insights on how, ‘When you arise as sight, the world arises as vision’; and, ‘When you return to yourself, the world returns to its roots.' This book is a handy reference guide for spiritual seekers stuck at various stages of their spiritual journey.
Book Synopsis The Awakening of Intelligence by : J. KRISHNAMURTI
Download or read book The Awakening of Intelligence written by J. KRISHNAMURTI and published by J. KRISHNAMURTI. This book was released on 2023-04-15 with total page 575 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When thought sees that it is incapable of discovering something new, that very perception is the seed of intelligence, isn’t it? That is intelligence: ‘I cannot do.’ I thought I could do a lot of things, and I can in a certain direction, but in a totally new direction I cannot do anything. The discovery of that is intelligence. This comprehensive record of J. Krishnamurti’s teachings is an excellent, wide-ranging introduction to the insights of the great philosopher and religious teacher. Apart from existential issues such as violence, insecurity, conflict, pleasure, fear, and suffering, Krishnamurti examines larger but related questions, such as the role of the guru (with Professor Jacob Needleman); the traditional methods prescribed by Vedanta (with Swami Venkatesananda); the problem of good and evil (with Alain Naude); and the relationship between thought and intelligence (with Dr. David Bohm). First published in 1973, this book contains, apart from Krishnamurti’s public talks and answers to questions from the audience, his incisive dialogues with some of the eminent minds of his time.

Download or read book Truth Be Known written by Jananivasa dasa and published by FriesenPress. This book was released on 2018-06-28 with total page 356 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “It is said that truth is stranger than fiction but this opinion is due only to incomplete knowledge. Relative to the eternal spiritual reality, nothing is stranger than a world whose people are uneducated in conclusive spiritual truth. Lacking the qualifications required for reception of perfect knowledge, most people of this world are totally oblivious to the nature of spiritual subject matters, much less have they a clue of the identity of God. Spiritual understanding is lacking because the object of understanding is unknown. Indeed, most people of this illusory world would not know the Supreme Spiritual Person even if He were standing before them. It is instructed by the Vedic authority that the first qualification for reception of perfect spiritual truth and knowledge is simply to admit our bewildered condition. Because it is only the Absolute Truth who can save this world from certain destruction, this book was written to give people a chance to see what they do not know. References from the Vedic scriptures are provided as proof but the real fool proof approach to Absolute Spiritual Truth is to receive the knowledge directly from the Vedas. It is due to divine design that the Eternal Spiritual Reality has until now, until this dawning age of enlightenment, remained unknown to the conditioned residents of this criminal world. As instructed in the “Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ”; “There are many mysteries in Christ consciousness, but there are no mysteries in God consciousness.”

Book excerpt: This book illuminates the path to liberation for those who turn inward, beyond the boundaries of religious denominations, and rise above the attachments in life in order to attain knowledge of their true nature. The foundation of this path is laid out in four chapters: The Study of the Mind, Understanding Suffering, The Nature of the Inner Path, and Teaching the Path. The Intelligence of Awakening describes the prospect of the transformation of our human life which--from an inner perspective--is determined through the identification with an I, which was created by the thinking mind's restricted worldview. Download or read book In The Grip of Paranoid Schizophrenia - Third Edition written by Larry Podsobinski and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2018-09-02 with total page 252 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is a story of the affects on the author of paranoid schizophrenia, diagnosed at age 17 through current 2018 age 60. Unlike previous editions, the author reflected upon his contribution back to society, and he realized the reason in the previous editions for the long Philosophy chapter stuff was not a part of this story. He realized this came about by growing up in the 1970s and that 'we all want to change the world' theme of those times. So Larry has done a "reconstruction edit" in this version and all of the Philosophy has been deleted, and replaced with more accurate newer discovered information on this illness. And as the author sets out in 1994 to prove there is never a reason to go back into the hospital as long as one adhere's to "effective" medications. He invites questions, and will answer them in his YouTube format channel. This book does, however, ascribe to the medical model for treatment. Is current, honest, and true. As corroborated by newly written contributions by clinicians.

Book Synopsis Mirror of Consciousness by : Anna J. Bonshek
Download or read book Mirror of Consciousness written by Anna J. Bonshek and published by Motilal Banarsidass Publishe. This book was released on 2001 with total page 516 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Mirror of Consciousness ambitiously traverses a wide range of themes pertaining to art, creativity, knowledge and theory. Its unique perspective lies in its exposition of Vedic Science as brought to light by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and in the application of the principles of this science to preliminary analysis of the Vastusutra Upanishad. No other publication has examined art and theory with the same comprehensive vision. To do justice to the topic of universal value in art and theory, the author has delved into several areas that impact the visual arts--late twentieth-century debates in art theory, models of historiography, new definitions of culture and tradition--in the context of the individual`s own consciousness or simplest form of awareness. Though comprehensive and detailed, it will appeal to those who are curious about trends in the visual arts, the advent and impact of new technologies, and the development of collective consciousness in our time.
