In addition, there exists a lack of significant motivation to understand users' attitudes about acceptance, rejection, or integration of emerging simulation technology in training. Several factors are considered to contribute to the acceptance level of simulation training by the users, including cost, the existing training, certification policies, technical issue, and realism of training. Other contributing factors that shape users' attitudes about the use of simulators in training include, but are not limited to: values, concerns, effectiveness to teach the required skill, and the effect on the training outcome.In this research-based book, the author shares and discusses the lived experiences of medical simulation training users in decision making and non-decision making roles who had been involved in simulation training at least for one year. In addition, this book contains information about concepts of simulation training, a historical perspective of simulation technology across industries, and simulation training users' perceptions, their lived experiences, feelings associated with the experience, and interactions. The book discusses how those feelings, perceptions, opinions, attitudes, and interactions have evolved. The users' perception, beliefs, and feelings all affect their interpersonal dynamics, interactions, and communications during the adoption and implementation of simulation technology. Understanding medical simulation training through the users' perspectives can redefine how trainees communicate, interact, share, and learn in simulated environments. The identified factors discussed by users in this book help with the subsequent additions and modifications to the existing simulation training strategies in the medical field, which may be applicable to other industries. However, high level of physical and environmental fidelity of SBME, psychological fidelity is not necessarily optimal according to the literature. The term psychological fidelity means that educational situation stimulates the same psychological processes that appear in real clinical situations (1). To achive this goal our team has elaborated a new methodology named drama and simulation based medical education (DSBME) (2). DSBME method reframes the educational sitation: itremoves the instructor role without moving his/her knowledge from the situation. Apperent contradiction is solved by the technic of so called u201einner voiceu201d, which is known from the drama methodology.Materials and methods. Effects of the new methodology will be assessed by a study designe to measure elements of psychological fidelity. A within-subjects experiment with 54 undergraduate medical university students divided into groups of 4 members will be carried out. Participants will randomly be assigned to the methodology SBME vs. DSBME, the different scenarios and team roles. Hypothesis Measurement1. both team leaders and team members shows higher electrodermal activity (EDA) at DSBME EDA measuring by open-source biomonitor (obimon.com)2. team members will produce higher synchronicity with each other during team performance at DSBME detailed analysis of AV-recordedperformance (3)3. all students will show higher involvement at DSBME as compared to SBME measuring involvement by a flow survey (4)As final results will not be available by the time of the conference, in our presentation we propose introducing our new methodology (DSBME) and the study design.1.
