I was shown that many would be helped by these articles, and especially those newly come to the faith who have not been made acquainted with our history as a people. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Soldiers who go to war without knowing how the enemy fights, end up as casualties. It's called the element of surprise, and Satan has that strategy down to a science. But he's basically used up his playbook, which means that if we understand his past attacks, and God's equally strategic response, there's no risk of catastrophic surprise. The original rebellion in heaven and the life of Christ set the pattern. The inspiring and disturbing life of one man (John Harvey Kellogg) provides insight into both the beginning of the loud cry and the alpha of apostasy. God has provided the vital intelligence we need to survive the greatest onslaught the world has ever seen.
Book Synopsis Daniel: Practical Living in the Judgment Hour by : Norman McNulty, MD
Download or read book Daniel: Practical Living in the Judgment Hour written by Norman McNulty, MD and published by Remnant Publications. This book was released on 2019-08-13 with total page 454 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book of Daniel has always been at the heart of studies on Bible prophecy for God's people. The name Daniel itself means God is my judge. Living in the judgment hour naturally draws students of prophecy to a book about the judgment. We live at a time when we need to draw closer to Christ more than ever. E. G. White commented, “Those who eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of God will bring from the books of Daniel and Revelation truth that is inspired by the Holy Spirit.” While digging deeper into the prophecies of Daniel, it is amazing to see the practicality of Christian living in this apocalyptic book. In each chapter, the author, Norman McNulty, brings out the practical message of Daniel for God's people living in these last days in addition to digging deeper into the apocalyptic passages.

Book Synopsis Seventh-day Adventist Health Reform: A Crucible of Identity Tensions by : Richard B. Ferret

This book was released on 2023-07-20 with total page 163 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Seventh-day Adventist church, formally organized in America in 1863, is today one of the fastest-growing Protestant movements in the world and defines itself as a prophetic remnant, raised up and commissioned by God to teach and preach a final message of warning to the world before the imminent return of Christ. From its beginnings, however, a sense of failure was built into the success of the fledgling movement. In order to preserve the message (the imminent return of Christ), Adventists had to erect institutions based on continuity and permanence. A dilemma emerged: medical institutions built to be conducive for separation from the world faced a this-worldly reality filled with requirements from various state entities: registration, approval, and so forth. Thus, Adventist medical institutions confronted constant challenges to their denominational and theological uniqueness. The emergence of this dilemma between aspirations of separateness and this-worldly reality was especially evident in the battle for Adventism’s sectarian identity, ethos, and future at the turn of the twentieth century—between Ellen G. White (a cofounder of the movement) and Dr. John H. Kellogg (an Adventist administrator and surgeon who sought to desectarianize the movement).

Book Synopsis Three Angels, One Message by : John T. Anderson
Download or read book Three Angels, One Message written by John T. Anderson and published by Review and Herald Pub Assoc. This book was released on 2012 with total page 322 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Now would be a good time to remember the angels' instructions. The Three Angels' Message comprise only seven of Revelation's 404 verses--a tiny percentage of what John the revelator recorded. Yet as God's final warning to a world enamored with sin, these cryptic messages are highly significant. What exactly is God warning the world about, though? And how is this warning relevant to you, considering what is currently happening in our world? If it's so important, why isn't this portion of Scripture as well known as the Ten Commandments or the golden rule? Within these pages John Anderson examines individual words and phrases to decipher clues embedded in the original language, and searches the Bible for the context in which each word is used. His careful investigation uncovers the veiled meaning of these messages by comparing scripture with scripture--and reveals just how urgent God's warning is to every human on this planet today.
