Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Angel Bumps, Love Taps from Heaven is my very first collection of my personal experiences and others with angels. These experiences are genuine and messages from heaven. Angels are messengers from God, who come to us in many forms to deliver His message. God used his sense of humor and this unique way of making me aware of angels surrounding me, experiencing angel bumps. What are angel bumps? God works in the most mysterious ways to get our attention. In my case, it was angel bumps, renaming goose bumps. They were God's way of getting my attention, we all know the sensation of goose bumps, where our hairs stand up on end. We get them from being chilled or because we are fearful of something. In my case, my experience with them was a very warm, peaceful, and a loving sensation. They had a defined pattern of three, a spiritual number used throughout the scriptures of the bible. Angel bumps would begin in my arms, travel into my legs, and then into my face. In many cases a repeat of the pattern of three. My entire body would fill up with the abundance of the ultimate feeling of happiness.

Book excerpt: We live simultaneously on three planes of existence—physical, mental, and spiritual, yet skeptics limit rational explanations of the paranormal to our bodily senses. The Western world seems to ignore the supernatural—while keeping it to the confines of fiction, literature, games, and movies. We all dream, but what if your dreams seemed different? What if these dreams had the attributes of visions—giving you clarity and messages, and you immediately knew their meaning in your life? What if they were premonitions to prepare you for a terrible event to come, such as death? And what if some dreams enlightened you with knowledge and gave you hope for the future, even when you were battling cancer? In 23 Years, 23 Minutes, 13 Angels, the author takes readers on her miraculous life journey—from a simple era, surrounded by loving grandparents, spanning a decade to where understanding goes beyond logic and reason. Call them what you will—visions, dreams, or even Divine Intervention. When the fragility of life revealed itself, numerology, visions, and spirituality guided her through challenging times of illness, loss, and healing. Slow your world down and maintain a conscious appreciation for the meaning of life. Discover The Veil between Spirit and Reality and what makes a “Thin place”—and unearth what you may perceive as consequences into truth where you can experience a spiritual breakthrough!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: While the Bible is full of examples of angels delivering messages to God’s people on His behalf (the word “angel” means messenger), most Christian churches today view angel communication as “unlikely,” “impossible,” and in some cases even “heretical.” Author Kathy Mursch disagrees! In The Secret Language of Angels, Mursch writes that God’s angels are trying to communicate with us, to help us in our daily lives—right now—but most people simply don't know the languages they use to do so. She provides step-by-step guidance on how to receive and understand the messages God is sending through His angels, and she offers proof that these divine emissaries are alive and ready to help you if you will only ask. In this book, you will learn: How angels communicate with five distinct languages How to discern and interpret the messages you receive How to invoke angelic help in times of need And much more . . . Rich with scriptural references and anecdotes from those who have received messages from angels, this book will inspire you to begin a life-changing exploration into accessing the vast wisdom and love of God in a whole new way.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Horror’s pleasures fundamentally hinge on looking backward, either on destabilising trauma, or as a period of comfort and happiness which is undermined by threat. However, this stretches beyond the scares on our screens to the consumption and criticism of the monsters of our past. The horror films of our youth can be locations of psychological and social trauma, or the happy place we go back to for comfort when our lives become unsettled. Horror That Haunts Us: Nostalgia, Revisionism, and Trauma in Contemporary American Horror is a collection of essays that brings together multiple theoretical and critical approaches to consider the way popular horror films from the last fifty years communicate, embody, and rework our view of the past. Whether we look at our current relationship to the scary movies of decades ago as personal or cultural memory, the way historical and sociopolitical events and frameworks – especially traumas – reframe the way we look at our pasts, or even the way recent horror films and video games look back at our past (and the past of the genre itself) through a filter of experience and history, this collection will show the close relationship between nostalgia and popular horror. These essays also demonstrate a range of unique and diverse points of view from both established and emerging scholars on the subject of horror and the past. Edited by seasoned horror experts Karrá Shimabukuro and Wickham Clayton, Horror That Haunts Us is a book with the aim of examining why we return again and again to certain popular horror films, either as remakes or reboots or as the basis for pastiche and homage.

Book excerpt: The internationally known author and speaker provides an insightful look into the fusion of ecological issues and global gender politics. This book on the importance of trees grew out of Bolen’s experience mourning the loss of a Monterey pine that was cut down in her neighborhood. That, combined with her practice of walking among tall trees, led to her deep connection with trees and an understanding of their many complexities. She expertly explores the dynamics of ecological activism, spiritual activism, and sacred feminism. And, she invites us to join the movement to save trees. While there is still much work to be done to address environmental problems, there are many stories of individuals and organizations rising up to make a change and help save our planet. The words and stories that Bolen weaves throughout this book are both inspirational and down-to-earth, calling us to realize what is happening to not only our trees, but our people. In Like a Tree learn more about: The dynamic nature of trees — from their anatomy to their role as an archetypal symbol Pressing social issues such as deforestation, global warming, and overpopulation What it means to be a “tree person” “You will never again see [a tree] without knowing it has a novel inside, it’s supporting your life, and it’s more spiritual than any church, temple or mosque. Like a Tree is the rare book that not only informs, but offers a larger consciousness of life itself.” —Gloria Steinem

He’s intense. And he claims her with a soul-searing kiss on the spot. Gabriel’s scorching gaze, wavy black hair and deep, sexy brogue ignite a fire in her that can’t be denied, and yet every instinct she has tells her to run. But when a familiar dark force rises, and the truth of her incredible identity is revealed, Juliette must follow her heart and put her faith in the tall, dark mysterious man who enflames her.
