Download or read book Lemuria written by Una Marcotte and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2018-10-25 with total page 180 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Before Atlantis, there was Lemuria. No one is certain as to when this civilization existed, but an educated guess is around 300,000 BC. It was a time when people began to live in communities and build shelters by the sea, for water was very sacred to them. The Lemurians were a highly spiritual people and practiced equality as it has never been practiced since. Everyone was equal regardless of what labor they provided for the welfare and comfort of everyone else. There was a Council of Elders, wise men and women who offered advice and suggestions to those asking for help, but even this group had no jurisdiction over anyone else in their village. The Lemurians possessed a group mind where no individuality existed or was even thought about and where no one belonged to anyone else. Even children did not belong to their mothers but to everyone residing in the community. The concept of marriage and family simply did not exist. No one owned anything either. Land, homes, and even possessions belonged to everyone in the community. It was also a matriarchal society where women were highly respected and had an equal voice with men. Learning about their lifestyle and culture, it quickly becomes apparent that modern humans would have a difficult time understanding the people of this ancient civilization. Yet it is important for humans of today to learn about Lemuria as this shift in thinking, in consciousness, that is permeating the world is actually a return to this kind, loving, compassionate Lemurian energy. The whole world is now slowly stepping up or ascending into this higher vibrational energy of love as exhibited by the earth’s first civilization, namely Lemuria.

Download or read book Lemuria written by Angela Lord and published by Temple Lodge Publishing. This book was released on 2024-10-21 with total page 106 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: ‘The ancient continent of Lemuria holds many keys to our present and future stages of evolution. Through an understanding of its deeper aspects we can unlock its mysteries, and indeed some of the mysteries of world evolutionary processes.’ – From the Foreword Basing her work on the research of Rudolf Steiner and occult writers such as William Scott-Elliot and Helena Blavatsky, Angela Lord conjures up powerful images of the lost landmass of Lemuria, interspersing her text with colour paintings, maps and drawings. She demonstrates how, by delving into our distant primeval past, we can discover events that brought about remarkable changes in the course of world evolution and human consciousness. Beginning with a survey of Earth evolution and its early geological phases, she relates Lemuria to the mystery of the Fall from Paradise, the loss of clairvoyance and the advent of human reproduction. ‘With the descent of the spirit-self, earthly desire and egotistic love entered humanity, and in the figure of Adam we recognize humanity of the Lemurian epoch in its progress towards human existence in earthly corporeality.’ Lord describes how, through the help and influence of diverse spiritual entities, the human being became balanced and upright and was able to develop physical senses. She discusses the origins of religion, the question of time, and the relevance of the legend of Isis and Osiris in this striking overview. The book also contains diagrammatic evolutionary charts by John Waterman and W. Scott-Elliot.
Book Synopsis The Rainbow Troops by : Andrea Hirata
Download or read book The Rainbow Troops written by Andrea Hirata and published by Macmillan + ORM. This book was released on 2013-02-05 with total page 255 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Published in Indonesia in 2005, The Rainbow Troops, Andrea Hirata's closely autobiographical debut novel, sold more than five million copies, shattering records. Now it promises to captivate audiences around the globe. Ikal is a student at the poorest village school on the Indonesian island of Belitong, where graduating from sixth grade is considered a remarkable achievement. His school is under constant threat of closure. In fact, Ikal and his friends—a group nicknamed the Rainbow Troops—face threats from every angle: skeptical government officials, greedy corporations hardly distinguishable from the colonialism they've replaced, deepening poverty and crumbling infrastructure, and their own low self-confidence. But the students also have hope, which comes in the form of two extraordinary teachers, and Ikal's education in and out of the classroom is an uplifting one. We root for him and his friends as they defy the island's powerful tin mine officials. We meet his first love, the unseen girl who sells chalk from behind a shop screen, whose pretty hands capture Ikal's heart. We cheer for Lintang, the class's barefoot math genius, as he bests the students of the mining corporation's school in an academic challenge. Above all, we gain an intimate acquaintance with the customs and people of the world's largest Muslim society. This is classic storytelling in the spirit of Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner: an engrossing depiction of a milieu we have never encountered before, bursting with charm and verve.
Book Synopsis The Lost Civilization of Lemuria by : Frank Joseph
Download or read book The Lost Civilization of Lemuria written by Frank Joseph and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2006-05-17 with total page 325 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A compelling new portrait of the lost realm of Lemuria, the original motherland of humanity • Contains the most extensive and up-to-date archaeological research on Lemuria • Reveals a lost, ancient technology in some respects more advanced than modern science • Provides evidence that the perennial philosophies have their origin in Lemurian culture Before the Indonesian tsunami or Hurricane Katrina’s destruction of New Orleans, there was the destruction of Lemuria. Oral tradition in Polynesia recounts the story of a splendid kingdom that was carried to the bottom of the sea by a mighty “warrior wave”--a tsunami. This lost realm has been cited in numerous other indigenous traditions, spanning the globe from Australia to Asia to the coasts of both South and North America. It was known as Lemuria or Mu, a vast realm of islands and archipelagoes that once sprawled across the Pacific Ocean. Relying on 10 years of research and extensive travel, Frank Joseph offers a compelling picture of this motherland of humanity, which he suggests was the original Garden of Eden. Using recent deep-sea archaeological finds, enigmatic glyphs and symbols, and ancient records shared by cultures divided by great distances that document the story of this sunken world, Joseph painstakingly re-creates a picture of this civilization in which people lived in rare harmony and possessed a sophisticated technology that allowed them to harness the weather, defy gravity, and conduct genetic investigations far beyond what is possible today. When disaster struck Lemuria, the survivors made their way to other parts of the world, incorporating their scientific and mystical skills into the existing cultures of Asia, Polynesia, and the Americas. Totem poles of the Pacific Northwest, architecture in China, the colossal stone statues on Easter Island, and even the perennial philosophies all reveal their kinship to this now-vanished civilization.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “A comprehensive encyclopedia of fantastic places straddling the nebulous borderlands between fact and fantasy.” —Frank Joseph, author of Opening the Ark of the Covenant There are places that turn up in literature or in film—mystical and legendary places whose names may be familiar but about which we know little. We nod knowingly at the reference, but are often left wondering about places such as Atlantis, the lost land overwhelmed by the sea, or El Dorado, the fabulous city that vanished somewhere in the South American jungles. Other names are more evocative—Mount Olympus, the Garden of Eden, the mystic Isle of Avalon, and Davy Jones’ Locker. But did such places actually exist and if so, where were they, and what really happened? What are the traditions and legends associated with them? In the fascinating book, Lost Lands, Forgotten Realms, historian Dr. Bob Curran sets out to find the answers by journeying to the far-flung corners of the world and to the outer reaches of human imagination. “In this fascinating encyclopedia of places that time forgot, Irish psychologist and historian Dr. Bob Curran brings the legends alive.” —Nexus magazine “Learned and erudite, yet written in an accessible and exceptionally readable style, this book is invaluable for those interested in the mysteries of vanished civilizations.” —Brian Haughton, author of Hidden History

