Por ello, el lector interesado encontrará que los conocimientos expuestos intentan aplicarse a este campo concreto. El texto está dividido en capítulos que pueden agruparse en grandes bloques temáticos, concretamente de la siguiente forma: los capítulos 1 a 3 tratan del uso del tiempo libre y de ocio, de los objetivos de la animación deportiva en este tiempo libre y de la importancia de la pedagogía social en este terreno; los capítulos 4 a 6 tratan sobre los fundamentos psicológicos básicos del individuo y su aplicación al deporte recreativo; los capítulos 7 a 9 tratan sobre los aspectos sociológicos del deporte; los capítulos 10 a 12 tratan sobre los aspectos organizativos de las actividades de animación deportiva; el capítulo 13 trata sobre el papel y las funciones del profesional de la animación deportiva; a partir del capítulo 14 los temas tratados tienen que ver con el grupo deportivo y su dinámica (sobre el funcionamiento normal y sobre formas de atajar los funcionamientos anómalos o no deseados)....
