Several of the parables in this text are kingdom of heaven parables. The author finds these parables extra special as they give insight into the importance of how men should live just as Jesus taught men to pray—“thy kingdom come”—as man lives in the presence of God’s kingdom and in the presence of His dear Son Jesus Christ. For example, many novice researchers in Indonesian context still believe that in qualitative approach, they are not supposed to use numerical data. That might not be true. The discussion on some fallacies like the above-mentioned example hopefully can guide them to have no more doubts of employing qualitative approach.

A close examination of developments in the nonfinancial corporate sector up to the early 2015 reveals weak equity growth, declining profitability, and rising leverage. The empirical work suggests that adverse shocks to financial variables lead to weaker real GDP growth in Brazil through their effect on corporate leverage, borrowing costs, and default frequencies. An estimation based on a DSGE model with financial frictions indicates that the recent economic downturn in Brazil is largely driven by a decrease in total factor productivity and by negative financial shocks.
