It aims at the superlative degree of littleness; and in this point seeks to resemble the least watch ever made—the least picture ever painted—the tiniest flower that ever grew. It desires to be among books as the humming-bird among birds. "As soon as a child’s mind is capable of receiving systematic instruction, this humble work attempts to convey it." -Preface

Book excerpt: You don’t have to grow old. You can live forever. This book will help you walk in God’s promises of long-lasting health. The Bible is full of promises related to believers having supernatural youth restored even in their advanced years. Yet few are actually walking in those promises. Instead, a huge percentage of Christians are suffering from some sort of pain, disease, or disorder and are physically and mentally exhausted. Plus, many depend on cosmetic procedures and surgeries to recapture their youthful look. But what if it were possible to tap into the youth-restoring promises the Bible says are ours? What if these revelations would enable us to run faster, serve stronger, and last longer? What if we could look better than we have in decades without cosmetic surgery and costly procedures? Katie Souza has found secrets in the Bible that show how we can see these manifestations in every part of our bodies. In this explosive study she gives readers the keys that will enable them to tap into the fountain of youth God promised His people. FEATURES AND BENEFITS: Gives readers tools to prepare themselves to physically keep up with the new wine of revival God is going to pour out upon the earth Shows readers how to guard themselves against spiritual attacks on their physical well-being and experience supernatural healing and rejuvenation Includes questions at the end of each chapter that can be used for personal study or in small groups OTHER BOOKS BY KATIE SOUZA: Healing the Wounded Soul (2017) ISBN: 978-1629991900

Book excerpt: This one is more of a comprehensive study of the Bible that covers creations, the Life and death of Jesus, his Resurrection, Ascension into Heaven, and life after Jesus in the Bible and Revelations. It was a collection of the author's teaching notes published to educate mainly children in simple terms. Favell Lee Mortimer was a British Evangelical writer of educational books for children. Bevan supervised children's religious education on her father's estates, and her interest in academic writing developed from that experience. She created her own method of teaching children to read that was based on 'flash cards' rather than traditional books.

Book excerpt: It is December of 1932, just one year after the Worthams and the Hammonds lost Wilametta Hammond and Emma Graham in one terrible night. The Christmas spirit seems largely absent again this year. George Hammond has disappeared, and Julia Wortham's house is filled to overflowing with the Hammond children, several of whom are coming down with a mysterious illness. As Christmas nears, the children's homemade nativity scene takes on a life of its own, bringing comfort in the midst of uncertainty and hard times. This heartfelt novella lets readers share Christmas with the Worthams and the Hammonds and discover the strength of faith, love, and family.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Please enjoy this fictional attempt to answer one of many historical questions that arise from Scripture. Have you ever wondered who the Magi were that visited the Christ child, giving gifts to Mary and Joseph shortly after Jesus's birth? How did the Magi know where the child was to be born? How did they find the child after their travels from a land hundreds of miles away? This fiction is an attempt at answering some of the questions that arise from Scripture. The answers are surprising to the non-historian and will be intriguing to the reader as Antagion grows and develops into a warrior, a scholar, and finally, a participant in the nativity. The setting for the story begins in ancient Persia. The land is ruled by a king, a real historical figure. There was intrigue in the court of the Parthian empire. King Phraatises IV leads to war with the Roman empire. In an attempt to coopt the king, the Roman emperor sends a female slave to beguile him. Phraatises V is born to the couple, and through a fluke, an orphan child is presented and is named a brother to the royal baby. Sibling rivalry drives the story into warrior training and foul murder. Please join in this journey with Antagion; orphan, prince, king's guard, warrior, servitor to the King of kings, and story weaver.

Book excerpt: I thank God through Jesus Christ, who has called and chosen me to do His special work. The book is devoted to our Master, Jesus Christ, who was there for me during the writing of this book till the end of it. To God alone be all the glory and honour, for it belongs to Him. The purpose of this book is to help people to recognise God as the Almighty God and the one who wants to reconcile men back to Him like it was originally intended to be from the beginning, and if it does not, then it will lose its significance. To Jehovah the Most High God, who is able to do exceedingly, far above what we think and can imagine be majesty for ever and ever. To the people who read this book, my prayer is that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened for Jesus made this book especially for you so that you may not perish but repent. To Christians all over the world, to those who are ready for the coming of Jesus, rejoice and make sure that you remain standing, and those that are living a double life, put your houses in order. To the body of Christ, let us rejoice for the wedding supper is ready, well prepared by Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Hallelujah!

Your angels have done great things, but I fear their illusion of safety has been more damaging than they can possibly understand. The ancient evils may be gone, but new ones have replaced them." ---- Five years have passed since the death of the war god, and now angels watch over the land. It should be a time of peace and prosperity. It is not. With King Antonil marching east to retake his former lands from the orcs, Harruq Tun is thrust into a position of power he is completely unprepared for, leaving many plotting to usurp the throne for their own ends. Hovering over it all are the angels, enforcers of the law and wielders of the executioner's blades. Once viewed as humanity's saviors, the angels now find themselves struggling for a proper place in the new world. Monsters in the Vile Wedge are stirring, and in the south the nation of Ker moves to protect itself from a rule from on high. War comes, and if Harruq cannot stop it, their paradise of angels may soon become a blood-stained prison. THE PRISON OF ANGELS by David Dalglish Fear the grace enforced by the sword.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The book is a comprehensive study of John Scotus Eriugena's commentary (Expositiones) on the Pseudo-Dionysian Celestial Hierarchy, with special attention given to its literary form and theological content." "The order for introducing various aspects of the Expositiones follows the format of the work itself: first in John's own order comes the Dionysian text in translation, followed by a paraphrase or two and then by Eriugena's own comments, sometimes on particular sources, more often on the points of doctrine he wants to expound. Thus this book starts with the author, that is, John's perspective on Dionysius himself (Chapter I: "Dionysian Biographies"). For Eriugena, Dionysius was the Athenian Areopagite, but was he also the Parisian martyr Saint Denis? Turning to the text of The Celestial Hierarchy, the particular Greek codex John was working with contained its own variants and challenges (Chapter II: "The Greek Manuscript and Its Problems"). Next comes a study of John's "Patterns of Translation and Paraphrase" (Chapter III). After his multiple paraphrases, Eriugena often adds his own expository remarks, sometimes invoking other sources, especially the remaining works of the Dionysian corpus (Chapter IV)." "Those interested primarily in John's philosophical theology could turn directly to the last three chapters, spanning the arc of "procession and return" so characteristic of the Periphyseon. The Expositiones show a particular interest in creation (Chapter V), anthropology (Chapter VI) and "Christ and Salvation" (Chapter VII). Eriugena's treatment of the doctrine of creation includes a particularly innovative understanding of creatio ex nihilo. His anthropology turns on the question of humanity's relationship to the divine, whether immediate (unmediated) or mediated or somehow both. The discussion of Christ includes skillful expansions of the biblical and Dionysian images for Christ, and a presentation of salvation as "theosis" or deification." "Translations of major sections of the Expositiones are appended, as well as John's prologue to his earlier translation of the Dionysian corpus. The book also contains a bibliography, an index of premodern and modern names, a scriptural index, and an index to the works of Eriugena."--BOOK JACKET.
