Book excerpt: Anomalies, God and the Multiverse is a journey of discovery and spiritual growth, as the female heroine moves through six parallel universes on a quest to prove the existence of a divine creator of the universe. It begins in our own world, with a science teacher trying to demonstrate to her students that it is the inexplicable anomalies in nature that support the reality of God. When personal ruin ends her pursuit, she finds herself awakening in a strange parallel world with its own spiritual beliefs and challenges, and later in another and another, each very different yet with their own similar truths. Ultimately she enters the ongoing moment of creation, a universe of music and light, and experiences a direct communion with God. Anomalies serves as a metaphor for the soul’s journey in its quest for spiritual perfection, its desire to return to the Creator from which it came.

Albert Ross is an anomaly. Karma doesn't think anything he does is wrong. It's a glitch in the universe that God can't fix. Every trillion or so births in the universe, there is a karmic anomaly. That's not to say karma doesn't have its retribution. For every horrible act Albert Ross commits, karma punishes Vikram Suresh. Poor, sweet Vikram. He doesn't know why his life is so horrible. He doesn't know why the universe is unkind. It's unkind because of Albert Ross. That is the crux of the karmic anomaly. Karma thinks everything that Albert Ross does is actually carried out by Vikram Suresh. What a horrible lot in life. That's why Vikram kills himself. It usually doesn't matter when a poor, miserable schlub dies, but this death has instant ramifications. With his death, Karma can instantly see Albert Ross again and realizes its mistake. Like a rubber band, all the horrible things that Albert's ever done slingshot back to him at once. And God watches with glee as karma has its revenge. Worst Thing in the Universe is narrated by God, as he pontificates on the horrible fate of Vikram Suresh, expounds on the nature of the universe, and explores the flaws in the whole system.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If the physical constants, initial conditions, or laws of nature in our universe had been even slightly different, then the evolution of life would have been impossible. This observation has led many philosophers and scientists to ask the natural next question: why is our universe so "fine-tuned" for life? The debates around this question are wide-ranging, multi-disciplinary, complicated, technical, and (at times) heated. This study is a comprehensive investigation of these debates and the many metaphysical and epistemological questions raised by cosmological fine-tuning. Waller’s study reaches two significant and controversial conclusions. First, he concludes that the criticisms directed at the "multiverse hypothesis" by theists and at the "theistic hypothesis" by naturalists are largely unsuccessful. Neither of these options can plausibly be excluded. Choosing between them seems to turn on primitive (and so hard to justify) metaphysical intuitions. Second, in order to break the philosophical deadlock, Waller moves the debate from the level of universes to the level of possible worlds. Arguing that possible worlds are also "fine-tuned" in an important and interesting sense, Waller concludes that the only plausible explanation for the fine-tuning of the actual world is to posit the existence of some kind of "God-like-thing."

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Can you Count the Clouds?" asks the voice of God from the whirlwind in the stunningly beautiful catalogue of nature-questions from the Old Testament Book of Job. Tom McLeish takes a scientist's reading of this ancient text as a centrepiece to make the case for science as a deeply human and ancient activity, embedded in some of the oldest stories told about human desire to understand the natural world. Drawing on stories from the modern science of chaos and uncertainty alongside medieval, patristic, classical and Biblical sources, Faith and Wisdom in Science challenges much of the current 'science and religion' debate as operating with the wrong assumptions and in the wrong space. Its narrative approach develops a natural critique of the cultural separation of sciences and humanities, suggesting an approach to science, or in its more ancient form natural philosophy - the 'love of wisdom of natural things' - that can draw on theological and cultural roots. Following the theme of pain in human confrontation with nature, it develops a 'Theology of Science', recognising that both scientific and theological worldviews must be 'of' each other, not holding separate domains. Science finds its place within an old story of participative reconciliation with a nature, of which we start ignorant and fearful, but learn to perceive and work with in wisdom. Surprisingly, science becomes a deeply religious activity. There are urgent lessons for education, the political process of decision-making on science and technology, our relationship with the global environment, and the way that both religious and secular communities alike celebrate and govern science.

