After moving to the United States through an unfortunate incident in a family gathering, God led us to enhance our faith. We became closer to God. We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).

He has been inspired by the Lord to write words of encouragement and inspiration to share with those who believe in God. Through Yeargins inspiring poetry, God has spoken with His Spirit so that everyone can read, study, and apply the wisdom from them to their everyday life. Each of these poetic letters is an inspiration of people, places, and things. These letters have been written to clarify our views because all of us are searching for answers to many of lifes challenging questions without knowing where to search to find the answers. A Beacon of Hope is vessel for gaining peace of mind for those things that we dont understand, thus allowing us to understand and embrace the paths that have been set before us in love. My prayer is that you receive this with an open heart and after you get it continue to trust in God God can if you trust Him and He will if you continue to place your hope in Him Every tiny tree hopes to become full grown and you should have the desire to please your God I see you as a complete success because you fixed your heart on climbing the highest mountain There is no greater place in heaven or on this earth to put your hope than to hope in God from A Beacon of Hope

Having preached for more than 40 years, from 1966 until his death in 2008, Father Ilarion conveyed a potent message of the possibilities that open to the human souls who turn to God with singleness of mind and humility. From Sunday sermons to inspirational homilies throughout the Church year, this compilation also illustrates the Russian Soviet and post-communist religious expression.

Book excerpt: Walk with me through 40 years of darkness into the lumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God our Savior in the person of Christ Jesus. I was molested as a child by a family member. Which left me feeling unloved & confused. I've found myself in unsafe situations, through ignorance and my desire to escape my feelings. The devil had me questioning my value and even tested my masculinity through a homosexual encounter, which propelled me into a lifestyle of darkness and despair that would last over 35 years. I embraced a life of crime at the age of 8 and was a crack dealer by the age of 10. I've been arrested multiple times in multiple states. I've psychologically abused and manipulated women of all ages. I've robbed people and stolen from people that I love. I've fought and worshipped the devil while being his advocate. I've been involved in obeah, voodoo and other demonic practices. I've done prison sentences as a juvenile and as an adult. I've witnessed multiple friends and enemies die, right beside me and lost both of my parents within a year, while serving an 18 year and 9 month Federal Prison sentence. I've been in the middle of physical and spiritual wars and have survived it all through the grace of God. This is my testimony, of how God delivered, protected, redeemed and pulled me out of the pits of hell and prison. We are all called, by The Redeemer, to a life that glorifies Him and Him alone. I share my experiences with you and the world, so that you can see, what he did for me, and that you may realize, We all have the treasures of His greatness buried inside of us, (2 Cor. ch 4:7) and that, the moment you recognize or yield to His calling, He will glorify Himself through you as well, making you a Lighthouse of His majesty and a beacon of hope in this world.

Book excerpt: Allow a few words to premise my purpose in thus approaching you. I am constrained by feelings fervent--affectionate--deep-seated. Let gratitude be first named. I should indeed be heartless, if I were untouched by kindness: and I should be worse than heartless, if not moved exceedingly, when kindness is exceeding. Next, duty bids me thus speak. I owe you service in the holiest sense. I hold a spiritual office. I am here to promote the interests of your immortal souls. Next, intense desire should not be silent. Duty is a cold term for ardent feeling. A lukewarm ministry is a withering blight. It is an iceberg in the Church. Next attention is here called to Genesis. Where all is marvelous and all divine, no part can have surpassing worth. Accept, then, these Beacons as assurance of sincere desire that you should be the happiest among the happy--the most joyous among the joyful--the most holy among the holy--the most godlike among the godly--the most saintly among the saints--the most heavenly-minded among the heavenly--the most glorious among the glorified. This state of grace will be in proportion as you dwell in Christ, and Christ in you. May your souls be wholly swallowed up in Him! Then your sins are all forgiven--and blessed will be life's little speck--glorious will be heaven's eternal day.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “No other publication in the twentieth century has upended antiquated theological notions, truncated political ideas, and socially constructed racial fallacies like Jesus and the Disinherited. Thurman’s work keeps showing up on the desk of anti-apartheid activists, South American human rights workers, civil rights champions, and now Black Lives Matter advocates.” –Rev. Otis Moss III, author of Blue Note Preaching in a Post-Soul World and senior pastor at Trinity United Church of Christ A commemorative edition of the work that inspired Martin Luther King Jr. and helped shape the civil rights movement In this beautiful gift edition of the classic theological treatise, complete with a place-marker ribbon and silver gilded edges, celebrated theologian and religious leader Howard Thurman (1899–1981) revolutionizes the way we read the gospel. Thurman lifts Jesus up as a partner in the pain of the oppressed and reveals the gospel as a manual of resistance for the poor and disenfranchised. In this view, the example of Jesus’s life shows us that hatred does not empower—it decays. Only by recognizing fear, deception, contempt, and love of one another can God’s justice prevail. With a new foreword by acclaimed womanist theologian Kelly Brown Douglas, this edition of Jesus and the Disinherited is a timeless testimony of faith that demonstrates how to thrive and flourish in a world that attempts to destroy one’s humanity from the inside out. Having witnessed firsthand the depths of white supremacy and the heights of human civility, Thurman reiterates the inherent dignity of all of God’s children.
