Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The devil (Satan) has been able to fool the church and Christians ever since the early church went to bed with Rome around AD 330 under Emperor Constantine, who supposedly had a conversion to Christianity. The pagan religion brought all the false teachings and false gods all the way back to Egypt. And that system is just as false today. Repeatedly God warned the Jews in the Old and New Testaments that there are no gods but He alone. Yet we're still taught that by a rebellion Lucifer and Satan fell from heaven, which would make them gods. But the scripture verse in 1 Samuel 15:23 states specifically "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft." And there is absolutely no sin in the third heaven or there would be death in heaven. So the title To Hell with the Devil: It's Time to Blow the Lid Off Lucifer's Coffin. This will certainly make Satan uncontrollable mad and upset if this book comes to publication. He does not like being exposed as the complete liar that he has been from the beginning. Unfortunately, because of the past presidential election of 2020, he has managed to get his foot in the door of the US government. But he won't be satisfied until he takes over the entire USA. And as long as Christians and Patriots remain silent, it will all be over but the shouting. What I have written from the word of God only is the absolute truth. But as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said to those Serpents (Sadducees and Pharisees) in John 8:40, "But now you seek to kill me, a man that has told you the truth which I heard of God." And as the apostle Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:3-4, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine but after their own lusts shall heap to themselves teachers having itching ears and they will turn from the truth and shall and shall be turned unto fables." That is certainly what has happened in our time. But Satan's ultimate goal is the complete destruction of God's church.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Writing from the perspective of Satan, this book demonstrates the dark nature and cunning techniques of the Devil through the advice and sermons he gives to Earthly mortals. The Devil's seductive and tempting qualities are displayed ingloriously. Satan advises ordinary humans to live lives of sin and reckless indulgence, with callous disregard for oneself and others. To make his counsel more alluring and convincing, the Devil employs a variety of rhetorical techniques, noting the short term gratification and pleasure a person can enjoy by behaving in an injurious way. Examples include imbibing alcohol, tobacco, a rejection of Christian virtues, declining God's call, and promotion of atheism. The author himself was a committed Reverend who, by writing this book, strived to act as a literal 'Devil's Advocate'. Writing at the turn of the 20th century, the sermons Harris conceived also represent Christian outlooks emblematic of the time, with movements such as temperance represented in the chapters, and styles of dress shown in the illustrations. In all, we witness how a talented preacher's knack for words and speaking were adeptly purposed into a unique guide for believers eager to avoid the pitfalls of bad conduct.

Book excerpt: In this monograph, I argue that Satan was not perceived as a universal malevolent deity, the embodiment of evil, or the “ruler of Pandemonium” within first century Christian literature or even within second and third century Christian discourses as some scholars have insisted. Instead, for early “Christian” authors, Satan represented a pejorative term used to describe terrestrial, tangible, and concrete social realities, perceived of as adversaries. To reach this conclusion, I explore the narrative character of Satan selectively within the Hebrew Bible, intertestamental literature, Mark, Matthew, Luke, Q, the Book of Revelation, the Nag Hammadi texts, and the Ante-Nicene fathers. I argue that certain scholars’ such as Jeffrey Burton Russell, Miguel A. De La Torre, Albert Hernandez, Peter Stanford, Paul Carus, and Gerd Theissen, homogenized reconstructions of the “New Testament Satan” as the universalized incarnation of evil and that God’s absolute cosmic enemy is absent from early Christian orthodox literature, such as Mark, Matthew, Luke, Q, the Book of Revelation, and certain writings from the Ante-Nicene Fathers. Using Jonathan Z. Smith’s essay Here, There, and Anywhere, I suggest that the cosmic dualist approach to Satan as God’s absolute cosmic enemy resulted from the changing social topography of the early fourth century where Christian “insider” and “outsider” adversaries were diminishing. With these threats fading, early Christians universalized a perceived chaotic cosmic enemy, namely Satan, being influenced by the Gnostic demiurge, who disrupts God’s terrestrial and cosmic order. Therefore, Satan transitioned from a “here,” “insider,” and “there,” “outsider,” threat to a universal “anywhere” threat. This study could be employed as a characterization study, New Testament theory and application for classroom references or research purposes.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How we perceive our enemy will largely determine how we fight against him. Unless we grasp how the devil fits into God's scheme of things, we will find it difficult to stand against his conspiracy against us personally and his influence within our culture. We can have a proper theology of the devil only if we have a proper theology of God. Only when we stand in awe of God will we find it unnecessary to be in awe of Satan. As Martin Luther once said, 'The devil is God's devil.' God is still in control. The Serpent of Paradise gives an overview of the career of Satan and his interaction with the Almighty. It traces his fall from an exalted position to his demise in everlasting shame and contempt. It shows us that Satan always loses even when 'he wins.' Best of all, it confirms that we who have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light are able to stand against him. Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. ~ Ephesians 6:10-11 NIV. The Serpent of Paradise is a book about Satan, but it is also a book about God's power, God's program, and God's purposes in this world.

