The Treas urer acknowledges having received from the Executors of the late Mr. John Holmes, formerly one of our Vice Presidents, the remainder of his bequest to the Dixmont Department for the Insane, amounting to which, with the former payment of acknowledged in the Annual Report of 1883, makes the sum of the bequest twenty two thousand three hundred and thirtyjfgfi dollars, This noble benefaction has been invested, by direction of the Board of Managers, as-follows in five per cent. Ivater Extension and Improvement Bonds of the Borough of mckeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, which cost at par, and With accrued interest, and in the six per cent.
