To strengthen and develop the voice, all singers need to practise regularly. This workbook contains vocal exercises to do at home. If you practise on your own as well as with your choir, this will help your voice to become really strong. As a singer, your whole body is your musical instrument – you take it to bed, on the bus, in the car, shopping, to parties and even on holiday – so it makes sense to take care of it. There are tips on voice care throughout this book. The book also contains puzzles and exercises to complete in your own time. As part of Voice for Life you are also expected to think about your choir and what it means to be a member of it. You will learn more about being a good team member and making the best contribution you can, and also about the role of your choir in your community.
