Mary is seen as the mysterious "disciple whom Jesus loved" who features prominently in the fourth Gospel. Their relationship is explored with what is hoped is openness and honesty. The work is itself fictional, but follows closely the Gospel narratives. The generous preview gives a good taste of the book.
