The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sought what was lost; but with force and cruelty you have ruled them. So they were scattered because there was no shepherd; and they became food for all the beasts of the field when they were scattered." (Ezekiel 34:3-5). God has called the shepherds to strengthen the weak, heal the broken hearted and sick, bind up the broken, and bring back whoever has been driven away. "I will establish one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them-My servant David. He shall feed them and be their shepherd." (Ezekiel 34:23). A shepherd must have a heart after God. They must lay down their lives for the sheep. They must speak the truth and protect them, leading them to green pastures. God's heart is with His shepherds. We need true shepherds.
