Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Let me start with this phrase: Ex Nihilo Nihil Fit, from nothing comes nothing! That is both logical and reflective in so many ways. For our Two captains, it is more like a prophecy to spread the divine message of Yimina from the Ysa land to the whole universe. These two protectors of light had to do something in order to reveal the hidden truth and the sinister intentions of the darkness' servants; but this time on Earth and not across the galaxies; truly, from divine efforts come divine results which they call a new age of "Enlightenment ". Adventures of two Captains volume II deals with the devilish entities which have been disturbed across the blue globe; they are in constant contact with their coward chieftain, the Prince of Darkness. It is their celestial duty to help their previous home by helping people see the truth; the green light, the most ancient magic which the universe has ever seen, is the key to truth. This book, enriched with Latin and literary phrases, can be used as a rich source for English poetry and creative writing courses; wait for the coming series! Amor et pax!

Book excerpt: Two Captains is the most renowned novel of the Russian writer Veniamin Kaverin. The plot spans from 1912 to 1944. For more than half a century the book has been loved by children and adults alike. The novel has undergone more than 100 printings, including translations into other languages. Based on its story, plays have been staged and an opera has been written. The plot of the book also became the basis of two movies of the same title in 1955 and 1976. In 1995 in Pskov, the home town of the author, a monument was erected to the characters of the book and a "Two Captains" museum was opened. The real prototype for Captain Tatarinov was Lieutenant Georgii Brusilov, who in 1912 organized a privately funded expedition seeking a west-to-east Northern sea route. The steamship "St. Anna," specially built for the expedition, left Petersburg on 28 July 1912. Near the shores of Yamal peninsula it was seized by ice and carried in the ice drift to the north of the Kara Sea. The expedition survived two hard winters. Of the 14 people who left the stranded steamship in 1914, only two made it to one of the islands of Frants-Joseph Land and were spotted and taken aboard "St. Foka", the ship of the expedition of G. Y. Sedov. The ship log they had kept with them contained the most important of the scientific data, after the study of which Sedov's expedition found the previously unknown island in the Kara Sea, Vize Island. The ultimate fate of "St.Anna" and its remaining crew is still unknown. Veniamin Kaverin (1902-1989) wrote novels, short stories, fairy tales, memoirs, and biographies. In the early 1920s, Veniamin Kaverin was a member of experimental literary group "Serapionovi bratya". In 1946 his novel Two Captains became the winner of the USSR State Literature Award.

Book excerpt: "Not an easy book to analyze but it has a curious fascination --this story of Sanya Grigorav, his early days in Moscow of the Revolution, his family life, his schooling at the Children's Shelter. The years at the university in Leningrad reflect the changing viewpoint of the Russian intellectual in the late '20's. The thread holding the reminiscences together is the Saint Maria, lost in a polar expedition, and eventually solved Sanya's training as Flight Pilot rounds out the book."--Kirkus

Book excerpt: We, the authors, Paul Amrod and Ellias Aghili are poets that have a similar vision. This vision is reflected in this poem we have created hoping for the periods in time where mankind was enlightened and truly democratic would return for the benefit of all. The two main characters of this poem are two astronauts that are called Captains. Therefore the title "Adventures of Two Captains" was chosen. Billy Meier, the Swiss proponent of communication with extraterrestrials, has collected the philosophy of the Pleaidians who are sending us thought waves through meditation. A female Semjase, who transmits these thoughts, is the name of Billy's counterpart. This inspired the poets to constantly have conversation with the Pleaidians who care deeply about our success as a relatively new race of beings that have the capability of spiritual ascension. This exciting project was begun in February of 2016 as a young Persian poet decided to ask a somewhat older Lebanese-American to collaborate with him on a science fiction adventure poem. Ellias Aghili with Paul Amrod then began the poem by exchanging five to seven stanzas as verses and sent Emails from Persia to Germany back and forth and have developed a poem of five chapters embracing a truly imaginative travel through space on a ship called Black Star in the name of light against darkness to eventually reach a far off place called Ysá Land. The two Captains are Orion and the younger protégé Captain A. Paul engaged himself with a KGB film about extraterrestrials and used named and incidents which may or may not have occurred. It was an exciting good resource for ideas. We reached an amazing Five Chapters with 20 Verses a piece describing an incredible exposition through two parallel universes to eventually reach the coveted timeless land of Ysá.

