Dans un premier temps, le bruit est supposé blanc. Différents algorithmes originaux basés sur la décomposition spectrale de la matrice d'autocorrélation du processus et sur la soustraction de bruit sont proposés. Le cas particulier d'un signal périodique est envisagé. Dans un second temps, le bruit est supposé coloré. Des solutions utilisant les cumulants d'ordre quatre du signal sont alors étudiées. Le problème est également considéré d'un point de vue déterministe. Une approche générale du problème basée sur la compensation d'une matrice de mesures sous un certain nombre de contraintes structurelles est développée. Enfin, des simulations sur signaux synthétiques permettent d'étudier les performances des différents algorithmes.

Franck Laloë was a researcher at the Kastler-Brossel laboratory of the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris. His first assignment was with the University of Paris VI before he was appointed to the CNRS, the French National Research Center. His research was focused on optical pumping, statistical mechanics of quantum gases, musical acoustics and the foundations of quantum mechanics.