Douglas Kenyon In Forbidden History writer and editor J. Douglas Kenyon has chosen 42 essays that have appeared in the bimonthly journal Atlantis Rising to provide readers with an overview of the core positions of key thinkers in the field of ancient mysteries and alternative history. The 17 contributors include among others, Rand Flem-Ath, Frank Joseph, Christopher Dunn, and Will Hart, all of whom challenge the scientific establishment to reexamine its underlying premises in understanding ancient civilizations and open up to the possibility of meaningful debate around alternative theories of humanity's true past. Each of the essays builds upon the work of the other contributors. Kenyon has carefully crafted his vision and selected writings in six areas: Darwinism Under Fire, Earth Changes--Sudden or Gradual, Civilization's Greater Antiquity, Ancestors from Space, Ancient High Tech, and The Search for Lost Origins. He explores the most current ideas in the Atlantis debate, the origins of the Pyramids, and many other controversial themes. The book serves as an excellent introduction to hitherto suppressed and alternative accounts of history as contributors raise questions about the origins of civilization and humanity, catastrophism, and ancient technology. The collection also includes several articles that introduce, compare, contrast, and complement the theories of other notable authors in these fields, such as Zecharia Sitchin, Paul LaViolette, John Michell, and John Anthony West.
Book Synopsis Galactic Heritage Cards by : Lyssa Royal Holt
Download or read book Galactic Heritage Cards written by Lyssa Royal Holt and published by Light Technology Publishing. This book was released on 2013-04-02 with total page 157 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Galactic Heritage Cards were first introduced in Japan, where hundreds of Lyssa's students have since used them with profound results. USING THE CARDS: The overall concept of the cards is to explore the journey from unity to fragmentation/polarity and back to reintegration. Since each of us is part of the same one consciousness, this is a holographic "journey" that unifies us all. The card system uses the holographic concept that we are experiencing both unity and separation simultaneously. The components of the cards explore this journey in a variety of ways, including: SPECIES or STAR SYSTEM: Twenty-one different species or star systems are represented in the four suits (or time streams) of cards to symbolize the main archetypal groups who have influenced the development of our galactic family. THEME: Each card has a theme or lesson that is connected to the civilization it depicts. Contemplative text and deeper commentary are presented for each card to help users understand how to apply this wisdom in their current lives. ARTWORK: The architect of these cards, the multidimensional consciousness Germane channeled through Lyssa, also assisted Hong Kong artist David Cow in the channeling of the images. Contemplating the artwork allows more information and energy to be transmitted that goes beyond the text for each card. The art works deeply with the subconscious and adds a powerful dimension to the user's inner work with the cards. In addition to the individual card art, an underlying image spans all the cards when they're laid out on a grid with 18 cards per row. This image represents our journey back to integration, and thus each card carries an embedded energy of unity even within the uniqueness and "separate journey" of each card. When the final card was channeled, the total number was 108 -- a sacred number in many traditions that reflects the idea of wholeness and completion. GETTING STARTED: In the accompanying booklet we offer more information, the text and commentary for each card, and several recommended spreads to help you get started.

Book Synopsis Atlantis and Other Lost Worlds by : Stuart Webb
Download or read book Atlantis and Other Lost Worlds written by Stuart Webb and published by The Rosen Publishing Group, Inc. This book was released on 2012-07-15 with total page 82 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Atlantis, the legendary city on an island in the Atlantic Ocean, was first described by the ancient Greek philosopher Plato as an empire larger than even the Roman Empire at its height. According to those people who believe in its reality, Atlantis existed in about 9,000 BCE (or the 1200s BCE according to another interpretation). Its empire allegedly stretched from the North American copper mines of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, the shores of Mexico and Colombia in the west, to Italy and Egypt in the east, encompassing more territories and peoples than any other empire. Plato claims, in the middle of Atlantis's war against the Mediterranean world, the island of Atlas, of which Atlantis was the capital, sank "in a single day and night" of earthquakes and floods. In this mesmerizing story, readers investigate the fascinating Atlantis legend and discover the perspectives of those who believe in its existence, those who don't, and the evidence each side uses to support its claims. Sidebars entitled Lost World Files, describe various theories and historical facts, and Seeker's Account, explain Atlantologists assertions.
