This book was released on 2019-09-17 with total page 17 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: With the Kabbalists, Fire and Motion were instrumental in the formation of the world out of pre-existing Matter. Aditi, the primordial Water of Space, is the original of Sephirah, and crown of the Sephiroth. The AUM of the Hindus had become the Aion with the Greeks, and the Ævum with the Romans — the Pan or All. With Moses, Elohim and Jehovah were numerical indices of geometrical relations, and stood for a diameter and a circumference value, respectively. When Shimon ben-Yohai’s heavenly light gave place to the darkness of the gloomy cave, then only the disciples of Israel perceived that the lamp of Israel was extinguished. The key of things concealed is the key of the sanctuary. Mount Sumeru is the father of the Greek Parnassos and Tomaros. The Hindu Kailasa (Heaven), too, is the father of the Greek Heaven (Koilon). Even the German Heaven (Himmel) was inspired by the Heavenly Himalaya. From where the Greeks obtained their Parnassos, thence proceeded most of the biblical personages. Abram was one of them, a Chaldæan Brahman, transformed later into A-brahm (A-braham), i.e., no-Brahman, who emigrated westward and became the “father of many nations.” Every God and hero in ancient Pantheons, including those of the Bible, has three biographies in the narrative, running parallel with each other, and each connected with one of three aspects of the hero — historical, astronomical, and perfectly mythical — the last serving to link the other two together and smooth away the asperities and discordances in the narrative, and gathering into one or more symbols the verities of the first two. Moreover, localities are made to correspond with astronomical and even with psychic events. History was thus made captive by ancient Mystery, to become later on the great Sphinx of the age we live in. Not only is everything in Western religion is related to measures, geometrical figures, and time calculations, the principal periods being founded on historical personages, but the latter are also connected with heaven and earth truly, but only with the Indo-Aryan heaven and earth, not with those of Palestine. The Old Testament was milked out of the most ingenious brains of Hebrew Kabbalists, partly in Egypt and partly in Babylonia. Astronomically, Abraham is the sun-measure and a portion of the sun, while Enoch is the solar year, as much as is Thoth-Hermes. Equally Thoth, numerically, is the equivalent of Moses and Hermes, Lord of the lower realms and a teacher of wisdom. More! Abram and Brahmā are equivalent in numerical value! Neither the Book of Enoch, nor the Zohar, nor any other kabbalistic volume, contains merely Jewish wisdom. It was only in the Third Root-Race that the “wheel” of Enoch was invented as a first attempt at symbology, though Enoch No. 1 had naught to do with it.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Annie Besant brings readers on a journey through the planes of existence, explaining the interplay of the physical reality we perceive and the spiritual planes beyond our perception. By quoting ancient documents of Buddhism and Taoism, Besant describes the composition and processes of the mysterious worlds beyond what we see and hear in everyday life. The divine wisdom of Theosophy includes doctrines from multiple ancient religions, such as those of Egypt, India, Tibet and Eastern Asia. In the eyes of the theosophist, each of these contributes truths to the phenomena of the physical, astral and mental planes which are explored by Besant. Philosophical concepts of the Self, the soul, the afterlife, and reincarnation receive attention in the later stages of this book, which also explains the links between the planes and concepts such as the Buddha realms and Nirvana. Besant keenly summarizes and describes the major facets of theosophy, whilst praising the movement's founder H. P. Blavatsky. Throughout this text, Besant's gifts for explanation and descriptive writing demystify spiritual mysteries and ideas that would otherwise be hard to comprehend. For years a leading proponent of the theosophic movement, Annie Besant published several books and delivered lectures in the early 20th century.

In this book, many of these sources are revealed for the first time. Special emphasis is placed on the Hellenistic doctrine of the "Solar Logos" and the early Christian symbolism which depicted Christ as the Spiritual Sun, the illumination source of order, harmony, and spiritual insight. Based on 15 years of research, this is a unique book which throws a penetrating light on the secret traditions of early Christianity. It clearly demonstrates that number is at the heart of being. Jesus Christ, Sun of God, illustrates how the Christian symbolism of the Spiritual Sun is derived from numerical symbolism of the "ancient divinities."

"The Medieval alchemists hid the Great Arcanum among innumerable symbols and esoteric allegories. This was in order to save it from profanity, and in order for them to avoid being burned alive in the blazes of the Inquisition." --Samael Aun Weor

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Western religious traditions, God is conventionally conceived as a humanlike creator, lawgiver, and king, a being both accessible and actively present in history. Yet there is a concurrent and strong tradition of a God who actively hides. The two traditions have led to a tension between a God who is simultaneously accessible to humanity and yet inaccessible, a God who is both immanent and transcendent, present and absent. Western Gnostic, esoteric, and mystical thinking capitalizes on the hidden and hiding God. He becomes the hallmark of the mystics, Gnostics, sages, and artists who attempt to make accessible to humans the God who is secreted away. 'Histories of the Hidden God' explores this tradition from antiquity to today. The essays focus on three essential themes: the concealment of the hidden God; the human quest for the hidden God, and revelations of the hidden God.

Book excerpt: Now in a fully corrected edition, one of the true spiritual classics of the twentieth century. Published for the first time with an index and Cardinal Hans Urs von Balthasar’s afterword, this new English publication of Meditations on the Tarot is the landmark edition of one of the most important works of esoteric Christianity. Written anonymously and published posthumously, as was the author’s wish, the intention of this work is for the reader to find a relationship with the author in the spiritual dimensions of existence. The author wanted not to be thought of as a personality who lived from 1900 to 1973, but as a friend who is communicating with us from beyond the boundaries of ordinary life. Using the 22 major arcana of the tarot deck as a means to explore some of humanity’s most penetrating spiritual questions, Meditations on the Tarot has attracted an unprecedented range of praise from across the spiritual spectrum.

This book was released on 2009 with total page 370 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Any attempt to explain the mysterious connections between consciousness and matter, and self-consciousness in particular, necessarily involves much complexity. Because all levels of relative reality are present here and now, the human being embodies the whole hierarchy of the cosmos: a microcosm of the macrocosm, to use an insightful Renaissance expression. Besides the physical human body, there is the dynamic structural plan of that body (called the 'astral body'), the desire nature, the life force that permeates all living creatures, consciousness involved in sense perception and practical operations, consciousness capable of universal thought and awareness, and pure consciousness manifest in pristine intuition. Above these six principles of human nature broods the luminous spirit called the Atman. Many people are seldom aware of anything more in themselves than the first five of these principles, although many also have intuitive glimpses of universal understanding, often as transcendent experiences which cannot be sustained. Because understanding cannot be separated from experience, and experience cannot be divorced from the way we live, think, feel and have our being, various spiritual traditions have offered practices to nurture these inner awakenings to our higher natures and to a greater awareness of spiritual reality. Theosophy connects together how we live our lives, what we think and how we focus our attention, the bold exploration of our inner natures, how we react to what comes to us (karma), and how we can build depth of awareness across lifetimes, with Enlightenment. Theosophy, therefore, connects ethics and action, including both physical action in the world and the action of our own thoughts. Where we are ignorant of all the dimensions of our circumstances-and, short of Enlightenment, we are all ignorant-motive for thought and action is fundamental for altering one's karmic trajectory and future incarnations. The selections from The Secret Doctrine in this book are gathered with a focus on the consciousness exhibited in Nature, its origin and destiny, and on human self-consciousness, in particular. This book therefore explores one vital current in the Ocean of Wisdom that is Theosophy. A thoughtful and persistent reading of these texts will radically transform one's understanding of the unity of self-consciousness and the world around us, and of one's place in the greater scheme of things.
