Book excerpt: THE UNTOLD STORY is a depiction of a chosen people who civilized the continents of Africa and Asia. These chosen people were Ethiopians. There are five central characters in this book: Enoch, Noah, Moses, Abraham and Jesus Christ. The Untold Story provides a vivid and accurate account of a chosen people who were specifically selected by God to be his people, to live accordantly to his will, but failed to live up to his expectations. This eventually caused a deportation out of their land in Israel and parts of Africa. They are now scattered throughout the world. This book also provides a history of the many nationalities that make up the world as you see it today, the history of religions and who started them, and lastly the Anti-Christ. You will find that this book will challenge the mind to know more of man's origin and one's family tree. This book will be helpful in both churches and schools.

Book excerpt: Author and writer, Rebecca Kaddi, has a passion for saving souls and building marriages. In this book, she provides a true account of how Satan used his agent in the church to destroy marriages and Christians. She explains that as a sign for the end times, deception is on the rise—even in the churches. Deception is no longer dark for you to be able to distinguish easily. It appears just as written in 2 Corinthians 11: 13-14 "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light" (NKJV). It is now very difficult to tell the difference between righteous and unrighteous, good and evil, clean and unclean, holy and unholy, and sacred and secular. The false prophets select the parts of the scripture that will support their philosophical and psychological intentions, and deceive many into thinking that they are real. It is time for men and women to guide themselves with the spirit of discernment. This book reveals what to watch for so that you do not fall into their traps. They generally do not preach salvation. They may call the name of God and Christ but will never want you to be saved. They make you feel good and comfortable and never challenge you to come out of your sins and submit to God.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The twenty-first century has opened with a rapidly changing map of Christianity. While its influence is waning in some of its traditional Western strongholds, it is growing at a phenomenal pace in the global South. And yet this story has largely eluded the corporate news brokers of the West. Layered as it is with countless personal and corporate stories of remarkable faith and witness, it nevertheless lies ghostlike behind the newsprint and webpages of our print media, outside the camera's vision on the network evening news. Miriam Adeney has lived, traveled and ministered widely. She has walked with Christians in and from the far reaches of the globe. As she pulls back the veil on real Christians--their faith, their hardships, their triumphs and, yes, their failures--an inspiring and challenging story of a kingdom that knows no borders takes shape. This is a book that coaxes us out of our comfortable lives. It beckons us to expand our vision and experience of the possibilities and promise of a faith that continues to shape lives, communities and nations.

Book excerpt: Jesus comes to life in this fascinating modern biography excerpted from The Urantia Book. Many of these historical stories are familiar to readers of the New Testament but dozens are new, including the missing years not found in the Bible. Here you discover Jesus presented as never before, both as divine Son and human hero whose matchless life inspires, comforts, and transforms you. It is beautifully written in modern, page-turning prose and complemented with 106 paintings from 35 renowned artists, including 42 originally commissioned works you will see for the first time. The paintings run the gamut of fine art celebrating the life of Christ, both classic and modern. These artists poured their souls into these portraits of higher spiritual reality. Our deep appreciation and humble gratitude go out to each one of them. These paintings illustrate Jesus' life journey from his humble birth and childhood to adolescence and manhood; from private to public ministry and on to his death, resurrection, and ascension. The artwork celebrates his diverse life as son, father-brother, carpenter, boat designer and builder, tutor, translator, caravan conductor, teacher, healer, minister, and friend. No one knows what Jesus looked like, but these artists painted their soulful interpretations to spark our imagination of these scenes from the Master's life. Our intent is to give you a visual communion with Jesus that complements the enthralling narrative. This impeccably designed book provides relevant and empowering spiritual insights, helping you navigate the challenging yet promising conditions of the 21st century. We live in an exciting era of unprecedented improvements in our material lives brought about by scientific, industrial, and social achievements. Yet despite all this progress, many souls feel lonely and displaced. We need God and have an innate thirst for spiritual answers because of that "still, small voice" that lives within us. Finding God by living the personal religion of Jesus satisfies that thirst. The search for the genuine Jesus continues to intrigue humanity. Since the Bible only records an estimated 50 days of his life, it follows that there is more to his story. You will find it here in this detailed history of the Master's entire life, including the public ministry recorded in the Gospels. It provides a coherent and seamless biography of this magnificent personality who continues to shape spiritual progress in our world. The story of Jesus is one of the most enthralling chapters in human history. The closing passage of the Apostle John's gospel speaks to a life larger than even the world itself. How fitting that the last words of his gospel should be the first words of this book: "But there are also many things which Jesus did; were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself would not contain the books that would be written." In John's day the Word was made flesh. In these days the Word is made book. The Untold Story of Jesus reveals the living Christ to members of the church that bears his name, as well as to worshipers of all world religions. It is sure to become a favorite volume for all who seek God.