Book excerpt: It took me many years to understand better the world we live in. I experienced that the Universe has its way for existence. When you follow it, you can flow with it not against it and that is the way. Living among people who fight against the Universe brings you against the current of the Universe. The history shows that those who understood the wisdom of Universe got in trouble as the code of Universe is inconvenient to some. These days, seat belt laws and other bogus laws are exploiting you every day under Slogan of safety and public service. The greed brings legal harassment, exploitation and Corruption to you, making money by corrupted police, local courts and governments. You are being rubbed by those who should help you. You are in neo slavery. Good reality perception allows you to say it like it is. Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed and all others said it like it is so can I and you. See the reality and flow with the Universe. Find the way to happiness today. Take your chains of your slavery away and become free with true justice, liberty and freedom to all as it is your birthright given to you by the Universe. With every day life we get distracted and we loose the touch with reality, nature and the Universe. We all need to find the way to understand and enjoy our journey through our life. Our small piece of Universe we have on Earth is the most beautiful. You need to see the beauty. To see it you need to be sensitive, to be sensitive you need to be good and to be good is to know how to flow and follow the Universe – the Universe knows what it is doing so can you. The code of Universe is yours to experience, it is free to all of us and no corrupted government or individuals can take it from you. The Laws of Universe override all other laws. Once you allow yourself in the Universe, you may understand more then you can imagine. You can find the way that brings you closer to the powers of our existence. These are thoughts not from doctrines of any schools, religions but individual experience of a man living in the time and space of our Universe. Discover your way and enjoy it. Be Good... Book excerpt: Powerhouse social media influencer and online marketing and business development expert offers inspiration and hands-on tools for readers to follow their dreams and understand why not fitting in is their biggest asset. Bringing your whole, true self to your work, including your body, soul, and spirit--and allowing your faith to be part of your day in your workplace--lets you express your fullest potential and be as successful as possible in the world. Sandi Krakowski found early on that, as she put it, she had "too much God" in her for the workplace and "too much money and business" in her for churches. That made her an anomaly, but it also unlocked her greatest potential: if nobody was doing it her way, she'd find a new way to do things. Her success has been proven time and again in the companies she's founded and sold, and in the groundbreaking social media marketing she's done that engages with her followers to where they all plainly feel they know her intimately. Her current business, A Real Change, inspires people to live their fullest, most successful life, on all levels. In her new book, Sandi will offer all the inspiration and the real, hands-on tools to inspire everyone to follow their dreams, fulfil their real potential, and not leave any part of their soul or spirit behind them on this workplace journey. Every chapter is jam-packed with inspirational stories in her inimitable voice, exploring the ways that each of us can have an impact every day, with tips, takeaways, and "Anomaly Actions" to spur every reader to take power in their own work and spiritual lives right away. Sandi shows on every page how to break past those doubting voices, both in your own head and out in the world, bucking the system and learning to find the absolutely limitless growth that comes from choosing faith over fear.

Book excerpt: The thesis presented in this book argues that life on earth is part of the reproductive system of an external parent species and our human soul the germ cell (a gamete) of a Father Being. We hold that all physical life on earth is the "soma" and whether it relates to the lives of individuals, or of species, can only have limited tenure. As a gamete however, our soul is part of the "germ-line" of our creator-beings and has the potential to live on after our death and the extinction of our species.

Pray that you are never me. -Wendigo The Indian Problem is a novel based on the horrific practices that occurred during the early 20th century in which the children of indigenous tribes in Canada were forcibly taken from their villages and interred in residential boarding schools, where they were subjected to physical, mental and sexual abuse in an effort to “kill the Indian in the Indian.” It’s told through the eyes of the Ojibwe whose lives are upended by this program, as well as a Jesuit priest who tries to change the abhorrent practices, and a young nun with a checkered past who helps him. The Wendigo, a powerful demon of myth, is called down by a native woman to stop the men from stealing her child, but now released, it goes on to infest those running the boarding school, adding its own insatiable appetites to those of the aberrant nuns and headmaster. Eventually it controls the entire school, wreaking horror after horror on the innocent children, and its hunger never ends…..

This book was released on 2012-09-05 with total page 435 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Is the universe ultimately meaningful, ordered to an end of transcendental value? Or is it merely the product of random interactions in which organization emerges only locally and by chance and is conserved only so long as rare and improbable conditions prevail? There can, in fact, be no more important question, for on the resolution of this question depends the significance of all our worldly labors. The Ultimate Meaningfulness of the Universe represents a new departure in this debate, arguing that because it describes rather than explains the universe, mathematical physics is radically incapable of addressing this question. The book argues for a new scientific research paradigm that while incorporating and building on the description of the universe supplied by modern mathematical physics, goes beyond it in a restored discipline of teleological explanation. The book sketches applications in the physical, biological, and social domains, and shows that powerful evidence already points toward the ultimate meaningfulness of the universe.
