Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God’s love for His chosen nation Israel and desire for its people to draw closer to Him radiates throughout the pages of The Israel Letters. The letters are penned to her beloved sibling, Israel, by a writer, the author names Grace. Those who love Israel and desire to pray for the nation will be greatly encouraged by the words of hope, faith, and trust found in each letter. Written with love and endorsed by the great grace God shows toward Israel, the letters include insights of wisdom and joy, the signets of those who believe deeply in the Holy One of Israel. The Israel Letters combines two of the most powerful tools in the world: prayer and the written word. Its pages are filled with Scripture references and prayers to inspire intercession. Israel is a Jewish state, but not all in Israel are people of faith. Israelis are praying for their country, and so can you. Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. Psalm 102:13 The Israel Bible Psalm 121:4, 8 (The Israel Bible)

Book excerpt: We the People explores John Howard Yoder’s account of peoplehood and develops an appreciative revision that considers the politics of Jesus in relation to the people of Israel. This revision articulates the theopolitical stakes in relation to the modern nation-state’s claims to peoplehood and the observable effects of its exegetical and historical moorings in self-assertion as the new and purified Israel. Tommy Givens then undertakes a critical engagement with Karl Barth’s account of God’s election and a theologically sensitive exegesis of key biblical texts in dialogue with Carl Schmitt, Jacob Taubes, and N. T. Wright.

Book excerpt: This book offers a critical understanding of the interface between holiness and intercession. The author reflectively narrates some of the selected biblical personalities and how holy living was exemplified in their interceding for others. Critically, the book argues that holiness in its intrinsic nature is about intercession for others. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, holiness is all about intercession, as has been ably demonstrated in this book starting with Abraham, Moses, David, and Solomon and going all the way to Jesus Christ, who sits on the right hand of God interceding for us.

Book excerpt: Out of a lifetime's experience of inspiring and leading people to pray for Israel, the author illustrates the hope we should all have in God's covenant with Israel. Yet Israel is a conundrum, not only for world politicians and leaders, but also for the Church. Whatever political position one may take with Israel, or the indignation felt through the policies of this tiny nation, one thing is made absolutely clear in the Old and New Testament of the Bible: Israel was and still is a chosen nation, set apart as a beacon for God's redemptive plans as we move towards the End of the Age. Whilst the world's critical attention is focused on the conflict raging within and around Israel, this book will inspire you to be part of God's plans for Israel through prayer and intercession.

Book excerpt: The purposes of the current project are to enhance the interest of Israel Mission and Pray Movement by training the selected members of Kansas Antioch Church. For this purpose, I have conducted a seminar to reflect the cause and reason why the churches and the Christians were ignorant on the issue of the mission to Israel. Also, have found through the research of the scripture that the Bible commands the Christians to pray for the salvation of Israel. During the period of the project, I have also conducted a training to learn how to pray actually and practically pray for Israel. Particularly, the research on the methods for Jewish evangelism helped to raise interests toward the mission to Israel. This project started with an expectation that will cause the Christians to getting interested in the mission to Israel and the prayer for Israel. According to the result analysis conducted after the seminar, it was revealed that most of the participants now stated to have interests to the mission for Israel and showed dedication and participation on the intercessory prayer for Israel.

Book excerpt: "Miracle Nation: Seventy Stories About The Spirit Of Israel" captures the epic story of the miraculous rebirth of the modern Jewish nation in 1948 and its growth until today, bound up in the varied realms of religious fervor, social justice, political perspectives, and scientific discoveries. These passionate and powerful stories of individuals provide the framework for the reader to clearly see how it is possible that ordinary Israelis, in revealing just how extraordinary they really are, exemplify the Biblical command to be a "Light unto the Nations." Israela Meyerstein's collection of stories provides the clarity of how and why the Jewish state has not only survived, but thrived through its many years of adversity. Not only is this book a powerful reminder of the many connections that Jews and non-Jews alike have for the modern Jewish miracle, but it is also a reminder of the 2000-year-old steadfastness of the Jewish People to once again live in the Land.
