In England, a Wicca coven warns British Intelligence of a prophecy to assassinate a future US president. It is to be carried out by Ramses, the son of the Anti-Christ. British MI-5 notifies the CIA. The CIA enlists the Hawaii Attorney General because Ramses was last known to be in Hawaii. Hawaii authorities discover that there is more to the prophecy besides a potential assassination. If the assassination is carried out, it will lead to the start of Armageddon. To prevent the fulfillment of the prophecy, Ramses must be reunited with the Anti-Christ in ancient Babylon, now modern-day Iraq. The Bible believing Lieutenant Governor of Hawaii sees this as another piece of evidence of the approaching End-Times. He recruits Honolulu narcotics detective Jake Cohen-Garcia, a former Navy SEAL. Jake is the ideal Anti-Christ bounty hunter because of his born again Christian reputation and his unique Jewish-Hispanic DNA. Jakes DNA heritage matches up perfectly with links connected to the Wicca prophecy. Jake is teamed up with two investigators and a certified exorcist priest. They form a unique investigative unit: The God Squad. The squads mission is to locate Ramses and short-circuit the prophecy of Armageddon. The mission takes the squad into the bizarre world of the occult and quantum mechanics that challenges their faith, their strength, and their sanitythe battles with the paranormal compound, Cohen-Garcias struggle with his personal demons and split personality. It threatens to destroy his faith, along with his family, as it propels him toward his own destruction. In the end, Jakes salvation comes from an up-close and personal confrontation with Ramses, a holy man from another world. The salvation of the world hangs in the balance.

Book excerpt: Socio-political Nonfiction, eBook, by the acclaimed author of AVENGING STORM.American liberalism and conservatism face each other across a vast socio-political chasm, as if looking across the Grand Canyon. They are too far apart to ever come together, yet close enough to be observed in great detail. Each side is spring-loaded to defend its turf, unwilling to yield ground; their favorite tool is the federal government. Sooner or later, there will be politically motivated violence unless a peaceable alternative is exercised. Can the USA survive a modern civil war? Is there a peaceable alternative that will enable each culture to live under its own rules? MANIFEST SECESSION is A PROPOSAL FOR PEACE AND LIBERTY to enable those adverse cultures to willingly separate into their own nations, peacefully, to pre-empt violent conflict. Can secession save American liberty from its foremost nemesis, the federal government? Read and find out.

He's also an operative of the agency SCENT, tasked with finding lost colony planets, then guiding them toward democracy and eventual membership in the galactic community. But when he stumbles across the strange new planet Gramarye, he's shocked to discover a medieval society full of witches and warlocks, elves and monsters. How is it even possible? Worse, Rod's advanced technology quickly gets him labeled a warlock, despite his constant denials. Moreover, the Kingdom is in political turmoil, with a young girl-queen on the brink of civil war with her rebellious lords. Rod slowly discovers off-world organizations are behind the unrest, trying to subtly corrupt Gramarye away from democratic rule. His mission is threatened at every turn by fascists, anarchists, and double-dealing royalists playing vicious political power games for the future of the most unique—and perhaps most important—planet in the galaxy. Aided only by a coven of teenage witches, a ragtag army of beggars, and his epileptic robot horse Fess, Rod decides the only way to thwart these destructive influences—both native and off-planet—is for him to become a part of the local fabric and lead Gramarye as one of their own. But to do so, Rod Gallowglass must put aside his own convictions and beliefs, and become a warlock, in spite of himself.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a sequel to The Greatest Lie on Earth (Expanded Edition): Proof That Our World Is Not a Moving Globe. It will primarily focus on the infiltration into the church of the superstitious myth of heliocentrism and how that infiltration has served to undermine the gospel. The gospel is the entire Holy Bible, not just some of it. Matthew 4:4. Christian belief is an all or nothing proposition. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16. God’s account of his creation is part and parcel of the gospel. A person with genuine faith believes what Jesus said about both heavenly and earthly things. “If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?” John 3:12. Jesus is God. Jesus created all things in heaven and on earth. See Colossians 1:16-18. God has revealed himself through his creation. "[T]hat which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse." Romans 1:19-20. If men have a misunderstanding of God’s creation, they will also have a misunderstanding of who God is. If people believe in a creation that does not exist, they consequently also believe in a creator that does not exist. It is essential, therefore, to have an accurate understanding of God’s creation. God did not make a movable, spherical earth. If men believe in a heliocentric creation, they will necessarily believe in a heliocentric creator. A heliocentric creation does not exist. So also, a heliocentric creator does not exist. A heliocentric creator is a false god. We have been warned to avoid the preaching of a false gospel, which presents a false Jesus. "For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." 2 Corinthians 11:4.

