The story begins with childhood memories, including Ms. Lamberti's early education at the Crippled Children's Center, and goes on to describe how she overcame obstacles to pursue a Bachelor's degree and later a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. It continues to detail her career as a Leisure Counselor working with others with disabilities. There is even a bit of romance as the story progresses. My Amazing Journey touches upon Ms. Lamberti's contributions to the community, her accomplishments on the State level, and her participation in the Victory Awards in Washington, D.C. Finally, the manuscript concludes by describing her illness and how she overcame the odds with courage and strength. Even today she challenges herself and her world while using a stretcher for mobility and a ventilator to breathe.

He finds a rewarding engineering career with the research and development subsidiary of a large telecommunications company, while growing with his family of four. He becomes involved in the introduction of semiconductor devices and software into telecommunication, and the development of Canadian, American and international standards in his field. He writes technical papers, and presents them at international conferences. After his retirement in 2000, Nick Tullius concentrates on family research and making the history and culture of their ancestors accessible to English-speaking descendants of the Danube Swabians.
