This book was released on 2015-01-12 with total page 108 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This study illustrates why the language of the Qur'an is miraculous, unique, and evidence of divine authority. The author compares the language of the Qur'an with the language of pre-Islamic poetry, the Prophet's words (hadith), and the language of the Arabs both past and present, to demonstrate that although the Qur'an was revealed in Arabic it was at the same time an Arabic which was entirely new. Original and early Muslim audiences viewed this as miraculous and responded to the Qur'an's words, sounds, rhythms, etc. in a manner consistent with a deeper appreciation of its beauty and majesty which modern ears, trained by familiarity, and despite being surrounded by all manner of dictionaries and studies, are at a loss to capture. The author attempts to remove this veil and present the Qur'an to readers as if hearing it for the first time, to bring to life some of this wonder. In doing so he guides readers to appreciate the beauty of the Qur'an, to become more immersed in it, and to have a clearer understanding of its structure and flow. Devoting special attention to Surah Al Muddaththir, to underpin his analysis, Saeh thus brings the Revelation to life, to demonstrate that each surah has distinct features and characteristics that make it stand out uniquely within the design and sweep of the whole.

Book excerpt: Any divide between revelation and rationality, religion and logic has to be irrational. If religion and rationality cannot proceed hand in hand, there has to be something deeply wrong with either of the two. Does revelation play any vital role in human affairs? Is not rationality sufficient to guide man in all the problems which confront him? Numerous questions such as these are examined with minute attention. All major issues which intrigue the modern mind are attempted to be incorporated in this fascinatingly comprehensive statute. Whatever the intellectual or educational background of the reader, this book is bound to offer him something of his interest. It examines a very diverse and wide range of subjects including the concept of revelation in different religions, history of philosophy, cosmology, extraterrestrial life, the future of life on earth, natural selection and its role in evolution. It also elaborately discusses the advent of the Messiah, or other universal reformers, awaited by different religions. Likewise, many other topical issues which have been agitating the human mind since time immemorial are also incorporated. The main emphasis is on the ability of the Quran to correctly discuss all important events of the past, present and future from the beginning of the universe to its ultimate end. Aided by strong incontrovertible logic and scientific evidence, the Quran does not shy away from presenting itself to the merciless scrutiny of rationality. It will be hard to find a reader whose queries are not satisfactorily answered. We hope that most readers will testify that this will always stand out as a book among books – perhaps the greatest literary achievement of this century.

He is the God who spoke through the mouth of Muhammad in the Koran. Allah is one of the most powerful and magnetic personalities in today s world. His words as spoken in the Koran influence the thoughts, desires, and actions of Muslims on a daily basis. Is Allah the same person as the God of the Bible? Is Allah merely Muhammad s conception of God? What does Allah say about Christians, Jews and the nation Israel? Does he advocate jihad? Does he support terrorism? The book Allah Revealed does a thoughtful analysis of his identity by doing a verse by verse commentary of the Koran from a biblical viewpoint. Book excerpt: To my earthly father, my only worth was through my death. But God saw me so differently that, at first, I could barely comprehend it. Esther Ahmad thought she knew the way to earn her Muslim father’s love. She raised her hand for the suicide mission, her martyrdom guaranteeing her family a place in heaven. But God had a different mission for Esther—a journey out of Pakistan, from despair to hope, from shame to purity, and from Allah’s wrath to a Father’s love. In Unveiled, Esther examines a world in which women have no rights, no worth, no voice, and she shows how the treatment of Muslim women is linked directly to Islamic teachings. With vivid personal stories, she lays out the lies of the Qur’an against the truth she found in the Bible. This is no academic comparison but a question of life or death: What is a woman worth?

In discussing a wide range of themes, from Divine unity to causation, from love to spirituality, from prophethood to civilization and politics, Colin Turner invites the reader into Nursi's conceptual universe, presenting the teachings of arguably the Muslim world's most understudied theologian in a language that is accessible to both expert and interested layperson alike.

Book excerpt: Islam presents an astonishing situation as it rejects all except those totally committing their will and mind to Allah, Muhammad, And The Qur'an, along with several other authority figures and traditions. The Bible accepts any and all who will come as humble sinners and seek the One God through the sacrifice of the Messiah of the Jews. This book is in total agreement with the Qur'an when the Qur'an says that most Jews and most Christians are evil, corrupt, and liars-by the standards of right and wrong found in the Qur'an that is. The alternative is also true and again in agreement with the Qur'an. Muslims do not and may not adhere To The teachings of the Bible, which results in being lost by biblical teachings. The simple truth of the Qur'an is that Jews and Christians do not follow the Allah of the Qur'an, except a few who become Muslim. Also true is that the Muslims do not follow the God of the Bible, except a few who accept Jesus. God of the Bible is not Allah of the Qur'an, and Allah of the Qur'an is not God of the Bible, by name, by description, by personality, by judgment, or by love. The Qur'an has its greatest error when it says it is the completion and continuation of biblical revelation. This is fully accepted by Muslims because they have been taught that the Bible is corrupted, not the true one, and they do not read the Bible.

Book excerpt: A Gospel-Rich, Reproducible Model for Making Disciples as Jesus Intended Biblical discipleship emphasizes encouragement, repentance, and spiritual growth—essential parts of the Christian life. However, well-meaning believers often struggle to follow Jesus, unaware their views are too legalistic, licentious, or individualistic. How can churches and Christians develop a healthy, successful path to disciple-making? In this second edition of Gospel-Centered Discipleship, Jonathan Dodson presents an effective, Spirit-led model for sanctification. Reminding readers that real discipleship is imperfect yet transformational, Dodson encourages Christians to engage more authentically with others as they grow in faith. Drawing from his own failures and successes while following Jesus, Dodson defines discipleship, describes the heart of a disciple, and gives practical guidance for mentor and peer-based discipleship as Jesus intended. Revised and Expanded: Includes three new chapters and new illustrations Applicable: Shows how discipleship can be practical and gospel-centered Theological: Addresses the Holy Spirit's involvement in discipleship Foreword by Matt Chandler: Author of The Explicit Gospel

Book excerpt: This book, Allah: Understanding God in Islam, apart from describing what Islam is, explains that all prophets sent by God, including Prophet Abraham, Prophet Moses, and Prophet Jesus (Jesus Christ), were Islams prophets too and that Muslims must believe in them. The book specifically informs readers that Allah is the same God of every human being of any race, culture, or religion. The book delves into the messages of the Quran, Islams Holy Book, to highlight the importance of knowing the true nature of God, called Allah in Islam. It points out that the proper knowledge of God would compel people to adhere to His commandments in having faith in Him and His practical guidance to acquire a close and rewarding relationship with Allah and His creations as well as with all human beings, who, though diversified in various nationalities and faiths, can be united in spirit and togetherness. The book also emphasises that following Allahs guidance with understanding would facilitate people to appreciate the natural gifts Allah has given to every person and so, instead of getting overwhelmed by ignorance and falling into the trap of hatred and hostility, enable them to live a happy, peaceful, and harmonious life.