Book excerpt: Captain James Cook’s first two voyages of exploration, in 1768-71 and 1772-75, had drawn the modern map of the South Pacific Ocean and had opened the door on the discovery of Antarctica. These expeditions were the subject of Volumes I and II of Dr J.C. Beaglehole’s edition of Cook’s Journals. The third voyage, on which Cook sailed in 1776, was directed to the Northern Hemisphere. Its objective was the discovery of ’a Northern Passage by sea from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean’ - the North-west Passage, sought since the 16th century, which would have transformed the pattern of world trade. The search was to take Cook into high latitudes where, as in the Antarctic, his skill in ice navigation was tested. Sailing north from Tahiti in 1778, Cook made the first recorded discovery of the Hawaiian Islands. On March 7 he sighted the Oregon coast in 44° N. The remarkable voyage which he made northward along the Canadian and Alaskan coasts and through Bering Strait to his farthest north in 70° nearly disproved the existence of a navigable passage towards the Atlantic and produced charts of impressive accuracy. Returning to Hawaii to refit, Cook met his death in a clash with the natives as tragic as it seems unnecessary. Dr Beaglehole discusses, with sympathy and insight, the tensions which led Cook, by then a tired man, into miscalculations alien to his own nature and habits. The volume and vitality of the records, both textual and graphic, for this voyage surpass those even for Cook’s second voyage. The surgeons William Anderson and David Samwell, both admirable observers, left journals which are also here printed in full for the first time. The documentation is completed, as in the previous volumes, by appendixes of documents and correspondence and by reproductions of original drawings and paintings mainly by John Webber, the artist of the expedition. In Dr Beaglehole’s words, ’no one can study attentively the records of Cook’s third, and last, v

Book excerpt: This book culminates the entire interuniversal journey of the first book involving the arrival in Ysá Land where Yimina is the reigning spiritual leader. He continues to combine his efforts with Orion the Captain and Orator who have the essence of a new humanitarian philosophy furthering pluralistic thinking. Captian "A" our second Captain continues his work as a protégé with Orion. They are finishing their last leg of the journey back to Earth being received by the light artist James Turrell in Roden Crater in Arizona. James assists with optical illusion with his construction of holograms. Daniel Smith is the double agent with the NASA who arranges with Hollywood a filming of the extraterrestrials as they undertake to halt the second insurrection of the USA government. He is the master of research into aliens in our Milky Way and has had direct contact through a Pleaidian woman named Semjase. She and the aliens have the ability of telepathy to break the barriers of language. Therewith the aliens confront the insurgents and send them into hypnosis and conjure to follow them to a symposium in the depths of space and to be guests of their cultures. Through thought transference they convince them to enter their spacecraft and visit them in outer space. We wish you all a wonderful time enjoying reading the verses of Paul and Ellias and have hope the world will be sheltered with peace and love.

Joseph Francis Xavier Armagh is twelve years old when he gets his first glimpse of the promised land of America through a dirty porthole in steerage on an Irish immigrant ship. His long voyage, dogged by tragedy, ends not in the great city of New York but in the bigoted, small town of Winfield, Pennsylvania, where his younger brother, Sean, and his infant sister, Regina, are sent to an orphanage. Joseph toils at whatever work will pay a living wage and plans for the day he can take his siblings away from St. Agnes’s Orphanage and make a home for them all. Joseph’s journey will catapult him to the highest echelons of power and grant him entry into the most elite political circles. Even as misfortune continues to follow the Armagh family like an ancient curse, Joseph takes his revenge against the uncaring world that once took everything from him. He orchestrates his eldest son Rory’s political ascent from the offspring of an Irish immigrant to US senator. And Joseph will settle for nothing less than the pinnacle of glory: seeing his boy crowned the first Catholic president of the United States. Spanning seventy years, Captains and the Kings, which was adapted into an eight-part television miniseries, is Taylor Caldwell’s masterpiece about nineteenth- and early twentieth-century America, and the grit, ambition, fortitude, and sheer hubris it takes for an immigrant to survive and thrive in a dynamic new land.
