Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There have been many qualities obtained over the years, including work and positions of leadership in several nonprofit organizations. Also a deep interest in color and design, ranging from the ownership in two art shops that bridged the gap between art gallery and a craft shop, with quality and variety. This led to set design for a local theater and interior design that I love. However, the greatest achievement, besides raising four children, was my participation in the Harmonic Convergence. This took place in 1987, and the best place to be was the only sacred site east of the Mississippi at the Serpent Mounds in Ohio. Since I needed an active part, I was The Hug Lady and met people from all over the world. Whatever we did, it helped, because the Berlin Wall came down within three years, and it was the beginning of the end of Communism. I enjoy anything I can do to help others.

How Auras Are Manifested, Tinctured And Spiritualized. fN the problem of human life the two words materiality and spirituality apply to states of the spirit under the government of the self--man being either material or spiritual in thought, feeling and action and: such conduct defining the character. Consciousness, -which is the sphere of divinity, becomes the spectrum of-the soul, as mind is the spectrum of consciousness, lay which the character is manifested. The aura is fundamentally under the government of these states which indicate the character; but primarily it radiates deific glory. In the series of correspondences by which the Absolute and the Eternal are appaiently associated with the Relative and the Temporal, the spirit adapts Itself to each and all. There is no confusion or disorder, no interference or interruption in their free action, each state or sphere of the spirit find its own reflector and reflection and so transfers or translates the inner into terms of outer glory. The absolute radiant center is the Divine Fountain of Spiritual immanence and radia tion and it is eternally and unchangeably the same. It may and does have other collateral and sudordinate centres but it is supreme, it works through them to fashion the world of mind and form into the spiritual and celestial archetype and the need of all relative series becomes manifest when it is remembered that while only God is, the Manifest as the form of God is dependent upon the Divine Immanence. The series of correspondences by which the self or God functions in spheres which manifest the one perfect state of God, transform or veil the surpassing and ineffable light of God into the various forms with which the consciousness deals;.

Book Synopsis Radiant Human by : Christina Lonsdale
Download or read book Radiant Human written by Christina Lonsdale and published by HarperCollins. This book was released on 2021-04-27 with total page 280 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A revolutionary exploration of the relationship between human energy and color, visualized through more than 200 photographs from the “the Annie Leibovitz of aura photography” (New York Times) and a “Dutch painter on acid” (Vogue). The prodigal daughter of a visionary painter mother and a two-time commune founding father, Christina Lonsdale was raised by her parents on a commune in Taos, New Mexico, at the dawn of the digital age in the 1990s—formative years when science (the advent of the worldwide web, the introduction of the cell phone) and spiritualism (New Age) occupied equal bandwidth. Having her aura photograph taken awoke a passion that combined her spiritual and technological interests (an aura is an energy field emanating around a living being comprised of mental, spiritual, and emotional levels; an aura camera captures the colors of the aura on Polaroid film). With her first aura camera—the Auracam 6000—she began photographing and analyzing family and friends, then in 2014, took her skills and equipment on the road. Radiant Human includes hundreds of Polaroids selected from the author’s vast archives of some 45,000 images she has taken over a six-year period. The book explores the nature of the human aura, and the notion that aura images may not only capture a person’s essence in that moment, but reveal characteristics of their overall disposition. As Lonsdale describes what all the colors suggest, considering their many variations and nuances, and in relationship to each other. To illuminate her discoveries, she shares her subjects’ stories throughout the book, sometimes accompanied by a single shot, other times by a series of images taken over a period of year. She also includes profiles of well-known people she has photographed including Chloë Sevigny, Joseph Altuzarra, Busy Philipps, and SZA. Lonsdale makes clear that we are not just physical bodies, but collections of energy as well—giving consideration to the relationship of how we present ourselves to the world and who we are as well as the potential reality of the space in between. Her aura work is a study of humanity, and the energy we radiate and receive—the good, the bad, and the weird vibes—helping us understand better who we are.
