Book excerpt: This work is based on the religion of Islam and the fundamental Muslims who live by Islamic Sharia law and associate themselves with Sunni Islam, or the Shia philosophy of the 6th imam. Islam's Mandate separates 80 % of the Muslim ummah (family) who live in Third World countries who cannot read or write from the radical world of Islam, as well as others who continue to associate themselves with the Muslim family, but have strayed from the teachings of Muhammad and are less than Islam's Muslim in their way of life. In the book, the author deals with 1500 year old beliefs of the fundamentalist, Islams true Muslim. The questions asked and answered are, what is the true nature of Islam, and who are the real Islam Muslims in the mosques who stay hidden behind closed doors. Those who must defend against radical Islam must take them time to understand the Jihadist. It is time America pulls its head out of Muslim sand that is soaked with blood from 1500 years of Islamic aggression, and deals with the reality of what was once an oppressed tribal cult in the Arabian Desert, but is now a dominating, brutal, and repressive theocracy spreading to every corner of this planet.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The terrorist attack on the Twin Towers, the Afghan conflict, waves of migration, and the presence of twelve million Muslims in the European Union: these are just a few of the things that have helped contribute to a growing interest in Islam, its culture, and its followers. They awaken old and new questions about a religious, cultural, and political reality that 1,200,000,000 people consider themselves a part of. This book is the result of a series of extended interviews between an internationally acclaimed expert on Islam and two journalists who have dedicated themselves for many years to studying key themes of Islam and analyzing the possibility of coexistence between people of different faiths and cultures. How was Islam born? What does the Qur'an represent for Muslims? What relationships have developed between Islam and violence, between Islamic culture and the West? How can a real integration of Islam take place in European societies? What are the conditions for a constructive encounter between Christians and Muslims? Samir Khalil Samir one of the world's leading experts on Islam responds to these questions in an in-depth interview that can help one learn and judge for oneself, without prejudice or naivete. This is a contribution in the spirit of the realism needed in order to build adequate ways of living with those who have become our new neighbors.

This book was released on 2016-05-13 with total page 740 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The greatest hope of all the religious groups that awaited for scores of centuries with a dogma of their own Holy Books which witnessed the glory and the majesty of that personality called as 'Muhammad' and 'Ahmad' – 'the Glorious' and 'the Praised', on whom be peace and lasting blessings, which certainly got fulfilled when he finally arrived on the stage of the history. The Scriptures of the Prophets that went before him ended their tasks by heralding the tiding of his coming. Despite the textual corruption of those ancient scriptures, the golden sayings were still preserved by ALLAH, the One True God as a signpost for the honest and noble readers. The seekers of truth! Be certain of the fact that Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was the promised Prophet and the awaited saviour whom the Jews called as the King Messiah. His coming was prophesied by all the Prophets like Moses and Jesus (Peace Be Upon Them) long before his arrival, and he was also mentioned in the Old and New Testaments. Likewise, the Far East Indian scriptures never failed to mention ‘his name and praises’ which certainly constitute a miracle pertaining to him and confirming his Prophethood. In the light of the above facts, how could a man of wisdom escape from this overwhelming thought? Or will he still deny this truth? Or will he still await and hope that from Heaven angels would come and guide him when the final Message has already been delivered by 'Muhammadur Rasul ALLAH' to the creation of ALLAH in general, on whom be peace and lasting blessings? Indeed, it is ALLAH, the Lord of the worlds Who Himself calls on us to acknowledge this truth in the Holy Quran: "O mankind! The Messenger (Muhammad, on whom be peace and lasting blessings) hath come unto you with the Truth from your Lord. Therefore believe; (it is) better for you. But if ye disbelieve, still, lo! Unto ALLAH belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. ALLAH is ever Knower, Wise" - (4:170).

