The study included reviewing literature concerned with rear-view requirements, highway problems, and rear-view mirror design, as well as a graphical analysis of rear-view requirements for large cargo vehicles travelling on multi-lane highways in heavy traffic. The study concludes with eight recommendations on rear-view mirrors.
