Book excerpt: Introduction : Les applications de santé sur smartphone ont montré un intérêt dans les changements de comportements liés à la santé. Leur utilisation est peu documentée en France. Objectif principal : évaluer la fréquence d'utilisation de celles-ci chez les patients consultant en soins premiers. Objectifs secondaires : évaluer l'utilisation des applications de santé selon les caractéristiques sociodémographiques et médicales des patients et en déterminer l'usage. Méthode : Etude épidémiologique transversale menée par autoquestionnaire papier anonyme entre novembre 2017 et janvier 2018 en région grenobloise parmi des patients de 18-69 ans consultant dans 13 centres de soins premiers. Le critère principal était l'utilisation d'une application de santé sur smartphone. Résultats : Le taux de participation était de 49,3%. Sur 597 patients, 47,6% (IC=[43.6-51.6]) ont utilisé une application de santé sur smartphone. Il s'agissait principalement d'applications de bien-être, de prévention et de sport (66,1%), et relatives aux médicaments et au suivi de paramètres de santé (50,0%). Les facteurs influençant leur utilisation étaient : l'utilisation des réseaux sociaux (OR=3,36), le sexe féminin (OR=1,77), un âge inférieur à 30 ans (OR=2.68), la taille des villes (OR=1.81 entre 5001 et 10000 habitants, OR=2.10 si supérieure) et l'exercice de professions intermédiaires ou supérieures (OR=1,71). Conclusion : L'utilisation des applications de santé sur smartphone concernait environ un patient sur deux et est actuellement principalement limitée au bien-être, à la prévention et au sport chez une population jeune. Ces outils deviendraient plus intéressants en touchant une population plus large.

Secure edge computing solutions replace local networks, web services replace software, and devices with networked programmable logic controllers (NPLCs) based on Internet protocols replace devices that use proprietary protocols. Information captured by edge devices on the factory floor is secure and accessible from any location in real time, opening the communication gateway both vertically (connecting machines across the factory and enabling the instant availability of data to stakeholders within operational silos) and horizontally (with one framework for the entire supply chain, across departments, business units, global factory locations and other markets). End-to-end security and privacy solutions in IoT space require agile, context-aware and scalable components with mechanisms that are both fluid and adaptive. The convergence of IT (information technology) and OT (operational technology) makes security and privacy by default a new important element where security is addressed at the architecture level, across applications and domains, using multi-layered distributed security measures.