There are many cases where Satan has control of the mind, and those under the satanic influence are not all in asylums.*The Son of God was manifested in this world to DESTROY the works of the devil; and it is His purpose that the sons of God should also be manifested in this present earth to DESTROY the works of the devil.*The power of God is just the same today. It doesn't matter what the people say, Whatever God has promised He is able to perform, For the power of God is just the same today. *If there is anything in your life that in any way resists the power of the Holy Spirit and the entrance of His Word into your heart and life, drop on your knees and cry aloud for mercy. That you may be able to be changed from glory to glory.*The Master "made Himself of no reputation" (Phil. 2:7). He left the glory of heaven, with all its wonder. He left it and submitted Himself to humiliation. He went down, down, down into death for one purpose only: that He might DESTROY the POWER of death, even the Devil, and deliver those people who all their life have been subject to fear--deliver them from the fear of death and the Devil (Heb. 2:14-15). *You must live only in the place where the POWER of God rests upon you, and where the Spirit moves within you. Then God will mightily manifest his POWER and you will know as JESUS said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me." [Lk 4.

Book excerpt: Why do some make it to Heaven and some to Hell? This book gives an insight as to why the Presence of God is important to every human being. Heaven and Hell are both real places. Though Satan was in Heaven he refused to walk by God’s standards, rebelled against God and was cast down to Earth. The book draws a parallel with today’s world where people refuse to abide by the rules and regulations of God. It explains that choosing to live without the Presence of God only confirms the presence of Satan in their lives. Why did God cast Satan out of Heaven? How does Satan influence people even today? ‘Heaven to Hell’ will give you a glimpse of all this and more!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How can a loving God send people to hell? Isn’t it arrogant to believe Jesus is the only way to God? What is up with holy war in the Old Testament? Many of us fear God has some skeletons in the closet. Hell, judgment, and holy war are hot topics for the Christian faith that have a way of igniting fierce debate far and wide. These hard questions leave many wondering whether God is really good and can truly be trusted. The Skeletons in God's Closet confronts our popular caricatures of these difficult topics with the beauty and power of the real thing. Josh Butler reveals that these subjects are consistent with, rather than contradictory to, the goodness of God. He explores Scripture to reveal the plotlines that make sense of these tough topics in light of God’s goodness. From fresh angles, Josh deals powerfully with such difficult passages as: The Lake of Fire Lazarus and the Rich Man The Slaughter of Canaanites in the Old Testament Ultimately, The Skeletons in God's Close uses our toughest questions to provoke paradigm shifts in how we understand our faith as a whole. It pulls the “skeletons out of God’s closet” to reveal they were never really skeletons at all.

