Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Blessing is The Journey is a Christian inspiration book that gives testimony that when the hand of God is positioned on your life, there is no plan that can override his plan. It discusses the issue of fulfilling the destiny that God has planned for your life. I share overcoming obstacles and facing fears on the journey to purpose. The Bible tells us that the steps of a righteous man are ordered. It is in my journey and in my spiritual development to see these words become life lessons in the flesh. In it, I share my journey to building a relationship with God, as well as some of the trials in which God used to teach me his purpose for my life. It discusses those unique and precious gifts he gives us to help us along our journey and, most of all, his love for us and his desire to have us live fulfilled lives. I have not only learned to hear the voice of God, but I also have learned that a relationship with him will teach you to hear his voice along this journey. My proof is that over the course of twelve years, God did some of the most amazing things, as it is his will that my life be in alignment with his will. I am in no way saying that I am the perfect Christian, and in fact, there is no such thing as a perfect person. All I can say is that trusting and obeying God will eventually lead you to his promises for your life. If I am there yet is the question you might ask. It is only a question that I can answer with transparency and humility. No, I am not there yet, but I am closer than I have ever been. I believe that our lives are the evolution of who we were created to be. When you have a relationship with God and he reveals himself to you, you are moving to your higher self, the person he created you to be. This has been my journey, and this is just the beginning of my spiritual growth in him. I am his work in progress, and I am evolving toward the real me. I share my testimony as evidence that God does truly use the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. I can give witness that it is truly a humbling experience to hear the voice of God and even more so when he reveals himself to you. It is a thirst that nothing in this world can satisfy. I share with you my story of how I had to grow to an understanding of the gifts that God had placed inside of me and how they are to be used for the building of his kingdom. When God gives you a gift, it is never just for you. The gift that he gives us, when shared, ultimately shows his glory. In finding that gift, you must first be open to his love. God is love and is the greatest gift to us. It is his love that empowers us and gives us the strength to just keep going. In the face of adversity, he will give us his strength and his power to endure life’s storms and attacks that seek to rob us of his promises to give us a better life. Love is the connection to him, and when we share that love, the greater the strength in us. This is my testimony of God’s love.

Book excerpt: Everything changed that very moment. I was living the worst nightmare I could have ever imagined. Paralyzed with fear, I realized this was no accident. I knew our country was under attack. Minutes seemed like hours as we stood in front of the television. Not even thirty minutes after the South tower collapsed, I watched in disbelief as the North tower crashed to the ground, disappearing into a pile of dust. In an instant it was gone. But I knew that the God I serve was bigger than what I could see. Bigger than my circumstances. A God of miracles. I knew He could bring my husband home. But would He? I would soon realize that sometimes our stories don't end the way we think they should. Sometimes God has a different plan for our lives. SHELLY GENOVESE CALHOUN is a wife, a mother of two, and a former fashion model, and she has a story to tell. It is a story of God's perfect love, hope, and sovereign hands, which guided her through the worst tragedy on American soil.

Book excerpt: Ruth and Russell Beazley, Order of Australia recipients, led extraordinary lives helping others in the service of God, first as missionaries in Arnhem Land, Australia and then in The Salvation Army, Darwin. Ruth was a Triple Certificate Sister; Russell was an excellent, innovative agriculturalist, growing the first-ever crops of peanuts and cypress seedlings, to go with pineapples, bananas, and cassava. As well he ran a saw-mill. When the Whitlam government closed the missionaries, the Beazleys moved to Darwin. Ruth opened mobile Thrift shops across an immense area of the Top End. She supported financially the work of The Salvation Army Alcoholic Rehabilitation Centre where Russell was a Welfare Officer. He was also a part-time prison Chaplain to Berrimah Goal, and did 22 years of Hotel Visiting Ministry, retiring at 80. The Beazleys also ran an award-winning Companion Club in Darwin, and raised a family. Their service has evidenced ""living life to the full,"" and of coping magnificently with change. This is their compelling story.

