This volume explores the value of lexicographical data in the study of language variation. Schließlich machte es die geschilderte Situation der Lexikologie erforderlich, eingehend Fragen zur Disziplin, zu ihren Methoden und ihren Beziehungen zu Nachbardisziplinen zu behandeln.
