In consequence, the four deputies engaged in bank examinations had to be placed on the county work to enable us to complete the necessary work. Therefore, I was unable to make the two examinations required for the banks, and for another reason, there was not' sufficient money in our expense fund to permit the four deputies engaged in bank examinations to make the second trip over the state.
