Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: GOD, WHY DIDNT HE COVER ME? DISCLAIMER: This is not the typical, tell-all story; it is an uncompromising expose! Emotionally and sexually abused by religious leaders, God has anointed me in the area of my affliction to purely expose the devices of Satan and challenge the Body of Christ to raise the standard of holiness, purity, and integrity. As I am willing to become transparent in this three-part series (From Mistress to Ministry), my testimony capitalizes on scriptural references and information, in conjunction with past experiences, to present a biblical reformation that will promote genuine holiness in a wayward church. The principle of spiritual warfare is that we must be called to order, before we can advance to the next level of victory. My objective is three-fold: to nurture damaged spirits, to foster a healing process for victims of abuse, and to present the deliverance that repentance brings to those who are trapped in sexual sins. Pastors, can God count on you to avoid the damaging effects of committing spiritual incest? Husbands, can your wives trust you to shun the immoral acts of adultery/fornication? Fathers, can your daughters lean on you to steer clear of raping them of their innocence? Teachers, can our children expect you to be mentors, and not molesters? Executives, can your subordinates rely on you to refrain from sexual-harassment violations? Political officials, can your citizens depend on you to protect us against economic hardship? President of the United States, can God trust you to call this nation back to Him and snatch us out of the hand of the enemy? More than mere members of an organization or a population, we are your sons and daughters. Powerful ambassadors of God, will you cover us in our imperfections and not continue to exploit our vulnerabilities? For the time is come that judgment [deliverance through investigation or examination] must begin at the house of God When the Kingdom of God does not influence the nation through truth and righteousness, the leadership of the nation is not equipped to positively affect its citizens. However, the nation cannot be healed until the church has been cleansed. Thus, we can not afford to remain complacent to the issues of clergy misconduct and the abuse and misuse of spiritual power. Secret issues can only be eradicated by exposing old wounds; otherwise, hidden infection will inevitably spread throughout the Body. In presenting this 21st-century exposition of the consequences of making ungodly decisions, I minister based on where I am, after I have judged myself based on where I was. Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; but have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the Word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every mans conscious in the sight of God (II Cor. 4:1-2).

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A demonic spirit has placed a slumbering stranglehold on many highly anointed saints in the modern church. Its mission is to stop believers from fulfilling their destiny by seducing, enticing, and berating them so that they fall asleep, forgetting their true purpose and giving Satan an advantage over God’s people. This is the spirit of Delilah. Although the woman named Delilah in Judges 16 was flesh and blood, a demonic spirit controlled her to bring down Samson, one of the mightiest warriors of the Bible. The spirit of Delilah is still thriving amid God’s people today, conspiring to weaken them and thwart their purpose in Christ. Prophetic minister Andrew Towe wrote Breaking the Spirit of Delilah: Accessing God’s Power to Topple Ancient Strongholds after an encounter with the Lord in which He revealed the enemy’s agenda to entice believers into a passionless Christianity that is void of power. God commissioned Andrew to expose the spirit whose assignment is to lull God’s warriors into a deadening sleep that leaves them powerless. Breaking the Spirit of Delilah contains explosive information concerning Christian living, spiritual warfare, prayer, and revival. If you believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are not for you… If you believe God does not have a plan for your life… If you’re not sure God’s Word can be trusted… Then this book is for you! Don’t let the spirit of Delilah make you weak and powerless! Join the fight to expose this wicked spirit and advance God’s kingdom.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: One look at today's church, and it becomes obvious that our culture is influencing the church more than the church is influencing our culture. It has been said everything rises and falls on leadership. Too many in leadership, whether it's fear of being labeled irrelevant, out of touch, bigoted, intolerant or not walking in love have caved to the clamoring of this present godless culture. There is too much weight given to trends and statistics for church growth rather than prayer and getting before God for His plan. As leaders, we cannot expect those we lead to rise above this present culture if we in the pulpits have not done so. A leader must be the example he desires to see in his church, in his leadership and/or organization. Instead of depending on trends and stats on how to grow our churches or ministries, we must allow God to confirm His word with signs and wonders. People are hungry for the power of God in demonstration. The Apostle Paul said he didn't come preaching with eloquence but rather came with the power and demonstration of the Word of God. It's time to allow the power and demonstration of God's Word back in our churches. To do that, we must get back to the undeniable truths of the Word of God. God will confirm His word not some watered down version of it. It is time for Christian leaders in all areas of life to once again stand strong on the immovable principles of the Word of God. The tried and true principles of the Word of God will never change with the winds of what is "popular" or what's "accepted" by the majority. God honors His word. As leaders, when we become immovable in His word, we will once again become the church that influences our culture. We have a world to reach. Let's raise the standard among church leadership.

