Men are said to be born equal but we all know men are not equal. Get to understand who you are because you are the best option the world has to solve the reason why you are here. Its just you that is needed to make things right, do not fall off your destiny by loosing out on purpose for the purpose of a thing is best known to the manufacturer so find out from God today and live your life by his design and not by default. A little baby is like a blank disk drive when born, it knows and contains nothing until things are said to him/her and events happen around him/ her i.e. basically until the five senses start catching things around. Be like that young child and start catching stuffs that will enhance your destiny ride. The death of Jesus was to bring mankind back to the former glory of leadership, dominion, solution and divine relationship. If you are born again you are a solution either in the making or one already on duty because your world needs youWake Up! Your destiny assignments are too many for you to live a life of jeopardy, a life of ignorance or a life of self non-discovery. Wake Up! The light of God in you is meant for a purpose, His decision to push you forth is not 12 Michael Obembe without a reason, the blessings, gifts, talents and stuffs of God in you are not for personal enrichments they are for specific areas of the world so find those areas and fulfill destiny. Myles Munroe once said that your existence is a proof that something is finished that you are born to express or implement. In other words, God has finished an invention and you are the project manager here on earth. Nobody is born without a mission neither is anyone born a mistake nor an experiment but its your destiny from heaven that brought you here, that destiny of being a solution to your world. You are born with a solution destinyIt is in you. The destiny of a thing is in the thing so the solution ability you possess is right inside you all you need to do is to push it out. Do not live life as a spectator, stand and be that centre-stage actor you are meant to be. Do not live life as a photocopy, live the life as the original God created you to be. There is something unique about youits the mission and vision set ahead of you and it is your being different that makes you a world reference. Remember, only you are with a unique vision, mission, talent, and gift that the world does not have. Do not run away from your destiny, choose to achieve it and build your purpose for a mission There are things you need to know, things you need to remember, and things you need to start doing to be that solution you are born to be. That is what this book teaches; it teaches a life to be lived left unlived by many. Choose to be what God created you to be.
Download or read book Lifemaking written by Nimi Wariboko and published by State University of New York Press. This book was released on 2024-06-01 with total page 263 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Lifemaking offers a fresh frame for analyzing contemporary African politics and imagining its future. Rooted in the indigenous political philosophy of lifemaking of the Kalabari-Ijo people of the Niger Delta, this work is a counterpoint to the necropolitics that dominates African political practice. For practitioners and analysts for whom Africans and their polities are caught in the TINA (There Is No Alternative) syndrome, this book offers inspiration for an alternative to the current necropolitics. Because the book's thesis is an unreserved celebration of lifemaking, it identifies collective human flourishing as essential to politics.
Book Synopsis Pride and Humility by : Shawn R. Tucker
Download or read book Pride and Humility written by Shawn R. Tucker and published by Springer. This book was released on 2016-06-16 with total page 223 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This interdisciplinary analysis presents an innovative examination of the nature of pride and humility, including all their slippery nuances and points of connection. By combining insights from visual art, literature, philosophy, religious studies, and psychology, this volume adapts a complementary rather than an oppositional approach to examine how pride and humility reinforce and inform one another. This method produces a robust, substantial, and meaningful description of these important concepts. The analysis takes into account key elements of pride and humility, including self-esteem and self-confidence, human interconnectedness, power’s function and limitations, and the role of fear. Shawn R. Tucker explores the many inflections of these terms, inflections that cast them by turns as positive or negative, emboldening or discouraging, and salubrious or vicious depending upon the context and manner in which they are used.
Book Synopsis Reading Hegel's Phenomenology by : John Russon
Download or read book Reading Hegel's Phenomenology written by John Russon and published by Indiana University Press. This book was released on 2004-10-19 with total page 315 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Reading Hegel's Phenomenology, John Russon uses the theme of reading to clarify the methods, premises, evidence, reasoning, and conclusions developed in Hegel's seminal text. Russon's approach facilitates comparing major sections and movements of the text, and demonstrates that each section of Phenomenology of Spirit stands independently in its focus on the themes of human experience. Along the way, Russon considers the rich relevance of Hegel's philosophy to understanding other key Western philosophers, such as Aristotle, Descartes, Kant, Husserl, Heidegger, and Derrida. Major themes include language, embodiment, desire, conscience, forgiveness, skepticism, law, ritual, multiculturalism, existentialism, deconstruction, and absolute knowing. An important companion to contemporary Hegel studies, this book will be of interest to all students of Hegel's philosophy.

