Il est du devoir du pharmacien de maîtriser les process ayant recours à l'oxyde d'éthylène afin d'assurer la sécurité des patients, celle des utilisateurs en contact avec le gaz mais également celle des dispositifs médicaux stérilisés afin de garantir leur sécurité d'utilisation. Pour atteindre cet objectif, les pharmaciens spécialistes en assurance qualité ont recours à une méthode utilisant l'identification, l'évaluation et la maîtrise des risques liés à un process. Cette méthode est communément appelée l'Analyse de Risques (ADR). Celle-ci peut se décliner dans tous les secteurs industriels et pour toutes les activités qui y sont pratiquées. C'est un outil cartographique utilisable a priori ou a posteriori du process qui est efficace pour garantir sa maîtrise et éviter les risques potentiels. Cette thèse a pour but de mettre en évidence l'utilité de l'ADR pour valider une modification d'une technique adaptée à un process de stérilisation à l'oxyde d'éthylène et ce, dans un cadre d'application pratique et concrète au sein d'un site industriel de dispositifs médicaux.
