He explains that has been following her since he noticed her hypnotising an innocent market seller with her magical ability, an action that revealed her to be the same kind as him. Jess knows nothing about witches and has no real knowledge of her own true identity, which has been hidden by her folks. But now that Gideon has peaked her interest, she is ready to gain a better understanding of who and what she is. But even though she thinks she is ready to find out the truth of her identity, she had not counted on, at the same time, being so ill-prepared for the emotions and feelings that Gideon’s presence is able to provoke within her! A Witch’s Inner Magic Lara’s village is on the verge of being seized by a new order of witches who expect all other witches to join with them in their battle against humankind – and they will not take no for an answer! Lara is very much concerned that the new order will follow through with their threat and punish her beloved village. The Witch’s Fight Lord Daniel Clifford, a powerful witch, is woken up in the middle of the night by his maid Rhiannon, who comes to warn him about a group of witches called the new order who are on their way to imprison him. Daniel is full of outrage at such an attack against him, but controls himself enough to listen to Rhiannon’s rational words and escape before they get their hands on him, allowing him to come back to fight them another day, when the odds are more in his favour. Up until that point, Daniel had always been satisfied to avoid any decision-making with regard to joining the new order of witches who believe in enslaving all humans.
