Book Synopsis Algèbre linéaire dans Rn : théorie, algorithmes et complexité by : HADDADI Salim
Download or read book Algèbre linéaire dans Rn : théorie, algorithmes et complexité written by HADDADI Salim and published by Lavoisier. This book was released on 2012-09-24 with total page 306 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
Book Synopsis Problems And Solutions In Real Analysis (Second Edition) by : Masayoshi Hata
Download or read book Problems And Solutions In Real Analysis (Second Edition) written by Masayoshi Hata and published by World Scientific Publishing Company. This book was released on 2016-12-12 with total page 376 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This second edition introduces an additional set of new mathematical problems with their detailed solutions in real analysis. It also provides numerous improved solutions to the existing problems from the previous edition, and includes very useful tips and skills for the readers to master successfully. There are three more chapters that expand further on the topics of Bernoulli numbers, differential equations and metric spaces. Each chapter has a summary of basic points, in which some fundamental definitions and results are prepared. This also contains many brief historical comments for some significant mathematical results in real analysis together with many references.Problems and Solutions in Real Analysis can be treated as a collection of advanced exercises by undergraduate students during or after their courses of calculus and linear algebra. It is also instructive for graduate students who are interested in analytic number theory. Readers will also be able to completely grasp a simple and elementary proof of the Prime Number Theorem through several exercises. This volume is also suitable for non-experts who wish to understand mathematical analysis.

Book Synopsis Linear Algebra by : Belkacem Said-Houari
Download or read book Linear Algebra written by Belkacem Said-Houari and published by Birkhäuser. This book was released on 2017-10-04 with total page 393 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This self-contained, clearly written textbook on linear algebra is easily accessible for students. It begins with the simple linear equation and generalizes several notions from this equation for the system of linear equations and introduces the main ideas using matrices. It then offers a detailed chapter on determinants and introduces the main ideas with detailed proofs. The third chapter introduces the Euclidean spaces using very simple geometric ideas and discusses various major inequalities and identities. These ideas offer a solid basis for understanding general Hilbert spaces in functional analysis. The following two chapters address general vector spaces, including some rigorous proofs to all the main results, and linear transformation: areas that are ignored or are poorly explained in many textbooks. Chapter 6 introduces the idea of matrices using linear transformation, which is easier to understand than the usual theory of matrices approach. The final two chapters are more advanced, introducing the necessary concepts of eigenvalues and eigenvectors, as well as the theory of symmetric and orthogonal matrices. Each idea presented is followed by examples. The book includes a set of exercises at the end of each chapter, which have been carefully chosen to illustrate the main ideas. Some of them were taken (with some modifications) from recently published papers, and appear in a textbook for the first time. Detailed solutions are provided for every exercise, and these refer to the main theorems in the text when necessary, so students can see the tools used in the solution.