Book excerpt: "The Oxford Handbook of the Historical Books of the Hebrew Bible offers 36 essays on the so-called "Historical Books": Joshua, Judges, 1-2 Samuel, 1-2 Kings, Ezra-Nehemiah, and 1-2 Chronicles. The essays are organized around four nodes: contexts, content, approaches, and reception. Each essay takes up two questions: (1) what does the topic/area/issue have to do with the Historical Books?" and (2) how does this topic/area/issue help readers better interpret the Historical Books?" The essays engage traditional theories and newer updates to the same, and also engage the textual traditions themselves which are what give rise to compositional analyses. Many essays model approaches that move in entirely different ways altogether, however, whether those are by attending to synchronic, literary, theoretical, or reception aspects of the texts at hand. The contributions range from text-critical issues to ancient historiography, state formation and development, ancient Near Eastern contexts, society and economy, political theory, violence studies, orality, feminism, postcolonialism, and trauma theory-among others. Taken together, these essays well represent the variety of options available when it comes to gathering, assessing, and interpreting these particular biblical books"--

Dr. Kuykendall will be your guidehaving made this journey many times himself. You will start your journey beginning in Genesis and continue on it until you reach the last verse of the book of Revelation. You will see things and think about things that many would prefer not to. But for those who persevere, their reward will be to know who their God is as compared to the God of the Bible and to know how the world could be more tolerant and peaceful if only those of the Abrahamic faiths would let go of their image of a vengeful warrior God.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When a woman loves a man it's like all the cliches you have ever heard. She "stands by her man." He has "sunshine on a cloudy day." She makes him feel like "a natural man." When a woman loves a man you are looking at how Christ loves. She puts his needs before her own. She focuses on what he needs and how he needs it. When a woman loves a man she is his biggest cheerleader and encourager. She will go to great lengths to protect him and promote him. Although Jezebel was definitely an ungodly woman she showed her love for Ahab, even though that love contributed to her death. When a woman loves a man she stands by him against all odds, in front of him against all foes, and behind him to protect his back. The Bible states that God took part of the man's rib and made the woman. This is significant for many reasons, one of which teaches us that the woman's love would be expressed in her protection of her husband emotionally. The ribcage protects the vital organs like the heart and the lungs. Yes, God has made man the physical protector of the woman but He's equaled the playing field by making the woman the emotional protector of the man. It has been said that man is the head, but it is the woman that turns the head. In Titus chapter 2 the older women are to teach the younger women how to love their husbands. When a Woman Loves a Man will explore and explain the characteristics that a woman demonstrates that expresses her love to her man in the way that God intended.

His true story illustrates how the "wiles", or methods, the devil uses can pull a man who is determined to live a life of Christian integrity off the path of faith in Christ and into the snares and traps of evil. Just as the vision warned, he was discouraged, deeply hurt by his family and church, tempted into sin and much more. Part One of SHACKING UP WITH DEMONS provides the reader with an awareness of how difficulties in life can open the door for demons or evil spirits to enter a person, even a believer, without his or her knowledge. Assistance in learning to identify these spirits is provided throughout the book. Part Two includes further teaching and the testimonies of others that assist the reader in the journey to deliverance through prayer and instruction. This book is a manual you won't want to lose. It will become a frequently used reference book. It is filled with information that will help victims of the enemy out of their bondage. Lonnie's experience shows how God is faithful to His promises, how He never takes His hand off His beloved. His awakening to his situation and return to the Christian walk will help many who are caught in the grip of the evil one. Join Lonnie on this journey as he travels the road to freedom and victory.
