Book excerpt: While this book is basically a novel chronicling the life of Jesuss so-called lost years, it contains many truths that have long been forgotten or seriously ignored. However, a great deal has already been written about His life in sources other than Christian. It must be stressed that the master Jesus is revered by most religions and has joined the ranks of the ten Celestial Avatars, who have come to assist mankind throughout history: e.g., Malseini, Rama, Krishan, and now Kalki, in His triple incarnations as Sai. It was from these other that I have sourced a great deal of my research for this book. Down through the ages, it has been repeated that the Jews crucified Jesus. I dispute this, as Jesus never had reason to feel in any danger from His own peoplethe Jewish people. He was a Jew and not a Gentile. Neither was He a Nazarene, for that is a name given to one not of the Jewish faith, or one who had converted from Judaism, and not taken to be from a place called Nazareth. The danger came from the Roman authority of the time and their fellow travelerswealthy Jewish merchantsfor the latter had protection under the Roman/Jewish treaty. That treaty also allowed for the Romans to put on trial and execute criminals on behalf of the Jews, for Jews were not allowed, by their own laws, to perform the act of killing except in the form of sacrificial animal slaughter as offerings to their God. The Jewish people became the scapegoats for centuries to come by those who chose to sidestep the responsibilities for their actions and blame others. The truth is that the Romans exercised a brutal regime throughout the Middle East. But it was when Jesus overturned the tables of trade and banking, which were being practiced within the confines of the temple in Jerusalem, that His fate was sealed. While Jesus is known today by that name. He was called by different names at different times and culturese.g., Yessu, Yusa Asaph, ISha Natha, Issa or Isa in Tibet. Asaph denotes that He healed lepers. At birth, He was Immanuel, later Joshua. In Aramaic as Jesu, in Urdu as Yusu, to the Greeks as Iesous, and the Romans as Iesus. I chose to call Him Yeshus, the Help of Yahveh.

Book excerpt: I am projecting to my hoped audience of Jews ---and Orthodox Jews in particular--- a very different accounting of Judaism in general; an accounting with emphasis on Scripture, first and foremost. And then there are the more nuanced offerings of portions of our Talmud Bavli produced by those subtle final anonymous editors of our Bavli from roughly 575 to roughly 610ce. Subtlety was the only coinage in this orchestration by the final anonymous editors. The over-arching power of Rabbinic Officialdom could be checked only by subtle and indirect insertions into The Record by our glorious final editors of the Talmud Bavli. God bless them. Take heed: I am quite consciously attempting to strip you of multiple presuppositions which -- if those presuppositions permeate your reading of this production -- would give you a false understanding of what I am putting forth. I fully realize that my presentation of these things is not the received presentation of these things. So when you first read it you are likely to presume that I am akin to, say, a bar Hei Hei thereby giving one a good conscience to quickly dismiss my accounting of things Jewish. It is absolutely amazing how people entrenched in a received tradition do not really HEAR what is being offered to them when it comes from a perspective to which they are not habituated. There is only one way to break that ugly danger: repetitio mater studiorum resiliationin the father of truth Take it or leave it. The burden is now on you.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I am an idiosyncratic kind of guy, and my published books are idiosyncratic. This particular book (it is my last one) engages the nexus of and between Judaism and Yeshu (the short version of Yehoshuah). Yeshu would be Josh in English, and Yehoshuah would parse out as Joshua in English. It appears that back then, the ordinary way of referring to Jesus was Yeshu. The book attempts to discuss several matters, but two matters hover over everything. The first is to capture the endemic Jewishness of Yeshu. The second is to capture the way Yeshu is portrayed in the gospels (although the Synoptic Gospels are very different from the fourth Gospel). Sadly, the manner by which Yeshu is portrayed in the gospels lends itself to the seeds of anti-Semitism. More than that, over the early Christian centuries, the early fathers of the church (none of which ever met Yeshu in the flesh) orchestrated an agendum, which is largely a falsification of the actual Jew who was crucified.

Book excerpt: With the flames of his violent past scorched into his mind, Wilas battles through Orixe’s blood-soaked crucible to gain audience with the ruling Triad, a trio of demonic gods. These vicious deities control the distribution of magic, elevating the depraved to lofty heights while the rest of the continent is left to rot in squalor. At the behest of the Forgotten God, Yeshu, Wilas enters their fabled coliseum to fulfill an ancient prophecy and remind the world that the Triad isn’t the only source of power. Wilas’ uprising rejuvenates Yeshu’s Forbidden Faith, igniting a rebellion that will engulf the continent. For centuries the Triad had strived to wipe the name of Yeshu from Orixe’s hearts and minds. Now, with each of Wilas’ victories, Yeshu’s resurgent faith ravages the Triad’s strongholds, forcing the malicious overlords to the brink. Desperate, they unleash a devious plot to ravage Yeshu’s chosen warrior’s soul with doubt and establish the Shadow Throne’s unending dominion. Meanwhile, malevolent winds blow from the north. An ancient power stirs within the hallowed walls of Solom’s Temple. It beckons Robear Malloy to claim Orixe’s crown from his ancestor’s seat and usher in a new kingdom. When the young Duke of Hyde crosses the threshold into the arcane pyramid, he’ll incite a chain of events that will pit kingdom against kingdom, blood against blood, and gods against God.

Book excerpt: The Jewish "Life of Jesus" or Toledot Yeshu provides one of the most extraordinary accounts of the beginnings of Christianity. The narrative describes Jesus as child born of adultery, a charlatan, and a false prophet who performed would-be miracles through the use of magic. Throughout the centuries, the story aroused the ire of anti-Jewish polemicists, delighted anti-clerical authors, and was viewed by Jewish scholars as a subject of embarrassment. Toledot Yeshu presents us with a formidable counter-history of the origins of Christianity. In the eighteenth century, Voltaire went so far as to proclaim that Toledot Yeshu, however extravagant, was perhaps more truthful than the Christian gospels. The object of this volume is to consider this narrative as an object of history, to question its transmission, reception and function within the various historical settings in which it circulated, and seek to understand its meaning for both Jews and non-Jews from antiquity to the modern era.
