Download or read book New multiparametric similarity measure and distance measure for interval neutrosophic set with IoT industry evaluation written by XINDONG PENG and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 24 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the epoch of Internet of Things (IoT), we are confronted five challenges (Connectivity, Value, Security, Telepresence and Intelligence) with complex structures. IoT industry decision making is critically important for countries or societies to enhance the effectiveness and validity of leadership, which can greatly accelerate industrialized and large-scale development. In the case of IoT industry decision evaluation, the essential problem arises serious incompleteness, impreciseness, subjectivity and incertitude. Interval neutrosophic set (INS), disposing the indeterminacy portrayed by truth membership T, indeterminacy membership I, and falsity membership F with interval form, is a more viable and effective means to seize indeterminacy.

Download or read book Interval Neutrosophic Reducible Weighted Maclaurin Symmetric Means With Internet of Medical Things (IoMt) Industry Evaluation written by XINDONG PENG and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 17 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is a global infrastructure composing of plentiful applications and medical devices that are interconnected by ICT. In considering the problem of the IoMT industry evaluation, the requisite issue that concerns strong interaction and incertitude. The Maclaurin symmetric mean (MSM), as a resultful information concordant instrument, can capture the interrelation among multiple arguments more efciently. The abundance of the weighted MSMs has been presented to manage the different uncertain information aggregation issues by reason that the attribute variables are frequently diverse. However, these existing weighted form of MSM operators fail to possess the fundamental properties of idempotency and reducibility. To solve the above issues, we explore the interval neutrosophic reducible weighted MSM (INRWMSM) operator and the interval neutrosophic reducible weighted dual MSM (INRWDMSM) operator. Moreover, momentous properties and some special cases of the INRWMSM and INRWDMSM operators are discussed in detail.
Book Synopsis A bibliometric analysis of neutrosophic set: two decades review from 1998 to 2017 by : Xindong Peng
Download or read book A bibliometric analysis of neutrosophic set: two decades review from 1998 to 2017 written by Xindong Peng and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 57 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Neutrosophic set, initiated by Smarandache, is a novel tool to deal with vagueness considering the truth-membership T , indeterminacy-membership I and falsity-membership F satisfying the condition 0 ≤ T + I + F ≤ 3. It can be used to characterize the uncertain information more sufficiently and accurately than intuitionistic fuzzy set. Neutrosophic set has attracted great attention of many scholars that have been extended to new types and these extensions have been used in many areas such as aggregation operators, decision making, image processing, information measures, graph and algebraic structures. Because of such a growth, we present an overview on neutrosophic set with the aim of offering a clear perspective on the different concepts, tools and trends related to their extensions. A total of 137 neutrosophic set publication records from Web of Science are analyzed. Many interesting results with regard to the annual trends, the top players in terms of country level as well as institutional level, the publishing journals, the highly cited papers, and the research landscape are yielded and explained in-depth. The results indicate that some developing economics (such as China, India, Turkey) are quite active in neutrosophic set research. Moreover, the co-authorship analysis of the country and institution, the co-citation analysis of the journal, reference and author, and the co-occurrence analysis of the keywords are presented byVOSviewer software.

Download or read book Type-2 neutrosophic number based multi-attributive border approximation area comparison (MABAC) approach for offshore wind farm site selection in USA written by Muhammet Deveci and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 14 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This approach combines the advantages of neutrosophic numbers sets, which can utilize uncertain and incomplete information, with a multi-attributive border approximation area comparison that provides formulation flexibility and easy calculation. Further, this study develops and integrates a techno-economic model for OWFs in the decision-making. A case study is performed to evaluate and rank five proposed OWF sites off the coast of New Jersey. To validate the proposed model, a comparison against three alternative T2NN fuzzy based models is performed. It is demonstrated that the implemented model yields the same ranking order as the alternative approaches. Sensitivity analysis reveals that changing criteria weightings does not affect the ranking order.

