Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Johnny Jewel works as a cowboy but his ambition is to be an aviator and he spends much of his time studying and dreaming about flying. Johnny learns of a damaged plane abandoned in the desert on the Mexican side of the border, and comes up with a plan to put it to work. His affairs are being monitored by Mary V, the ranch owner's spunky daughter, who is slowly taking interest in Johnny. But in the meantime, a gang of rustlers are taking advantage of his passion for flying in order to distract him from his job of keeping an eye over the ranch's horses. The Thunder Bird is a sequel of Johnny Jewel's story and it looks like our heroes didn't learn their lessons, as Johnny seems more stubborn and Mary V more spoiled. Johnny is determined to pay his debt before going back to the ranch and to Mary V, but this time his affairs take a foray into an international intrigue. Bertha Muzzy Bower (1871-1940) was an American author who wrote novels and short stories about the American Old West. She is best known for her first novel "Chip of the Flying U" about Flying U Ranch and the "Happy Family" of cowboys who lived there. The novel rocketed Bower to fame, and she wrote an entire series of novels set at the Flying U Ranch. Several of Bower's novels were turned into films.

Book excerpt: This carefully crafted ebook: "Peter Pan Adventures – Complete 7 Book Collection (Illustrated)" is formatted for your eReader with a functional and detailed table of contents. The Little White Bird introduces the character of Peter Pan, a free spirited and mischievous young boy who can fly and never grows up. Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens – Peter is a seven-day-old infant who, "like all infants", used to be part bird. Peter has complete faith in his flying abilities, and he manages to escape out of the window of his London home and return to Kensington Gardens. Upon returning to the Gardens, Peter is shocked to learn from the crow Solomon Caw that he is not still a bird, but more like a human. Peter and Wendy – Peter Pan is the leader of the Lost Boys on the island of Neverland that is inhabited by mermaids, fairies, Native Americans and pirates. He takes Wendy Darling and her two brothers to their magic world and they have many adventures with Peter, his fairy Tinker Bell, the Lost Boys, and the pirate Captain Hook. Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up is a fairy play about a mischievous yet innocent little boy who can fly, and has many adventures on the island of Neverland with Wendy Darling and her two brothers. When Wendy Grew Up – Peter returns for Wendy years later. But she is now grown up with a daughter of her own named Jane. When Peter learns that Wendy has "betrayed" him by growing up, he is heartbroken until Jane agrees to come to Neverland as Peter's new mother. The Story of Peter Pan is a retelling of the Peter Pan story by Daniel O'Connor. The Peter Pan Alphabet by Oliver Herford contains Peter Pan themed rhymes for each letter of the alphabet. Sir James Matthew Barrie (1860-1937) was a Scottish novelist and playwright, best remembered today as the creator of Peter Pan.

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is an irresistible ode to the joys of childhood. An immediate sensation when it was first published one hundred fifty years ago, Lewis Carroll’s groundbreaking fantasy novel takes readers on a incredible journey from a drowsy riverbank in England to an extraordinary world populated with unforgettable characters including the anxious White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the grinning Cheshire Cat, and the notorious Queen of Hearts. The Swiss Family Robinson is the beloved story of a family marooned on a desert island. Left behind by the crew and other passengers of their wrecked ship, four brothers and their steadfast parents build a home in the jungle wilderness, complete with livestock, a small farm, and a sturdy tree house for shelter.