Book excerpt: Dancing With The Devil is about the evil strategies Satan uses to capture the soul of a Christian and how his destructiveness infiltrates the government of a Christian nation. When we let this enemy inside the temple of the Lord, (our heart and mind) and into our government entities we will begin to live a life of deep sorrow and regret. However, regardless of his strategies he cannot enter those places where he doesn’t belong unless we give him access through the choices we make that reject Christ’s statutes. To dance with the devil is to ignore scriptural wisdom, willingly trading biblical truth for personal lust and power while still claiming to be a Christian, attending church, and influencing others, especially tender hearts and innocent minds. It is to flirt with an evil attitude, and/or participate in evil behavior. Through my own personal experiences, as well as those shared by close friends and family, I have come to realize how the sinful choices each of us makes contributes to our own demise and to the brokenness in our families, which leads to a spiritually and physically broken nation. Every Christian must choose to help reduce evil, bring justice to the innocent, and help turn people to Christ by using wisdom and understanding to make good choices. Dancing With The Devil teaches Christians why it is important to let the Lord open the eyes of our heart so we can understand how that living in disobedience to His Word jeopardizes our soul and creates a world of evil—evil that begins with the smallest intent of the heart and mind, ends with the most wicked action, and sets up our people and our nation for failure. While we will never eradicate all the evil in the world, we must believe that it exists and accurately define it. Then we can judge and punish it, taking warlike action against it when necessary, minimizing its affect on humanity. Those whose goal is eternity in heaven with Jesus must understand His character and His commands. To live a life that contradicts His character and commands is to dance with the devil and endorse evil. When we discover that we are caught in this bondage we must repent; to repent is to stop, then turn around, and return to Jesus with all our heart, letting Him redeem us. When we renew our minds to conform to Jesus and His statutes, and change our behavior then the Lord will hear our prayer and will heal our land.

Book excerpt: The devil has fallen on hard times. Surveys say that even the majority of Christians doubt Satans existence. Burdened by doubts, skeptical believers find themselves divorced from Jesus dramatic confrontation with Satan in the Gospels and from the struggle that galvanized the early church. In Reviving Old Scratch, popular blogger and theologian Richard Beck reintroduces the devil to the modern world with a biblical, bold, and urgent vision of spiritual warfare: we must resist the devil by joining the kingdom of Gods subversive campaign to interrupt the world with love. Beck shows how conservative Christians too often overspiritualize the devil and demons, and progressive Christians reduce these forces to social justice issues. By understanding evil as a very real force in the world, we are better able to name it for what it is and thus to combat it as Jesus did. Becks own work in a prison Bible study and at a church for recovering addicts convinced him to take Satan more seriously, and they provide compelling illustrations as he challenges the contemporaryand strangely safeversions of evil forces. The beliefs of liberals and conservatives alike will be tested by Becks groundbreaking ideas, fascinating stories, and clear thinking. Because if Jesus took Satan seriously, says Beck, then so should we. Winner of the 2017 Book of the Year Award from The Academy of Parish Clergy!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As a human race, people from the day of Adam and Eve never consider the consequence of their actions. This book should teach you on how to cope with every aspect of life, from the loss of a pet, a friend, a family member; paying respects to the dead; mourning and praying for everlasting life; forgiveness; or just talking to someone, who is always listing by the way! That man is God, not the government! This book contains my views on how we still let the government control our lives and pay for military action and supply for war and not looking after the little people in the food chain. Drugs, from mary jane (cannabis) to pharmaceutical ones, to alcoholthis is the good, bad, and ugly from usage abuse. Its a good idea to take these drugs or other substances for any reason such as to talk out your problems instead of being depressed, bottling up or holding on to themyour emotions. Using a substance to sustain an unstable mind or to control anger depression or to feel mixed feeling such as happiness or contempt and every other emotion that goes with that or different concept. My aim in this book is to prove to the world that as a close-minded, irrational, undignified race, there is a god who loves everything and everyone who is there and close by smelling (your farts), watching (having sex, masturbating, eating, and everything else you and I do), listening (thoughts, prayers, and conversations), and feeling (your emotions, souls, hearts, minds and bodies desires). But he can only forgive to a certain extent; thats why the devil is burning in hell, and me, as the antidevil, I call myself, but my sins caused me to turn back on the one who loved me more than life (the holy family). Thats why God told Jesus to tell the apostle John to call me the Antichrist in the Bible and say he is the son of Satan, and my penalty is hell as well, if not obscure darkness, but I hope to repent somehow someday. I feel with the power of God, nothing is impossible. This book is about my theories; problems; thoughts; judgments; politics; history; science; business; the world in past, present, and future; at home on the streets; the rest of society and socializing; and everything that was and is created for a purpose in and around life living and loving. Also if it has no purpose, it could be disused.