Book excerpt: The second and concluding book of the chaotic adventures that began with The Quest. The Warlock Netherspoon, and the Immortal Sid, find themselves trapped in the alternate world of Tharin. To their surprise, it is far more advanced than their own world. In this universe, the T'carthian Druids have conquered most of the planet and a race begins to track down Netherspoon's alternate self, the only man who may be able to help them get home. With the aid of the D.A.T.O (Dwarves against T'carthian oppression) and the S.A.S (short and stealthy) the two begin their long journey. Emperor Vorden, despotic leader of the T'carthian Empire, unleashes his secret weapon, the THX 13 (the Verminator). A terrifying humanoid robot that is sent to destroy all rebellious elements within the empire, along with a few choice nuclear missile strikes for good measure. Overseeing this project is the dreaded Eric Von Lederhosen, head of the much feared Testapo, the man they simply call - the iron fist in the iron glove inside a tank surrounded by a herd of angry rhinoceroses. The answer is simple, Netherspoon must go forward in his time, which is in the past in the alternate universe, change history that has yet to happen and save two universes from utter destruction. Confused? Wait till you read the book!

Book excerpt: Stitched together over five years of journaling, Obiter Dicta is a commonplace book of freewheeling explorations representing the transcription of a dozen notebooks, since painstakingly reimagined for publication. Organized after Theodor Adorno's Minima Moralia, this unschooled exercise in aesthetic thought--gleefully dilettantish, oftentimes dangerously close to the epigrammatic--interrogates an array of subject matter (although inescapably circling back to the curiously resemblant histories of Western visual art and instrumental music) through the lens of drive-by speculation. Erick Verran's approach to philosophical inquiry follows the brute-force literary technique of Jacques Derrida to exhaustively favor the material grammar of a signifier over hand-me-down meaning, juxtaposing outer semblances with their buried systems and our etched-in-stone intuitions about color and illusion, shape and value, with lessons stolen from seemingly unrelatable disciplines. Interlarded with extracts of Ludwig Wittgenstein but also Wallace Stevens, Cormac McCarthy as well as Roland Barthes, this cache of incidental remarks eschews what's granular for the biggest picture available, leaving below the hyper-specialized fields of academia for a bird's-eye view of their crop circles. Obiter Dicta is an unapologetic experiment in intellectual dot-connecting that challenges much long-standing wisdom about everything from illuminated manuscripts to Minecraft and the evolution of European music with lyrical brevity; that is, before jumping to the next topic.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This biographical dictionary shines the spotlight on several hundred unheralded stunt performers who created some of the cinema's greatest action scenes without credit or recognition. The time period covered encompasses the silent comedy days of Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd, the early westerns of Tom Mix and John Wayne, the swashbucklers of Douglas Fairbanks, Errol Flynn, and Burt Lancaster, the costume epics of Charlton Heston and Kirk Douglas, and the action films of Steve McQueen, Clint Eastwood, and Charles Bronson. Without stuntmen and women working behind the scenes the films of these action superstars would not have been as successful. Now fantastic athletes and leading stunt creators such as Yakima Canutt, Richard Talmadge, Harvey Parry, Allen Pomeroy, Dave Sharpe, Jock Mahoney, Chuck Roberson, Polly Burson, Bob Morgan, Loren Janes, Dean Smith, Hal Needham, Martha Crawford, Ronnie Rondell, Terry Leonard, and Bob Minor are given their proper due. Each entry covers the performer's athletic background, military service, actors doubled, noteworthy stunts, and a rundown of his or her best known screen credits.
