This book was released on 2012 with total page 154 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In order to better serve school children, we must better understand the tools we use to assess their learning and cognitive abilities. The Benton Visual Retention Test (BVRT) and Bender Gestalt Test (BG) have long been used to determine visual-motor functioning in children and adults. This study confirms that the BVRT and BG measure the same constructs and supports research that shows these assessments measure developmental effects on visual-motor abilities. Additionally, this study shows that the first three items on the BVRT-Memory can screen for developmental concerns in visual-motor functioning and be used to predict an efficient estimate of the age-equivalence score of the BG in a school-age population.
