Schulpolitik, Note: 1,0, Philipps-Universität Marburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Fragestellung, inwieweit der Anti-Bias-Ansatz institutioneller Diskriminierung ausländischer Schüler und Schülerinnen beim Schulübergang, von Grundschule auf die weiterführende Schule, entgegenwirken kann. Integration und Einwanderung gehören heutzutage zu den zentralen Politikfeldern in Deutschland. Statistiken zufolge waren im Jahr 2011, 42 Prozent der Bevölkerung, Personen mit Migrationshintergrund. Im Jahr 2017 ist diese Zahl auf 51 Prozent gestiegen. Dabei handelt es sich um einen Zufluss von 4,4 Prozent zum Vorjahr 2016, 2017 sind es 19,3 Millionen Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund. Dies ist der höchste Wert, seit der Einrichtung des Ausländerzentralregisters im Jahre 1976. Die Gründe für Migration sind vielfältig. Allerdings werden beide Seiten, die Einwanderer und der deutsche Staat, durch die vermehrte Migration nach Deutschland vor Probleme gestellt, welche gelöst werden müssen, um Integration in die deutsche Gesellschaft zu ermöglichen. Eine Anpassung von verschiedenen gesellschaftlichen Faktoren, ist für eine gelungene Integration daher unabdingbar. Dabei ist ein wichtiger Faktor, besonders für die nachhaltige Entwicklung des Menschen, der Bildungssektor. Eine gute Bildung und Ausbildung ist über die Jahre immer wichtiger geworden. In der heutigen Zeit ist, unter Berücksichtigung des Arbeitsmarktes und der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung, eine gute Bildung von enormer Bedeutung. Die Ergebnisse mehrerer Studien zeigen jedoch deutlich, dass Bildungschancen sehr abhängig von der Herkunft der Menschen sind. Wissenschaftlich nennt man dieses Phänomen "institutionelle Diskriminierung", welche, anders als die individuelle Diskriminierung, nicht aufgrund persönlicher Vorurteile einzelner Individuen entsteht, sondern ihren Ursprung in den normalen Organisationsstrukturen, Routinen und Programmen im Basissystem des Gesellschaftlichen Lebens hat. Neben anderen betroffenen Institutionen, stehen besonders Schulen und ihre Lehrkräfte, durch die wachsende Heterogenität der Schulklassen und der nicht angepassten Lage des Bildungssystems, vor einer immer größer werdenden Herausforderung.