This book was released on 2019-08-31 with total page 608 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the twelfth book in the series Christianity and the Human Brain. It integrates neuroscience and the Bible, the holy book of Jesus. My love for Jesus Christ abides with my lifetime passion for neurosurgery and medicine. I have a continual obsession for spiritual connectivity between the Holy Spirit and the human brain, which indeed separates mankind from all other living creation. It has been my belief that the human brain does not limit itself to the physical skull. Rather, it extends in a nonphysical form to the outside spiritual world, even while living on earth. In other words, a big part of the human brain is actually outside the skull and the body. After performing brain surgeries for three decades, I have realized that my theory is so true. The majestic human brain can’t be just the 1,500 grams of jelled matter inside the skull. The human journey, therefore, is transforming the human brain into the brain of a man of God and transforming the hand of man into the hand of the man of God. The spiritual human brain never dies. Only the flesh does. This is the center of my calling and my unrelenting meditations while roaming in the heartfelt spirit, lacking the physical proof that science demands from me. My life is dedicated to Jesus, to my patients, and to my residents. As a physician, I have reached the top within America both as a professor of neurological surgery and anesthesiology and as a well-published author of several famous medical journals. As an academic teacher, I trained for more than thirty-four years and have watched thousands of trainees graduate. But all this is nothing as I strive to achieve Christian holiness and fullness. In a weeping healthcare with many patients’ falling victims, I included actual miracles, testimonials, and sincere quotes from patients as a testament to the Almighty and the dire need for faith and good-hearted medicine. This book is full of many vibrant stories that I love to share, which is timely since I am guessing that my generation will soon be viewed obsolete by future generations. What will remain are the books I authored. This book is a text of wealth, covering broad and diverse topics in my life journey within 134 chapters and organized over fourteen sections. So many chapters are written about my special love for Jesus Christ and his children. In poems, deep reflections, and spiritual release of mind, I wrote extensively. In fact, I shut my senses and impersonated the human brains of the men of God and the children of the Most High in their prominent biblical stories. A special section is dedicated to mothers, newborns, and little children. While my soul is grieving, a section is centered on the ongoing Christian persecution, especially the genocide of Christians in my country, Egypt, which is also the ancient region of the Middle East and the oldest historic continent of Africa. Furthermore, I wrote some of my dreams and thoughts that I couldn’t otherwise convey for one reason or another, such as neuroscience in aerospace and some of the timely and touching subjects such as drug overdose, human trafficking, and health-care crises. Few chapters are included about my personal views about introducing spirituality into the recent turmoil in politics. Friends, human life starts with love and ends with eternal love for our savior. It is never enough to share our love and write about love and talk about actual love stories of heavenly roses, joy, Christmas, healing touch, miracles, and our calling for his purpose. This is what my twelfth book is all about.

But as she grew older, demons came forth from dark corners of her idyllic kingdom—with the scariest creatures lurking within her tortured mind. Shadows in the Sun traces Gayathri’s courageous battle with debilitating depression that consumed her from adolescence through marriage and a move to the United States. Her inspiring memoir provides a first-of-its-kind cross-cultural view of mental illness—how it is regarded in India and in America, and how she drew on both her rich Hindu heritage and Western medicine to find healing.

When Miss Fannie's preacher asks her to donate one of her precious hats to the church auction, choosing which one to part with is no small task. This heartwarming story about the rewards of unselfish love will enchant readers young and old. The star of Miss Fannie's Hat is based on Jan Karon's own grandmother. "My grandmother, Miss Fannie, was so wonderful I wanted to share her with everyone," says Jan Karon. "I wrote Miss Fannie's Hat to give both children and adults a sense of family, to give them the grandmother or great-grandmother they never had, or always wished they had. Briefly, the story is about sacrifice--and the rewards that can come when we give with a willing heart."
