El uso de proverbios es importante para todos los idiomas. Teniendo en cuenta el aprendizaje del turco y los turcos en particular, se puede decir que los turcos a menudo utilizan proverbios en su habla diaria y cuando escuchan un proverbio de alguien que está aprendiendo turco, lo agradecen. Aunque hay diferentes estructuras de tiempo en los proverbios turcos, se usa principalmente el tiempo presente. Además, se ve que las palabras se usan de vez en cuando con un significado figurativo diferente al significado del diccionario. En nuestro libro, los proverbios se explican en detalle tanto en términos del significado de las palabras en el idioma turco como del significado del mensaje que se dará en los proverbios.