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Since at least the attacks of September 11, 2001, one of the most pressing political questions of the age has been whether Islam is hostile to religious freedom. Daniel Philpott examines conditions on the ground in forty-seven Muslim-majority countries today and offers an honest, clear-eyed answer to this urgent question. It is not, however, a simple answer. From a satellite view, the Muslim world looks unfree. But, Philpott shows, the truth is much more complex. Some one-fourth of Muslim-majority countries are in fact religiously free. Of the other countries, about forty percent are governed not by Islamists but by a hostile secularism imported from the West, while the other sixty percent are Islamist. The picture that emerges is both honest and hopeful. Yes, most Muslim-majority countries are lacking in religious freedom. But, Philpott argues, the Islamic tradition carries within it "seeds of freedom," and he offers guidance for how to cultivate those seeds in order to expand religious freedom in the Muslim world and the world at large. It is an urgent project. Religious freedom promotes goods like democracy and the advancement of women that are lacking in the Muslim-majority world and reduces ills like civil war, terrorism, and violence. Further, religious freedom is simply a matter of justice--not an exclusively Western value, but rather a universal right rooted in human nature. Its realization is critical to the aspirations of religious minorities and dissenters in Muslim countries, to Muslims living in non-Muslim countries or under secular dictatorships, and to relations between the West and the Muslim world. In this thoughtful book, Philpott seeks to establish a constructive middle ground in a fiery and long-lasting debate over Islam.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Stripping away the revisionism to reveal the true nature of the man himself, this new book recounts the life journey of a fighter universally recognized as a unique and treasured world icon. Few global personalities have commanded an all-encompassing sporting and cultural audience like Muhammad Ali. Many have tried to interpret his impact and legacy into words. Now, Muhammad Ali: A Tribute to the Greatest allows us to more fully appreciate the truth—and understand both the man and the ways in which he helped recalibrate how the world perceives its transcendent figures. In this celebratory volume, New York Times bestselling author Thomas Hauser provides a compelling retrospective of Ali’s life. relying on personal insights, interviews with close associates and other contemporaries, and memories gathered over the course of decades on the cutting edge of boxing journalism, Hauser explores Ali in colorful detail inside and outside the ring. Muhammad Ali has attained mythical status. But in recent years, he has been subjected to an image makeover by corporate America as it seeks to homogenize the electrifying nature of his persona. Hauser argues that there has been a deliberate distortion of what Ali believed, said, and stood for, and that making Ali more presentable for advertising purposes by sanitizing his legacy is a disservice to history as well as to Ali himself.

Book excerpt: This book is a compilation of the author’s articles on various facets of Islam, published earlier in various newspapers and journals. It gives an insight into various faiths and how they have influenced the lives of their adherents. Many of these concepts have been examined in the context of Islam and Muslim culture. The purpose of the book is to reinforce the bond of tolerance between people of different faiths, ideas, and philosophies. The author firmly believes this is possible if we all understand and accommodate each other socially, culturally, and ideologically. There are several misconceptions in the minds of people on account of the absence of exposure to the authentic literature of various faiths. Most people learn about different faiths and beliefs not by studying their original literature but by inferring from what is being discussed and commented upon in public discourses. This book is a sincere attempt to encourage the general public and youth to directly understand the values and ideas that underpin all these faiths. Hopefully, this strategy or approach could help resolve several misunderstandings and misperceptions. This is the most sensible way for humanity to come closer and live in peace and harmony.

(The Holy Qur’ân, 68:4) How the Topic Arose About ten years ago, a distant cousin of mine - Mr. Mohamed Mehtar Farooki gave me a typed quotation by the French historian, Lamartine. The quotation [A detailed exposition of the quotation will be found on page 38 ] purported to prove that Muhammad (pbuh), the prophet of Islam, was the greatest man that ever lived. Mr. Mehtar was in the habit of passing information on to me, believing that I might put the same to some good use at the proper time and place. Before this he had presented me with "The Call of the Minaret," an expensive book written by (Bishop Kenneth Cragg). By analysing this book I discovered the masterful deceit of the Christian Orientalists.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book contains information which may be available for the first time in English. It discusses three prominent individuals who were executed by the dictatorial government of Saddam Hussein due to their dissent and despite their prominent status as scholars, theologians, thinkers and philosophers who deserve a prominent place in the annals of history. The world is yet to grant them the recognition they deserve, and this book is a humble attempt to introduce them to the conscience of the world. The most prominent among them is Muhammed-Baqir al-Sadr who is famous worldwide for two of his scholarly works: Iqtisaduna (Our Economics) and Falsafatuna (Our Philosophy). He invented a theory about an interest-free banking system which has been hailed as a rebuttal to the capitalist, socialist and Marxist theories of how the financial system of a nation ought to be. His sister, known as “Bint al-Huda,” was a storywriter, social organizer and poetess who used her pen to fight the immoralities of the regime of the “Butcher of Baghdad”. Muhammed Muhammed-Sadiq al-Sadr is the most senior of the three, yet this did not prevent the regime from executing him due to the large following he had, his popularity and outspoken criticism of the oppressive policies of the regime, a man who will always be remembered for his scholarship, dynamic personality and courage.

This book was released on 2017-10-27 with total page 197 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the Middle Ages, as Christian sources on the Islamic world show, Muslim culture was perceived as extremely threatening: there were many defenses of Christianity, like the treatise on the "mistakes" of the followers of Allah. This book shows, through an analysis of the works of Nicholas of Cusa and of other authors, that in the course of time this textual attitude was modified, as European authors aimed to point out the Christian truth in comparison with the "falsity" of Islamic theology, in order to reinforce Christian identity through the presupposition of its own absolute truth. The apologetic aim was gradually replaced by a systematic comparison based on partial translations of the Qur'an. The comparison with the "other" was also the basis for reinforcing identity, in order to demonstrate the truth and consequently the supremacy of one's own theoretical position.
