The same kind of habits are practiced tend to be practiced among Men regarding bot Politics and Religion. In all three cases nothing is done to check the facts. With Religion, people tend to want to believe the way they were raise, the same goes for politics. Most voters will admit that they belong to the same political party that their parents did before them, due to a sense of tradition. However, the same people will not tell me why they voted the way they did on the issues much less what the issues is that they voted on. The Bible says, 'Study to show yourself approved' (2 Timothy 2:15). If you don't have time to study the issues don't vote! A reckless voter is far worse than a nonvoter, for the reckless voter is likely to get caught up in the passion of the Mob and vote in the direction they want him to. In fact I think the press should stop covering an election about six months before it is held so the media bias can be counter acted. People say it is your civic duty to vote. I sat it is only your civic duty to make an informed responsible vote. Tomas Jefferson was correct in saying, "Democracy can only work if the people can remain educated.--Back cover.

The same goes for your faith. Too many people have died over things they believed the scriptures say but it turns out the phrase known as the Verse of the Sword is not even a part of the Koran. Yet Muslim extremists cite the phrase to justify their acts. Like it or not you can have religion without politics but you can't have politics without religion. The religious traditions of a culture dictate the political direction that the culture will head in the future. After all the moral platform on which most candidates run is deeply rooted in cultural biases which have their roots in the local religion. We as humans are not wired to compartmentalize one part of our life from another. Therefore it is foolish to assume the just because the Supreme Court says that we can't mix Religion and Politics, does not mean it is even possible for humans to do so. In fact we need only to take a good look around to notice that our American way of life is giving way to Socialism and ultimately anarchy. To keep this from happening we need to revive the importance of Family to our youth. We need to kick the government out of our homes and invite God in. If American Democracy is going to live, we must restore a general sense of Morality in our culture. We must keep in mind that, "No power is given to you, except by God" (Romans 13:1), therefore if our leaders are not doing God's will, we must realizes that they have no authority left. We must remember, law is a mutually agreed contract between the governed people and the elected buffoons, who for the most part, choose not to uphold their end of the bargain. If either party violates that contract the law has repercussions for its violation or the contract is rendered obsolete, in which case why bother with the contract in the first place? In the case of the American government refusing to do its job and up hold the Constitution which protects the rights of the individual, the employer {the Tax payer} reserves the right to abolish the contract and put in its place a new guard to secure the God given rights of the governed.

It comes down to mankind's desire for instant gratification. In Luke 9, there is a passage where Jesus, before He picks up His cross, once and for all time, talks specifically about who He is and what He has come to do at his first coming. In that passage, he tells His disciples that they, too, along with all those who choose to follow Him, must pick up their cross daily. This does not appeal to the instant gratification crowd, but it is where faith begins. Where our faith journey begins determines where our journey will end.
