Peter is able to bring these world events to a level that relate to the lives of everyday people, while giving us an insight to the way our world leaders would handle the apocalyptic situations. One point brought up by one of the book?s characters, Pope Peter II, is monumental, "The Bible is the most widely published book ever?why does no one know how it ends?" The insight the author has is straight forward, and Peter does not hesitate to challenge other schools of thought. The "Left Behind" theory is put under scrutiny, and the characters give argument to this widely accepted theory, quite successfully. The Seven Angels of the Apocalypse, is not a long, drawn out novel, which is good, because the readers attention will be so intense, that you just can?t put this book down. This book takes you from today, to the Second Coming. There will be a sequel, The Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ, to take us from the Second Coming to the end of Revelations. Do not read this book before bedtime!

Book excerpt: The laws which relate the modern world to earlier ages, and the position of our own era in a universal time-cycle, are explained in this book in a way which reveals the essential nature of time. It is shown that time imposes patterns of its own on the order of events, which reveal themselves by numerical regularities. By means of a Platonic view of creation, which connects temporal with non-temporal realities, it is shown to be possible to see how man's inner life holds the balance between these two kinds of objective reality. Traditional cosmological doctrines form the background to the ideas presented, which include insights into the power of universal time to realize evil, and how this can be overcome by those who understand it. Both non-Christian and Early Christian sources are also quoted in this connection, to illustrate the universality of the cyclic idea of time. Connections are made between metaphysical ideas of time and the scientific idea of entropy and its varied applications. The cyclic idea of time is used to resolve the apparent conflict between the vast tracts of time which have elapsed before Homo Sapiens and the relatively recent appearance of revealed religion. The last two thousand years are analyzed numerically in terms of traditional cosmology, so as to make it possible to calculate our present position in a universal era, together with the time within which this era will end. Finally, there is a review of the possibility that this ending may coincide with the Last Times, and the implications that this would have for current values and religious beliefs. 'How, when, and why did the world begin? And how will it end? Or is there no ending or beginning? What is infinity, and are such questions merely about illusions? What part does mind play in creation? Are we and the universe programed toward a certain end. . . ? The Apocalypse was rejected for seven hundred years by the churches of Asia Minor, where the book originated, and with good reason. The book of Revelation unleashes a vision of a gore-fest at the End of Time, a relentless apocalyptic nightmare, badly written, repetitive and self-contradictory. In chapter after chapter, it details outlandish horrors, the supposed fate that imminently will befall the enemies of God. As you will discover if you dare to read this book, these are not the words of Jesus. Do not be scared of the horrors described in the Apocalypse, because the prophecies therein described were made by a false prophet and they are completely untrue. Instead, one should rely on the prophecies as told by Jesus in the Gospels and the prophets of the Hebrew scriptures, such as that of Daniel, Ezekiel, Zechariah, Micah and Isaiah to provide the information that we need understand this great event in human history. The Second Coming of Christ and the Kingdom of God. Who then wrote the Apocalypse? He is the same person that John the Elder confronted in the Roman Baths of Ephesus and called "the enemy of the Truth". If as I will show, that the Book of Revelation was written by this person, then clearly, he is an enemy of the Truth, the Apocalypse cannot be included the Christian Canon of the New Testament. Now take heed of a prophecy that Jesus made about a future time after his crucifixion."Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is near.' Do not follow them." (Luke 21:8)Do not follow anyone who says "the time is near" Jesus says. Do not be deceived he says. Yet this is exactly what the writer of the Apocalypse says."Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near." (Revelation 22:10)As a Christian, as long as you adhere to the words of Jesus and the Apostles recorded in the Gospels and the other writings of the New Testament, then the council of John the Elder, the disciple that Jesus loved and the author of the Fourth Gospel, will serve you well. Quoting the words of Jesus:"If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.'" (John 8:32)May this book set you free, but this it will not do unless you are willing look past your prejudices, seek the truth and read it. You will not regret it if you do.
