The north half is devoted to the exhibits of the Fisheries Commission, Smithsonian Institute, and Interior Department. The State Department exhibit extends from the rotunda to the east end, and that of the Department of Justice from the rotunda to the west end of the building. The allotment of space for the several department exhibits is: War Department, square feet; Treasury, square feet; Agriculture, square feet; Interior, square feet; Post Office, square feet; Fishery, square feet, and Smithsonian Institute, balance of Space. The Treasury Department exhibit is in charge of Assistant Secretary Nettle ton; He matured the plans whereby the Mint, the Coast, and the Geodetic Survey, the Supervising Architect of the Treasury, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, the Bureau of Statistics, the life-saving Board, the light-house Board, and the Marine Hospital all have made exhibits.
