Dans la deuxieme partie, nous avons selectionne des cycles de vieillissement refletant les conditions reelles dans lesquelles travaille le materiau composite en reparation et/ou renforcement des structures. En parallele, nous avons lance des essais de vieillissement naturel.La finalite de ce travail de these consiste a tester des methodes de vieillissement representatives des conditions reelles en genie civil et a developper des essais de caracterisation precis afin de pouvoir determiner des indicateurs de durabilite fiables. Les resultats enregistres demontrent que selon le milieu de vieillissement, la nature de la matrice et les conditions de mise en oeuvre, les proprietes des composites et evoluent differemment au cours du temps.

Laurent Arnaud is a Bridges, Waters and Forestry Engineer (Ingénieur des Ponts, Eaux et Forêts) and researcher at Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble, France. He is also Professor at ENTPE (Ecole Nationale des Travaux Publics de l’Etat). Trained in the field of mechanical engineering, his research has been directed toward the characterization and development of new materials for civil engineering and construction.