Book excerpt: • Popular author and HuffPost blogger • Good for use by individuals or groups Whether we realize it or not, how we respond to life’s opportunities and challenges, to other people, and to ourselves depends upon the stories we tell about ourselves. Too often, we tell distorted stories drawn from painful experiences or internalized from others’ critical voices. These fake stories diminish our dreams, damage our relationships, and fill us with fear and self-blame. Research shows that people yearn for personal experiences of the holy, and Jake Owensby begins by inviting readers to re-imagine Jesus as friend and lover. He then turns to encouraging readers to hear and tell how Jesus would express their story and the stories of others. Jesus’ story about us is our true story: the gospel, the story of the beloved. It helps us experience the richness of life, see the stranger as friend, and make a difference in the world. Useful for both personal spiritual practice and group studies, Your Untold Story will help expand the soul by engaging imagination and deepening relationships among group members. It is a discipleship tool that will aid any individual or group of spiritually minded people. The missional church requires well-formed disciples; here is a resource to help in that process.

Book excerpt: We know little about those who surrounded and supported Jesus Christ during his remarkable ministry. The gospels are really just the bare bones of a story about one of the most powerful figures in history. There must have been many heroes and villains not mentioned in the New Testament. This is a fictional account of a lifelong supporter and friend of Jesus. Someone he relied on and turned to throughout his career. That person is Jesse, a man of action. Always prepared to go the extra mile for his Master, he did so at great personal cost. Jesus was crucified, but the person who rescues His ministry and creates his legacy is someone not mentioned or recognized in the scriptures. Raw emotion, violence, and biblical truths are all revealed. This story covers the saints and sinners of the day. From miracles to murder, it’s all here! You will be enthralled by the risks and relationships and constantly find yourself saying, “What if . . .”

Book excerpt: Family was more important to Jesus than you think. Discover the hidden narrative throughout the Gospels that was lost in translation... until now. "A sweeping story of family, political and social struggle, and death and redemption that embodies the very message of Christian faith." (Midwest Book Review) Jesus' family played an important role in his ministry, death, and resurrection. This narrative is often missed because of translation misunderstandings from the original Greek. Let D. Paul Schulz fill in these critical gaps to broaden your understanding of Jesus' life. While many Christians think they know about the life of Jesus, few realize the less obvious--and rarely discussed--family ties woven throughout his ministry. For example, Mary didn't plan on having baby Jesus in a stable but with family living close by. When you learn the meaning and context of these family connections and how they motivated Jesus, you'll add new depth and vibrancy to your understanding of the Gospels. In Joseph is Dead, you'll discover: - The true sequence of events between Jesus' birth and the arrival of the Wise Men - The role that Joseph and his family played in the unrecorded "silent years" - What could have motivated Judas to betray Jesus in the way he did - New meaning behind Jesus' appearance to Mary Magdalene and the Apostle Peter that provides greater comprehension of the Easter story - Why Jesus was rejected by his hometown of Nazareth, and much, much more Joseph is Dead uses biblical scholarship and insightful psychoanalysis to help draw conclusions about how Jesus' life relates to ours today. If you like boldly written Christian scholarship that's deeply insightful and accessible to the armchair reader, then you'll love D. Paul Schulz's revolutionary new book. Buy Joseph is Dead today to experience Jesus in a whole new light.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a systemic examination of prophecies and instructions to Ethiopia by God. They show how God used Ethiopia to ensure the continuation of the chosen people, supporting the kingdom of heaven. There are many prophecies and signs specifically referenced to Ethiopia and the Ethiopian people. In many verses, Ethiopia is specifically addressed to come to the aid and/or support prophets spreading Christianity. It would be hard to overstate the impact of Ethiopia on the advancement of Christianity. For example, King Tirhakah, the Ethiopian king of Egypt/Ethiopia, intervened to save Judah in the year 620 BC. This event is well documented in the Bible and other ancient writings. If we fast-forward two thousand years, we find the Ethiopian Church of today that has a membership of between 40 and 46 million; Christians which make up about 60 percent of the total population of the country. Ethiopia was also the first country to declare Christianity a state religion and had never been occupied by a foreign country. This book will explain how God commissioned the Ethiopians to work for the kingdom of God and to spread Christianity geographically and ethically to the ends of the earth. The relationship between God and the Ethiopia people represent the greatest story never told until now. Writing this book was a very difficult task; I relied on the Lord and his wisdom. I was guided by Philippians 1:6: "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." This book represents a story that needed to be told and God-inspired.
