To choose by ballot. And plurality vote a Town Clerk, one Selectman for three years, a Town Treasurer, Tax Collector, Overseer of Poor, one Library Trustee for three years, three Highway Agents, two Auditors, Chief of Police, measurers of wood and bark, weigher of hay and straw, cemetery agents, and such other officers as the town may j'udge necessary to be chosen. Article 2. To see what compensation will be paid town officers and what limitation of time the Tax Col lector may have to settle with said town. Article 3. To see ii_ the town will raise such sums of money as may be necessary to defray the Town's expenses including all departments. Article 4. To see if the town will authorize the Selectmen to borrow money in anticipation of taxes. Article 5. To see if the town will vote to accept the plot of ground now owned by Mrs. Louise Baldwin Greene, adjacent to Canaan Street Cemetery, and deed back desired portion to said Mrs. Greene - the plot as a whole to become a part of the aforementioned cemetery. Article 6. Pursuant to a petition of ten voters: to see if the town will vote to extend the regular street lighting service by adding two lights between West Canaan - Railroad Crossing, by Hood's Milk Plant, and Foley's house.