This book was released on with total page 17 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The shortest path problem (SPP) is considerably important in several fields. After typhoons, the resulting damage leads to uncertainty regarding the path weight that can be expressed accurately. A neutrosophic set is a collection of the truth membership, indeterminacy membership, and falsity membership degrees of the elements. In an uncertain environment, neutrosophic numbers can express the edge distance more effectively.
Book Synopsis A Further Study on Multiperiod Health Diagnostics Methodology under a Single-Valued Neutrosophic Set by : Jason Chih-sheng Chou
Download or read book A Further Study on Multiperiod Health Diagnostics Methodology under a Single-Valued Neutrosophic Set written by Jason Chih-sheng Chou and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 11 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Employing the concept and function of tangency with similarity measures and counterpart distances for reliable medical consultations has been extensively studied in the past decades and results in lots of isomorphic measures for application. We compared the majority of such isomorphic measures proposed by various researchers and classified them into (a) maximum norm and (b) one-norm categories. Moreover, we found that previous researchers used monotonic functions to transform an identity function and resulted in complicated expressions. In this study, we provide a theoretical foundation to explain the isomorphic nature of a newer measure proposed by the following research paper against its studied existing one in deriving the same pattern recognition results. Specifically, this study initially proposes two similarity measures using maximum norm, arithmetic mean, and aggregation operators and followed by a detailed discussion on their mathematical characteristics. Subsequently, a simplified version of such measures is presented for easy application. This study completely covers two previous methods to point out that the complex approaches used were unnecessary. The findings will help physicians, patients, and their family members to obtain a proper medical diagnosis during multiple examinations.
Book Synopsis A Parameter Reduction-Based Decision-Making Method with Interval-Valued Neutrosophic Soft Sets for the Selection of Bionic Thin-Wall Structures by : Honghao Zhang
Download or read book A Parameter Reduction-Based Decision-Making Method with Interval-Valued Neutrosophic Soft Sets for the Selection of Bionic Thin-Wall Structures written by Honghao Zhang and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2024-01-01 with total page 16 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Bio-inspired thin-wall structures with excellent mechanical properties, high-energy absorption capabilities, and a desirable lightweight level have been extensively applied to the passive safety protection of transportation and aerospace. Collaboration matching and the selection of optional structures with different bionic principles considering the multiple attribute evaluation index and engineering preference information have become an urgent problem. This paper proposes a parameter reduction-based indifference threshold-based attribute ratio analysis method under an interval-valued neutrosophic soft set (IVNS-SOFT) to obtain the weight vector of an evaluation indicator system for the selection of bionic thin-wall structures, which can avoid the problem of an inadequate subjective evaluation and reduce redundant parameters. An IVNS-SOFT-based multi-attributive border approximation area comparison (MABAC) method is proposed to obtain an optimal alternative, which can quantify uncertainty explicitly and handle the uncertain and inconsistent information prevalent in the expert system. Subsequently, an application of five bio-inspired thin-wall structures is applied to demonstrate that this proposed method is valid and practical. Comparative analysis, sensitivity analysis, and discussion are conducted in this research. The results show that this study provides an effective tool for the selection of bionic thin-wall structures.
Book Synopsis INTERVAL TYPE-2 FUZZY SETS AND INTERVAL NEUTROSOPHIC SETS IN INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS by : M. LATHA MAHESWARI M.
Download or read book INTERVAL TYPE-2 FUZZY SETS AND INTERVAL NEUTROSOPHIC SETS IN INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS written by M. LATHA MAHESWARI M. and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 407 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this thesis, interval type-2 fuzzy sets (IT2FSs) and interval neutrosophic sets (INSs) have been considered for all the proposed concepts. Fusion of information is an essential task to get the optimized solution for any real world problem. In this task, aggregation operators are playing an important role in all the fields. Since most of the realistic problems have uncertainty in nature, one can use the logic of fuzzy and neutrosophic theory. For the entire proposed concepts interval based logic has been used as it handles more uncertainty.

Book Synopsis Shortest Path Solution of Trapezoidal Fuzzy Neutrosophic Graph Based on Circle-Breaking Algorithm by : Lehua Yang
Download or read book Shortest Path Solution of Trapezoidal Fuzzy Neutrosophic Graph Based on Circle-Breaking Algorithm written by Lehua Yang and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 22 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The shortest path problem is a topic of increasing interest in various scientific fields. The damage to roads and bridges caused by disasters makes traffic routes that can be accurately expressed become indeterminate. A neutrosophic set is a collection of the truth membership, indeterminacy membership, and falsity membership of the constituent elements. It has a symmetric form and indeterminacy membership is their axis of symmetry. In uncertain environments, the neutrosophic number can more effectively express the edge distance.
