A esse conjunto de alterações, também se incorporam, em momento ainda mais próximo, mais dois textos legais. A Lei n. 11.341 (DOU 8.8.06) altera o parágrafo único do art. 541 do Código de Processo Civil e trata da admissibilidade das decisões disponíveis em mídia eletrônica e na Internet entre as suscetíveis de prova de divergência jurisprudencial. A Lei n. 11.382 (DOU 7.12.06), por seu turno, promoveu importantes mudanças no Livro II do Código, tendo por objetivo a modernização do processo de execução fundada em título extrajudicial, especialmente no que se refere ao regime de penhora e de expropriação judiciais. A reforma, neste campo, também tem grande importância para o procedimento de cumprimento da sentença – ou seja, para a efetividade das obrigações de pagar quantia certa judicialmente fixadas em títulos judiciais, uma vez que as normas do processo de execução, onde couber, são aplicáveis ao procedimento previsto na Lei n. 11.232/05, nos termos do art. 475-R do Código de Processo Civil. Sempre que se produzem alterações do Código de Processo Civil, logo surge uma pletora de indagações hermenêuticas sobre suas possíveis repercussões no Processo Judiciário do Trabalho. Este livro – partindo de uma reflexão sobre o método de heterointegração do microssistema processual trabalhista – desenvolve um exame das possíveis repercussões das referidas leis sobre a atmosfera.

Book excerpt: As European colonies in Asia and Africa became independent nations, as the United States engaged in war in Southeast Asia and in covert operations in South America, anthropologists questioned their interactions with their subjects and worried about the political consequences of government-supported research. By 1970, some spoke of anthropology as “the child of Western imperialism” and as “scientific colonialism.” Ironically, as the link between anthropology and colonialism became more widely accepted within the discipline, serious interest in examining the history of anthropology in colonial contexts diminished. This volume is an effort to initiate a critical historical consideration of the varying “colonial situations” in which (and out of which) ethnographic knowledge essential to anthropology has been produced. The essays comment on ethnographic work from the middle of the nineteenth century to nearly the end of the twentieth, in regions from Oceania through southeast Asia, the Andaman Islands, and southern Africa to North and South America.