Book Synopsis The Self and Its Body in Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit by : John Russon
Download or read book The Self and Its Body in Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit written by John Russon and published by University of Toronto Press. This book was released on 2001-01-01 with total page 216 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A major criticism of Hegel's philosophy is that it fails to comprehend the experience of the body. In this book, John Russon shows that there is in fact a philosophy of embodiment implicit in Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit. Russon argues that Hegel has not only taken account of the body, but has done so in a way that integrates both modern work on embodiment and the approach to the body found in ancient Greek philosophy. Although Russon approaches Hegel's Phenomenology from a contemporary standpoint, he places both this standpoint and Hegel's work within a classical tradition. Using the Aristotelian terms of 'nature' and 'habit,' Russon refers to the classical distinction between biological nature and a cultural 'second nature.' It is this second nature that constitutes, in Russon's reading of Hegel, the true embodiment of human intersubjectivity. The development of spirit, as mapped out by Hegel, is interpreted here as a process by which the self establishes for itself an embodiment in a set of social and political institutions in which it can recognize and satisfy its rational needs. Russon concludes by arguing that self-expression and self-interpretation are the ultimate needs of the human spirit, and that it is the degree to which these needs are satisfied that is the ultimate measure of the adequacy of the institutions that embody human life. This link with classicism - in itself a serious contribution to the history of philosophy -provides an excellent point of access into the Hegelian system. Russon's work, which will prove interesting reading for any Hegel scholar, provides a solid and reliable introduction to the study of Hegel.

Book Synopsis Heidegger's Philosophic Pedagogy by : Michael Ehrmantraut
Download or read book Heidegger's Philosophic Pedagogy written by Michael Ehrmantraut and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2011-10-27 with total page 374 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Heidegger's Philosophic Pedagogy examines how Martin Heidegger conceives and carries out the task of educating human beings in a life determined by philosophic questioning. Through an exposition of recently published lecture courses that Heidegger delivered in the years 1928-1935, his magnum opus, Being and Time, and other key texts, the author shows that the task of education is central to Heidegger's understanding of philosophy. A pedagogical intention is essential to Heidegger's discourse in all its forms: lecture course, treatise and public address. It determines the philosopher's relation to students, readers and the public generally and the task of education is here shown to have a broad scope. This book reveals a continuity between Heidegger's efforts to engender a 'living philosophizing' in students and his conception of the role of philosophy in politics, a role that is defined as a form of 'leadership'. Michael Ehrmantraut's study of the aims, necessity, character, method and limits of Heidegger's philosophic pedagogy thus opens up the political implications of Heidegger's thought as he himself understood them.

Book Synopsis Technicians of Human Dignity by : Gaymon Bennett
Download or read book Technicians of Human Dignity written by Gaymon Bennett and published by Fordham Univ Press. This book was released on 2015-11-23 with total page 422 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Technicians of Human Dignity traces the extraordinary rise of human dignity as a defining concern of religious, political, and bioethical institutions over the last half century and offers original insight into how human dignity has become threatened by its own success. The global expansion of dignitarian politics has left dignity without a stable set of meanings or referents, unsettling contemporary economies of life and power. Engaging anthropology, theology, and bioethics, Bennett grapples with contemporary efforts to mobilize human dignity as a counter-response to the biopolitics of the human body, and the breakdowns this has generated. To do this, he investigates how actors in pivotal institutions —the Vatican, the United Nations, U.S. Federal Bioethics—reconceived human dignity as the bearer of intrinsic worth, only to become frustrated by the Sisyphean struggle of turning its conceptions into practice.

Book Synopsis Wandering and Wondering by : Randall Worley
Download or read book Wandering and Wondering written by Randall Worley and published by Whitaker House. This book was released on 2017-10-10 with total page 90 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Mark Twain once said, “The two greatest days in your life are the day you were born, and the day you find out why.” But what happens when you know the why but can't figure out how to make it happen? It is this journey between the realization of your purpose and its actualization that Randall Worley calls process. Purpose, which answers why, can be realized in moment. However, process, which must answer how, is not actualized as quickly. In other words, “becoming an overnight success takes years.” Purpose has been a hot topic for several years, capturing the attention of those adrift in a culture of apathy and aimlessness. It is certainly a far more palatable subject in today’s culture of self-improvement than is process, because it seems to offer a free carpet ride from here to there. Your destiny, however, is not downloadable. The dream of your future is free, but the journey will demand a price. Yet it is in the sacrifice and effort of process that God will turn your purpose into a world-changing reality.
